Chapter 3196 An Average Man
Chapter 3196 An Average Man
Until Pearl and Alex were gone, safe from the White Tigers there, Bai Jingshen had to remain level-headed and protect the two from them. However, now that they were gone, he could finally let himself get angry.
He had waited until the confirmation that the dead White Tigers had indeed come for Pearl, and now that he had, he was ready to fight back.
His entire body trembled in fury as he stared directly into Bai Caoyang's eyes with unhidden madness.
"What did you say?" Bai Caoyang asked, he too angry over not getting his revenge when he had the opportunity.
"You heard me," Bai Jingshen said. "Have you any idea the sort of situation you've placed yourself in?"
The other beasts beside Bai Caoyang moved, their attention now fully on Bai Jingshen since he had allowed their children's killers to escape.
"Don't think you're getting away scot-free just because you were not involved," Bai Gouyung said. "The way I see it, you're just as much to blame as those others you let escape."
"Shut your trap, you bitch," Bai Jingshen shouted, no longer hiding behind the faux-respect he put on for his seniors. This bitch didn't even deserve that anymore. "You sent thirty of your children after my great-grandson. You hear me? MY great-grandson. Mine. So let me ask you this."
He stepped closer, a guttural sound escaping his throat as he spoke in a low voice. "Do you think you are getting away scot-free?"
Bai Gouyung found herself stepping back in fear. She didn't know why she feared him. He was only a junior, and yet the shock of the entire situation left her scared.
Bai Caoyang snorted loudly. "You think you are safe from all repercussions just because you have a stronger bloodline than ours? You will soon know that bloodline is not the only thing that matters in this life."
The world around Bai Jingshen changed, the beasts that were in the surrounding area running away in fear. Bai Jingshen saw thousands of illusory claws form around his surroundings, each brimming with unmistakably powerful energy, ready to crash down on him.
Bai Caoyang revealed the full might of his Divine Domain realm. His Creation, a sharp metal claw artifact that strapped around his real claw, was now duplicated and spread around in a domain.
"As your uncle in the family, I shall give you this lesson," Bai Caoyang said. "Simply having a strong bloodline doesn't make you strong. Without a stronger cultivation base, bloodline or no bloodline, you will die the same."
Bai Jingshen watched, not moving an inch.
The other White Tigers grinned with a snarl on their faces, happy to see someone hurt.
"I won't kill you," Bai Caoyang said. "But you deserve this lesson."
All sharp metal claws that formed around Bai Jingshen converged instantly, crashing down on him. Bai Caoyang knew full well that the strength he had placed his domain at was strong enough to kill anyone below the Divine Manifestation realm in an instant.
Bai Caoyang wasn't even sure if Bai Jingshen could defend himself against attacks of such power, but he found it hard to care. They had life-saving healing pills anyway, so as long as he wasn't dead, he would be fine from any punishment for this lesson.
That was the thought Bai Caoyang had, and he had even expected to see some wounds on Bai Jingshen's body, even if he somehow
managed to not be fazed by that attack.
However, what he hadn't expected was to see the man completely
scratchless.
Bai Caoyang blinked for a moment, making sure he was seeing things right. It was in fact a man, and not a beast.
Where Bai Jingshen stood before was now a human man.
He wanted to believe Bai Jingshen had transformed, but how could this be the result? A White Tiger transforming into a human usually resulted in a man of tall stature, fair looks, and long golden locs.
However, this human was smaller than a White Tiger's human form would be, had an average look to him, and most importantly had short
dark hair.
"Is that it?" the man spoke, and everyone realized that it was in fact Bai Jingshen who had transformed into this human.
"What... what is this?" Bai Caoyang asked, surprised.
"You don't know?" Bai Jingshen asked, stepping forward. "Don't worry. As a nephew in the family, I will give you a lesson as well."
He stepped in closer, walking through Bai Caoyang's domain. "Sometimes, a strong cultivation base also doesn't make you strong," Bai Jingshen said, stepping in closer. "Sometimes, there are strengths that come from nowhere. And these are strengths no cultivation base
can conquer."
Faster than teleportation itself, Bai Jingshen appeared before Bai Caoyang, his hand already balled into a fist, and he punched the tiger
in the jaw.
The tiger's jaw shattered in an instant, its brain rattled from the hit. The Divine Domain 1st realm beast fell unconscious with that single
hit.
Bai Jingshen turned toward the other seven White Tigers. "You need this lesson too, don't you?" he asked.
He arrived before Bai Gouyung, upon whom a golden armor Creation was already forming.
Bai Jingshen punched her in the armor, shattering it in a single hit, delivering a strong mental blow along with the force that landed on her body. She cried out in pain, as if doing anything else would let her
die.
The rest of the tigers weren't better off. Bai Jingshen didn't even need much strength to beat these ones, but he did, knocking them all down
in no time at all.
In no more than twenty seconds since he first attacked, Bai Jingshen had the entire group down on the ground, groaning in pain.
"Be thankful that we're not in a lawless region, or else I would've killed you. I'll leave the rest of the punishment to the patriarch!"
Bai Jingshen turned around and transformed back into his tiger form,
before jumping upon a ship he brought out. He looked one last glance at the eight there and then left the Fighting Island.
