Chapter 2462: Epilogue 3: Drake VS Blake
-----
RUMBLE!
Drake and Blake collided, their Auras erupting in a storm that warped space, time, and reality itself.
Drake opened his massive jaws, unleashing torrents of deadly dragon breath that tore gaping holes through Blake's body.
At the same time, Blake conjured thousands of spears forged from immense divine and demonic spiritual power, piercing Drake's scales and flesh in a relentless barrage.
Drake summoned Muramasa and Celestia in their spear forms, channeling his Gungnir Mastery through them with devastating precision.
He charged forward undeterred, clashing against Blake, who countered by calling forth his own twin spears, Gluttony and Envy. They were formidable Spiritual Weapons belonging to him and Eleanora.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
Ripples tore through the void, shredding the dimension with every exchange, their attacks both lethal and catastrophically destructive.
"You're not bad at all, Scarlet King!"
Drake laughed heartily as he smashed his fist into Blake's face, blasting away half his gigantic body in a burst of light. He followed with sweeping tail strikes and a point-blank breath attack that hurled Blake backward.
BOOOM!
"However, you still aren't there yet!"
"You think so?"
"Ah?!"
As Drake obliterated most of Blake's enormous form, a dark shadow materialized behind him. It swiftly transformed into a monstrous bat-like creature with draconic traits.
A corrosive breath of potent poison and acid slammed into Drake, melting scales and searing flesh. Surprise flashed across Drake's face before he retaliated furiously with claws, tail whips, and spells.
He summoned an endless barrage of meteors crystallized from draconic elemental energy, detonating against Blake in thousands of explosions.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Charging through his own onslaught, Drake struck Blake's head, pierced his stomach, and ripped it open. Yet Blake dissolved into shadows, reappearing behind him in a flash of lightning speed. His Aura split into countless phantom clones, all striking simultaneously as spears impaled Drake's body.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
Blake excelled not only at long-range devastation but proved nearly impossible to wound, slipping into intangible elemental forms with ease. His close-quarters mastery far surpassed Drake's own refined techniques.
And yet...
"Not bad, not bad at all! I apologize, Scarlet King! You are truly a worthy opponent!"
Drake roared with exhilaration, his Aura exploding outward. It coalesced into millions of elemental dragons that fused into a colossal hammer, thundering down toward Blake.
"This is ridiculous... heh."
Blake watched the descending strike and smiled faintly. His powers merged into a massive spiraling spear of blood, darkness, and starlight.
"Let's see who is stronger, Dragon King!"
The weapons collided, unleashing an explosion that shook Drake's Dimension to its very foundation.
BOOOMMM!!!
...
From outside, both families witnessed a pocket dimension suddenly form as Drake and Blake vanished inside, battling as though their lives depended on it. Blake fused with hundreds of Vampire Spirits for overwhelming power, while Drake unleashed everything he had sealed away for the past ten years.
The families stared in awe at the opaque bubble. The fight itself remained hidden, yet its intensity reverberated through their senses—their Auras, Divinities, Demonic Authorities, and Laws clashing in furious harmony. Drake's claws rent everything asunder, Blake's magic pierced unbreakable defenses, each overwhelming the other only for a hidden trump card to turn the tide.
"I am so sorry..." Benladann sighed. "My husband adores his peaceful life, yet deep down he's still a hopeless battle maniac."
"Don't worry, we know Blake is exactly the same," Erika laughed lightly. "He claims he wants nothing but tranquility too."
"You're taking this surprisingly well," Ruby observed. "I thought you might be angry with us..."
"Why would we be angry? This is entirely Blake's doing," Elizabeth said with a facepalm. "Whenever he goes all stoic and expressionless, it means he's actually nervous and wound up tight."
"Wait, really? Dad thought he was just being rude... He should try to be a bit more open, maybe?" Drakda muttered.
"Well, your dad could try being less abrasive too," Damien shot back, glaring at Drakda like a rival. "Did he have to crush Father's hand like that? Father's usually so calm—why provoke him?"
"Maybe he provoked my dad because yours was acting cold!" Midra snapped, standing beside her big brother.
"He wasn't being rude...!" Stelle protested. "Father sometimes struggles to show his feelings, but he's gotten so much better!"
"So this is all one giant misunderstanding," the Ice Queen said with a weary facepalm. "Drake won't go too far, so let's just wait. I only wish I were strong enough to stop him myself, but he's unstoppable."
"We feel the same about our Blake," Elizabeth chuckled. "And Eleanora's not here—she rushed in to back him up..."
"Yeah, Mom hates when anyone disrespects Dad," Damien said, arms crossed. "She probably dragged all the Vampire Spirits along. Your dad is done for."
"Hah?!" Drakda growled. "My dad will wipe the floor with yours!"
"Hahaha! Don't make me laugh, blueberry. My dad is way stronger," Damien retorted with booming laughter. "What, wanna test me? I'm not scared." His Aura flared, crimson and black tentacles lined with eyes writhing around him.
"Who are you calling blueberry, you little punk?!" Drakda roared, his own Aura surging as draconic transformation began. "Ever fought a real dragon?!"
"I've crushed a few," Damien smirked.
"You've only beaten the weaklings from your world. We Yggdrasil Dragons are on another level—you're about to learn that!" Drakda bellowed.
Their Auras collided violently as everyone else groaned and facepalmed.
Like father, like son...
"Drakda, stop it!" Benladra grabbed him and dragged him back.
"That's enough, Damien!"
"Yeah!"
Stella and Althea seized Damien and pulled him away too.
"But sis, I was gonna show him!" Drakda grumbled. "Just let me—ugh, let go!"
"No! I told you not to fight our guests, you idiot!" Benladra scolded.
"Cut it out, you two! I can take him—I know I can!" Damien protested.
"Will you ever think before acting, Damien?" Stelle sighed.
"Come on, brother, let's calm down, okay~?" Althea smiled gently, trying to soothe him.
"I'm sorry about that. Boys will be boys, right?" Miranda muttered.
"Yes, we apologize for his recklessness. He's a good son, truly," Benladann added.
"Don't worry, Damien is the same—a great kid underneath it all!" Erika nodded. "Just a bit hot-tempered sometimes, haha."
"I'm sure he means no real harm," Elizabeth said reassuringly.
"Alright! While those two idiots duke it out, let's start the party!" Belle announced, already halfway through a bottle of wine. "Come on, drink, celebrate, dance, eat!"
"Is she drunk already?" the Ice Queen wondered.
"Definitely drunk," Augustus sighed.
Crack, crack...!
Before festivities could begin, cracks spiderwebbed across the bubble. It shattered in an explosion of colorful smoke, the shockwave mercifully contained.
BOOOM!
As everyone coughed and waved away the haze, the smoke cleared to reveal Drake and Blake sprawled on the ground, covered in wounds and burns—yet laughing heartily.
"Hahahaha! You really got me there, Scarlet King! I never saw that coming!"
"I'm honestly impressed, Dragon King. You might be the first man who can take my full strength head-on! Hahah!"
Both families stood speechless, realizing that through this brutal clash, the two battle lovers had forged not only rivalry but genuine friendship.
"Dad! Who won?!" Damien rushed forward as his father rose.
"You won, right, Dad?!" Drakda asked eagerly.
"Who cares who won?" Drake grinned. "It was one hell of a fight!"
"I agree," Blake nodded with a rare warm smile. "Let's get along from now on, Dragon King—no, Drake."
"Likewise, Blake," Drake said, clasping his hand firmly. "See? A good fight fixes everything. You're already more open."
Their sons gaped in disbelief as the rest of the families burst into laughter. The gathering truly began—filled with drinks, delicious food, and countless stories shared.
In that moment, an alliance stronger than any before was born.
