Chapter 3213 Something Else

Alex couldn't be sure that the Yellow Fog within his Soul Space was the same as the one within his Spiritual Sea. All he knew was that they acted the same.

In a way, the fog in his Soul Space was even better than the one in his Spiritual Sea since it affected more than just the spirit of the thing it devoured. Similar to how his body did it, it consumed matter itself, absorbing the energy that was inside of it.

In that way, it was different from the other Yellow Fog. That was more than good enough for Alex, so he began creating aura from it to absorb. As the aura formed before him, slowly moving through his meridians to reach his mind, something happened.

Alex sensed the aura more carefully as it was about to enter his Spiritual Sea and found it quite different from the aura he had created earlier. He stopped for a while, made sure he wasn't making a mistake, but nothing more came out of his search, so he continued.

He began absorbing the aura into his Origin, erasing the minor pill aura it had, filling it with the Yellow Fog's aura. As he got more used to it, he continued for over a day before his Qi finally ran out.

When he was done, Alex went into his Spiritual Sea to check the two Origins. It was clear before he began his investigation that the two Origins were far from the same.

The older Origin that was covered in Yellow Fog gave off a very unique aura that Alex couldn't explain. This latest one was closer to the Yellow Fog aura he had created before with his mental energy, but with some difference.

One of the things that was different was that the Yellow Fog in his Soul Space for some reason did not give a complete feeling of devouring and destruction like the one in his mind did. A lot of it was that, but there was a part of it that was the exact opposite for some reason. As if it was....

Alex's eyes widened suddenly as he realized something he hadn't even thought about to begin with.

"Wait a second!"

He quickly removed himself from his Spiritual Sea and arrived outside where he checked upon the Yellow Fog in his Soul Space one more time. A minute passed and then another.

And then, Alex finally pulled out his spiritual sense, realizing a mistake he had made in absorbing the Yellow Fog's aura. Because he had created the Yellow Fog in his Soul Space and copied the aura from there, he had gotten the Yellow Fog's aura, but along with it had come something else as well.

Something that was ambient inside his Soul Space. Ever-present. Life Aura.

His Origin that was only meant to be one of Yellow Fog was more than just that. It now carried with it pure Life Aura as well.

Alex could amend it. It was only one session of absorbing it, so he could take better care the next time around and change it completely. However, Alex wasn't sure he wanted to.

It was a mistake, sure, but was it a bad thing?

If he continued, his Yellow Fog Creation wouldn't only have the power to destroy and devour things, but also the power to give it life. Alex could not imagine the situation being better without it.

He smiled, finding the happy little accident to work in his favor.

"I should still keep my eyes on things, but this should work fine, right?" Alex thought. That was his 5th Origin dealt with. Now he just needed a secular place where he could create an opening to the Void without alerting every Divinity and Celestial in the realm, and he would be happy.

Maybe there were Voidgates here already that he could use. He would have to ask around about it.

Pearl remained with his father for most of the days, so Alex didn't have much to do on his own. Bai Jingshen returned once, but only to inform that he had managed to send Qing Tianchui's mother a message asking her to come. He hadn't brought back a core just yet.

So, Alex was left alone to cultivate and absorb more aura.

For months, Alex continued in secluded cultivation, spending his time between gaining Qi and then expending it to transcend his Origins. His Blank Canvas Pill and Yellow Fog Origins progressed at a steady

rate.

During these times, something else was beginning to happen that Alex couldn't understand just yet. At first, he was certain he was misreading the aura, but as time went on and he cultivated more and more, it became apparent that he was correct.

The first Origin of his that was covered in Yellow Fog was beginning

to regress. From being at a state that made him imagine it was complete, it had regressed to a point where it could only be

considered nearly complete.

Alex wondered how much worse it would get once he continued his cultivation even more. He could not understand what was happening

just yet.

There were a few possibilities in his mind, such as him absorbing

other auras, him forming a Creation out of Yellow Fog, him advancing in his cultivation, or even just the protection of the Yellow Fog failing as time went on.

As for what the correct reason was, Alex would likely not know for a

long time.

Nearly 8 months passed since Pearl's father was given life when Bai Jingshen finally visited again, this time bringing the beast core along

with him.

"I had to go through hoops to get this," he said as he handed the core to Alex. The core clearly belonged to a White Tiger, but on top of that,

it also belonged to a beast in the Immortal Spirit realm.

It was a rather high-quality beast core.

"I had to depart with quite a bit of treasure to allow the family to sell

this to me," Bai Jingshen said. "Make sure it works perfectly."
