Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3092 Fixing Pills

Chapter 3092 Fixing Pills

The subtle change in the aura of the palace caught Alex's attention while he was in the middle of his cultivation. He spread his attention outside and realized Pearl had begun his breakthrough.

'Finally,' he thought.

It had been over four months now, and finally, Pearl had reached the stage where he was comfortable breaking through.

In that time, Alex had managed to perfect his understanding of the Blank Canvas Pill's aura, so he could now absorb it anytime he wanted without the need for the pill.

Since he started, he had filled more of his Blank Canvas Pill Origin, and it was now at a higher transcendence level than his Tree Origin. That was four of eight Origins done, with the Yellow Fog being next. But first, he had to get his pills dealt with.

Since Pearl was breaking through, he needed to be done with the pills by the time he was done consolidating his cultivation. Once Pearl was done cultivating, Alex could finally leave with Bai Jingshen for his short training.

Alex finished his cultivation session the next day and pulled out all the pills he had to work on converting to nine-veined pills. As the pills gathered before him, he couldn't help but laugh a little at the absurdity of it all.

There were nearly twelve thousand total pills-some he made himself, some that Whisker had made on his own, and the rest were pills he acquired from external sources such as his reward for the Alchemy Competition.

He first separated the pills by their types, then by their quality, and by their composition. Once done, he began working on them.

He started with pills that hadn't reached 100% harmony but had

perfect composition, as they would be the easiest to deal with.

Grabbing one in his fist, Alex used the Divine Elemental Accord technique to quickly fill up the remaining pill. When the pill filled and pill clouds were ready to form, he made the pill clouds appear just inside his room.

There was no way he was going to create pill clouds twelve thousand times in the span of the next few days. That would likely cause a bigger scene than what he did back in the Vermilion Bird's Palace.

Alex protected the pill from the nine pill lightnings, and once it was over, he moved on to the next one. He lifted the second pill in his fist and worked his technique once again.

When the second pill was done, Alex stopped for a moment, frowning.

"This is taking too long. Memory!"

Memory appeared out of his Soul Space and landed before him.

With a flick of Alex's wrist, Memory split apart into five copies, each one as real as the rest. With another flick of his wrist, Alex sent a pill into each of the copies and took another pill in his right fist.

He began filling the pill in his right fist, while with his left hand, he poured out his energy toward the cauldrons.

Immediately, all five copies of Memory activated, each one understanding what it was that they needed to do. They replicated Alex's Divine Elemental Accord technique, each cauldron beginning to fill the pills all on their own.

As the pills reached 100% harmony and pill clouds began to form, Alex sent out his Blood Aura to protect them. When the nine pill lightnings came through, Alex was done with six pills at the same time.

Realizing it had worked, Alex continued.

Making six pills at a time, Alex very quickly got through the pills that just needed some improvement. The task itself was so simple that he

found himself getting distracted since he barely had anything to focus

on.

The technique did all the work by itself, so he was mostly free to let his mind wander.

His wandering mind led him to think about the pill lightning again, making him consider taking it as his Creation. He could feel the split-second aura that landed on his pill and knew that he could very likely copy it if he spent a lot of time with it.

It would slow his cultivation speed by a drastic level, but for something like this, that was fine.

However, the possibility of other tribulation lightnings being stronger caused Alex to stop from making a conclusive decision.

It was then that his mind wandered into a new territory he hadn't thought about yet. As the lightning fell from the clouds above, he considered how difficult it would be in the split second he had to learn the lightning bolt's aura and then replicate it.

He then wondered if he could slow down time considerably, making the lightning bolts linger for a long time. If they were always there, it would be so much easier.

As that thought crossed his mind, he thought of something that always lingered around when the lightning fell.

The clouds.

As soon as the idea crossed Alex's mind, his eyes narrowed and he sat

up straighter.

'The pill clouds! They're the ones that drop the lightning in the first place, he thought. 'What if I don't have to copy the lightning and can instead copy the aura of the clouds themselves?"

Alex stood up immediately, letting his senses reach the clouds that were inside the room. It was very, very subtle at first, but he quickly noticed an aura that the clouds contained.

He didn't have to use the other technique to create an aura out of it since the cloud permanently existed above him.

"The clouds are the source of the lightning anyway, Alex thought, growing quite a bit curious. "There must be some sort of intent working on it to cause it to gather energy for a lightning bolt, right? Maybe I can mimic it if I study it enough!'

The thought stirred something inside Alex, slowly changing his mind away from the lightning and opening up the possibility that maybe it should be the clouds that became his Creation.

'But should it be Pill Clouds? Or should I go for Immortal Tribulation clouds?' he wondered for a moment before his eyes narrowed even further as another thought struck.

'Are they even different in the first place?'
