"Now that I know you’re a freaking monster...! I WON’T HAVE MERCY!"
Triton was completely furious that he was deceived, pointing his hands at the monster and gathering his energy, manifesting a giant trident and firing it at it.
"DIE!"
"GUUAAAGH!"
BOOOMMM!!!
A massive explosion of azure and golden water\-attribute soul essence erupted, blowing through dozens of rooms and leaving a gigantic hole, where waterfalls fell constantly.
Amidst the destruction, the destroyed body of what seemed to be a slimy, black\-colored miasmic creature lay there, slowly fading away.
"What the hell was that? A new type of mimic monster?! So fucking scary! Ew..."
"Hmm... Well, I tried to be nice to you, you’re a child after all. Giving you a nice, calm, and painless death would have been the right way to do things. And yet you had to notice, and you had to fight back... Oh dear, you’re quite the handful, are you not?"
"Huh?"
Triton’s eyes widened, as he saw that, amidst the empty air, as if moving through an invisible curtain, the figure of an old man emerged.
He had a long, bald head, as if his brain was at least three times as big as others’, with empty eyes and a long, white beard...
This old man wore green and white ancient Japanese robes, and several bracelets made of colorful prayer beads of all sizes.
While floating in the middle of the empty air, the very old man looked at Triton with a disappointed expression.
"You should have accepted my mercy... Now, it’s not going to end nicely for you, son."
"You creepy old man! So it was you who was behind this?! I’ll fucking kill you! Nobody makes fun of my dad like that and lives to tell the tale!"
Triton swiftly transformed into his Sea Dragon Form, his aura surging like constant oceanic tides clashing against the empty air.
"I am Omoikane—the whisper behind wisdom, the storm behind certainty. I have ceased pondering. I now impose."
The old man smiled, as invisible psychic forces surged from his Aura, constructing a perfect cube around him.
"Your intentions echo before you. Your fears sculpt my blade. Knowledge is no longer choice—it is agony, son."
"Nnnggh...! Don’t make fun of me!"
"Let us debate—with your mind as parchment, your memories as ink. I will author your surrender, and your end!"
Omoikane laughed, spreading his hands as his psychic powers reached their limits, spreading everywhere and shocking Triton.
"Psychic Power?! Like that girl Lucia and the twins with Alma?!" Triton asked. "Hmph! Don’t think that’ll stop me!"

The abyss swallowed everything, the same way Benladann once felt the darkness take over her life and then embrace her in the coldness of death. But this time, instead of truly dying, she was protected by a gentle touch. Drake’s barrier protected her and the rest of the family, helping them safely land in whatever place this was where she woke up.
By her side was Benladra, still unconscious, but alive and healthy. She had instinctively hugged her daughter, the closest person to her at that moment, before Oda Nobunaga used his powers to siphon everyone into his own Abyssal Dimension, born from the monstrous powers of the corpse of a goddess he had helped slay.
"Oh, thank God you’re all safe..."
She sighed in relief after she saw her daughter, and then Miranda hugging Drakda and Kate, the faint phantom of Andromeda manifesting behind her, greeting her while slightly glitching.
"A-Andromeda? Wait, what happened? Where are we right now?"
"Benladann...! I’m glad you’re alright. Everyone seems safe, but we’ve become separated," Andromeda explained. "Drake is currently looking for everyone. He’s begun to assimilate the cursed miasma of this dimension, which seems to inhibit, weaken, or even outright seal some of our abilities. Even now that he can teleport, it seems limited."
"Aw, fuck..." Benladann quickly stood up, waking up her daughter. "Benladra! Benladra! Time to wake up! We can’t be sleeping now; this place is too dangerous, dear."
"Hmmm... Muuh?" Benladra slowly opened her golden eyes, glancing at her mother with a sleepy expression. She was already in her Dragonoid form. "Mama? What’s wrong? Eh? What’s going on?"
"Long story short, we fell into that black void... Your dad protected us well, but we ended up separated," Benladann explained. "Do you feel alright? Nothing wrong with your body? Nothing broken?"
"No, I’m fine but... ugh, the air in this place feels so heavy," Benladra said, slowly sitting down, looking around with a sleepy face. "It feels like it’s contaminated everywhere... Hmm, let’s see... this should work."
"{Starlight Dome}!"
FLAAASH!
Benladra conjured a powerful Divine Spell in a second, fueled by the power of her Archetype’s Skill "Stellar Aegis". She formed a barrier around the entire room where they found themselves.
The Cursed Miasma quickly dissipated after the dome encompassed the entire area, and Benladann and the rest felt more relieved.
This aura helped the rest wake up, although only Kate felt weakened by the Cursed Miasma. Miranda and Drakda felt no different; if anything, it was somewhat comfortable.
"Hmm... Mama? What happened? Auntie...?" Kate asked, confused.
"A lot happened, dear, but I’m glad you’re alright," Andromeda said, patting her head.
"Eh? Mama, you’re all blurry..." Kate said, glancing at her mama.
"Sorry about that, we’re experiencing some difficulties here," Andromeda said. "Well, for most, I can tell Miranda and Drakda aren’t as bothered by this energy, huh?"
"Aah, so we got separated from the rest, huh?" Miranda asked. "And now we’re stranded in this giant castle that that Oda Nobunaga bastard controls... right?"
"Yeah, you guessed it pretty quickly and quite easily," nodded Benladann. "Is Drakda alright?"
"I’m... fine..." Drakda yawned. "I’m hungry... Mama, where’s papa? I want food..."
"That’s what I’m wondering as well, dear, where the hell is your father?" Miranda wondered.
"Drake is currently moving toward here," Andromeda said. "Though he’s also seeking Yuki and Yudra, who he’s most worried about because she’s a little newborn still..."
