Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3317 Void

Chapter 3317 Void

Alex called Ray back to the edge of the barrier where the Sun Fire lay. The crow returned swiftly, arriving in his massive form once again.

"Congratulations on learning a new Dao, master," he said upon arrival. "I can foresee a future where you do learn the Sun Fire all by yourself."

Alex smiled a little. "Thanks," he said and brought out something from his Soul Space.

Five glowing Sunhearts appeared in his hands, the strongest ones he could find among the tens of thousands he had gathered in Hell during the many years he had spent learning about the Void.

Those Sunhearts came from some of the strongest beasts that stayed around the edge of the spatial wall that separated them from the inside where the Tree of Life lay.

Alex handed the Sunhearts over to the crow. "Here are the Yang Cores you asked for. I assume you have many beast cores to work with? I saw that many beasts died in the trials after all."

"There are plenty to work with, master," Ray said. "I shall prepare the imprinting process right away. Once the Yang imprints form, I shall add them into the Sun Fire. Is there a special location you would like me to place it at?"

Alex shrugged. "Anywhere is fine. The top of the hill, or one of the torches on the edges. Your wish."

The crow nodded. "I shall contact you in a few days when I'm ready to create it."

With that, the crow vanished, leaving Alex alone. Finally, he was ready to learn the Void and the Heavenly Clouds.

The Heavenly Clouds would take some time, so he first decided to start with the Void, since that required him to do nothing more than

make an opening.

He had already gone through the Provenance Duality: Evolution technique in his free time too, so he knew it would be useless for him. Only Scarlet and Whisker could make use of it, which he had let them know already.

With a thought, Midnight flew out from his Soul Space, landing in his hands. Alex took a deep breath as he targeted empty space near him and then swung his sword.

Limitless Void Slash

An imperceptibly thin crack formed in the fabric of reality as it slowly tore open to reveal a tiny hole through which the swirling colors of purple and silver spilled out into the green grass.

Alex could already feel the aura from the Void seeping out of the crack, but to his surprise, the crack didn't open any further than that. In fact, it began reversing itself, slowly closing in.

'Shit!' Alex quickly grabbed the edges of the tear in space before they fully closed up, keeping it open. Because he hadn't attempted to use any spatial dao while inside this place, where the energy of two dead Primordials had no doubt strengthened the space around it.

With some simple force on his part and some spatial aura, Alex split the opening further wide, revealing the true majesty of the Void that lay behind.

Once he tore it fully open, he half inserted his body to keep it from closing back up and sat down in the same way as he began absorbing the aura that seeped out from there.

Alex could already sense the various types of Space and Time aura that he hadn't learned the Dao for. Despite not knowing the dao, he could already tell the difference between them as well.

The Dao of Spatial Awareness was one he was growing better at understanding, while also learning a few things about the Dao of Spatial Release and the Dao of Stationary Space. Aside from that, Alex

could sense one final space dao that he couldn't even begin to understand what it was.

On the side of the Time Dao, he still had trouble separating just how many Daos there were exactly. Were there four more Daos he hadn't learned, or five? And he didn't know what they were either.

As Alex found himself getting distracted with those thoughts, he quickly found a problem he hadn't even considered would be a

problem.

The Void was supposed to be the easiest of his Creations to gain, as all he had to do was absorb the aura that came out of it directly. However, because he was so talented and had learned so many space and time daos, he had a hard time not separating each aura in his

mind.

As such, it became difficult for him to see the Void for itself, instead of being the sum of its parts.

And so long as he couldn't imagine the Void as a single thing, he

couldn't absorb it all.

That was quite annoying.

'I need to see the Void as one object, Alex told himself. 'Just one. One!'

Even as he tried to, however, it wasn't so easy to see something made of so many individual parts as one whole object.

Just the separation of space and time in itself made things difficult. This was no different than absorbing the Sun Fire and Sun Wraiths together, only Ray was there to help it meld as one.

Void, however, would be difficult to make one.

Alex struggled with the issue for some time. He was also somewhat

surprised by how his perception on the matter itself was hindering his progress. Had he been a regular individual, things might have been

easier.

But then, they would also have a hard time breaking down the aura of

the Void and would completely fail.

It was a situation where you failed if you weren't talented, and failed if you were talented. There was no winning.

Alex wasn't going to give up though.

As he continued, Shumi finally asked to leave his Soul Space. She was

done exploring it for now.

With a thought, Shumi appeared next to him, a step away from the opening to the Void.

She blinked for a second. "Why is there a Voidgate here?" "It's not a-" Alex paused mid-explanation before turning to look at the opening as his eyes widened slightly. "Voidgate? That could work."
