Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3183 Found

Chapter 3183 Found

2 weeks ago, Pearl had been in the middle of a cultivation session when he felt a strange pulse coming from deep within him. At first, he hadn't the faintest idea as to what the pulse was, but as days went on, it got stronger and stronger.

Slowly, memories of the past surfaced in his mind, back when he was but a young cub who lay hidden in Alex's beast space for most of his time. The pulse was the same back then.

The pulse that had brought on a beast tide in the Crimson Empire. The pulse that searched for a White Tiger.

'Shit!' Pearl thought and immediately stopped cultivating. The White Tigers had finally gotten desperate, it appeared, and decided to use something to find him.

He ran from the location, away from the direction of where the pulse came from. Each step took him hundreds of meters away, letting him travel miles in just a few seconds.

And yet, the pulse grew stronger.

At one point, he attempted to hide in a temporary spatial pocket that he created on his own. However, it didn't seem to matter. The pulse went through space itself, locating him.

After running for what was over half a day, Pearl finally stopped. It was apparent to him now that his pursuers had set their targets on him and they wouldn't let go any time soon.

Running would only eat away at his Qi, leaving him weak and primed for his pursuers to attack when they finally caught up to him. Pearl would rather stay and fight than do that.

He waited at the base of a tall mountain, watching in the distance as the pulse grew stronger. His spear had appeared to his side some time ago, as he prepared for a fight against whoever this was.

Pearl expected someone strong to find him. What he hadn't expected was a ship full of White Tigers and their subordinates. His eyes widened slightly at the sight that lay before him.

Over 2 dozen White Tigers climbed out of the ship, each slowly surrounding him in a half circle, the mountain standing behind him. Pearl looked through them all, counting each and every one of them.

'29 White Tigers and 12 Potential White Tigers. The ones with white fur and black stripes were obviously White Tigers, but it was not as if they were the only ones that could be. One didn't need to appear as a White Tiger to be one, so Pearl couldn't be certain in any way.

A golden artifact flew in front of one of the White Tigers, multiple rings moving around it in a pattern. Pearl could feel some sort of tug toward it with each pulse.

It was the artifact that had led them to him.

'Most are in the Immortal Origin and Transcendent realm,' Pearl thought. 'But those three are in the Immortal Spirit realm!'

The White Tiger that carried the artifact and two others by his side were the strongest of the bunch.

"The main one especially is strong, Pearl thought with no small hint of surprise. His cultivation base was in the high Immortal Spirit realm.

Everyone else remained silent while the leader of the group stepped forward. "Transform," he commanded in a low voice.

Pearl narrowed his eyes. "What?"

"Show us your real form," the beast said again. "We need to confirm something."

"Oh? And what would that be?" Pearl asked in a mocking tone.

The tiger narrowed his gaze. "We-"

Pearl's spear moved before the tiger could finish his words. It was a planned attack, targeting the tiger's head, carrying all the strength he could muster.

And yet, the tiger reacted before Pearl's attack reached, his body glowing golden as the attack did nothing at all. It didn't even make him blink.

Pearl frowned a little, realizing how weak his attacks truly were against this beast. The White Tiger before him didn't just have a cultivation base of Immortal Spirit 7th realm, but he also had a similarly powerful body cultivation.

The current Pearl had no method of stopping any of that.

The tiger's golden glow vanished, leaving behind an unimpressed expression. "If you want to fight, I will give you a fight."

Pearl saw the tiger blur in an instant, arriving next to him. Had Pearl not been prepared to dodge any incoming attack, he might not have even gotten away.

He teleported right as the attack came, moving higher up the

mountain.

The tiger stopped in the rubble of his own creation and looked up at Pearl with shining eyes.

"Thank you for the confirmation," the tiger said. "We've finally found you. Took us only 8 years to do so."

Pearl frowned, realizing his mistake. He shouldn't have teleported, but then what other choice did he have in this situation? There was no

way for him to fight someone this strong.

He could already sense some sort of barrier expanding around the area, covering most of the mountain and the forest that lay behind. The non-White Tigers had already prepared a death trap for him. Just 2 more years,' Pearl thought. '2 more years and I could've gotten away safely. That stupid artifact!'

He was annoyed. How come they had only waited until now to use that artifact? Had they been using it all over and only just managed to

find him?

His eyes moved from the tiger, finding the ship they had come in. There, on the bow of the ship, he saw a black wolf standing.

Pearl's eyes widened slightly, recognizing the beast.

Truefangs.

Things fell into place, puzzle pieces coming together to form a clear

picture. They hadn't found him. They had been led here.

"You found him. Who do I talk to about my reward?" the wolf asked someone close by when he saw Pearl vanish.

Pearl teleported, arriving as close to the ship as he could. The moment he arrived, he used his strongest technique.

Five Heavenly Forms of Spear - Fifth Form: Heavenly Descent of the

Spear

Pearl became a meteor, crossing the remaining distance in a flash as

his spear met the wolf.

Truefangs died in an instant, not a single thought crossing his mind when his body turned into mist.
