Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3210 An Alchemy Store

Chapter 3210 An Alchemy Store

The improvement in Alex's cultivation speed was more than subtle, leading Alex to grow quite excited. He hadn't cultivated properly since he tested his Unity back in the Black Tortoise Palace, so having tested it again, there was definitely a change.

This was even more confirmation that spirit roots did have something to do with Unity and cultivation talent. Now Alex only needed to figure out what the correlation was. That was the test he was going to have to prepare for a long time from now.

Bai Jingshen's wife had come and waited for Alex, so he met up with her and left to go gather some pill ingredients. He desperately needed ingredients for two specific pills that he couldn't wait around for. The first was the pill he had created in the Black Tortoise Palace that allowed him to communicate with the progenitors. It converged his spiritual energy, condensing it to a point where it was stronger than even some Divine energy. He needed those very senses again.

The second pill was something he received from one of the dragons back in the Fighting Island. It was the Neutral Immortal Tribulation pill: a pill that allowed a person who had recently gone through Immortal Tribulation to erase all traces of that aura, allowing them to retake the test without the heaven punishing them for how soon it

was.

In a way, it was a pill that erased heaven's memory. Along with the earlier pill, Alex was hopeful that he would finally gain some insight into the various secrets that were hidden within the heavenly clouds.

The alchemy shops within the White Tiger Palace were very different from what Alex was imagining them to be. To his surprise, there were no items on display at all. All he could see were staff members that were willing to talk to the people and help them with what they wanted.

If they knew the names of the pills or ingredients, that made things easier. But even without that, these workers could help them easily. Since the White Tiger Palace housed more than just the White Tigers, not all the shops there belonged to them.

A significant number of the shops instead belonged to some random beast family that paid a small portion of the profit to the White Tigers for letting them stay there.

As Alex and Beihan entered, more than a few heads turned in their direction. He could understand how uncommon it was for them to see humans at all. Quite a few senses landed on him, trying to discern more about him. More than one among them were Divine senses.

Alex frowned slightly. "Is it not considered rude to use your senses on someone?" he asked Beihan mentally.

"It's only rude if they're your peers. If you're weak, anything goes," Beihan answered.

Alex supposed that was the case. Still, he couldn't understand what the point was of constantly scanning him.

"Have they not seen a human before? I've been here for a while now."

"Each time you were with my husband or Pearl. They won't dare try to look into you when you're with White Tigers. But when you're alone, they dare," she said. "Also, I doubt any of them actually think you're a human right now. The easier thing for them to understand is that you are nothing more than an outsider who is trying to hide your identity. They're trying to find out what sort of beast you are!"

"Oh!" Alex said, a part of him already finding that amusing. "I wonder what they think I am."

Alex could only giggle inwardly as he imagined numerous beasts trying to figure out whether he was an Azure Dragon or a Black Tortoise in disguise.

"Senior Beihan, how can we help you?" a voice took Alex out of his thoughts.

"My friend here requires some ingredients from-"

A gust of wind cut off Beihan as she stepped back in surprise, staring at the thing that had suddenly appeared between her and the staff member.

A giant green ape now stood there, Divine realm cultivation aura streaming off of it.

Alex stepped forward, standing before Beihan. She was far too weak

to involve herself in this scenario should there be a danger. He stared at the ape, hoping to figure out whether it was angry for some reason, or had come for other reasons.

However, the expressionless look on its face made it impossible for Alex to discern any emotion. He was about to speak when Beihan's

voice came.

"It's okay," she quickly said, stepping away from behind Alex. She looked at the ape and bowed slightly. "Greetings, senior."

Alex continued staring, saying nothing.

Beihan finally explained. "He is Senior Kong Mujing, owner of this alchemy shop."

Alex nodded, but didn't step back. There was an explanation for who he was, but not an explanation for what he wanted. Appearing before the two of them in this manner could not have been coincidental.

"Will the two of you come with me?" the ape asked.

Alex frowned slightly and turned toward Beihan. She gave a slight nod, and only then did Alex nod as well.

If Beihan thought it wasn't dangerous, then maybe it wasn't. Even if it was, Alex could just teleport the two of them away. After that, the ape would have to deal with a rather angry Bai Jingshen.

They left the store's hall, arriving at a more secular location.

Alex felt the various senses around him vanish as he walked into the

room, finding a formation keeping everything else at bay. He couldn't wait to find out what he had come here for.

"So," Alex said. "What can I do for you?"

The ape finally showed a sliver of emotion, a look of enthusiasm mixed with curiosity. "I would like to purchase a pill recipe from you,"

the ape said.

Alex blinked for a second, realizing the request was meant for him. He couldn't help but give a dry chuckle.

"I'm sorry, but I think you're mistaken on which one among us is a customer, and which one actually owns the store."
