Chapter 3332 Do What Heaven Cannot

Chapter 3332 Do What Heaven Cannot

Shumi couldn't help but wonder if the Heaven was truly alive. Was it alive, or was it just an autonomous entity acting entirely on the Intent left over by the two gods when they died?

If the former were the case, then was she a mother to the Heavens too, just like the Primordials and the Trees were?

If the latter was the case, then could it perhaps be considered the True Gods themselves?

The Sun God and Moon Goddess weren't individuals with power. They were power manifested as individuals; they had said as much. In that case, if they had spent a majority of their power to create the Heaven, then... wasn't the Heaven just them?

Maybe it wasn't their exact mind and soul, but perhaps an incarnation of them? Did that place her closer to being a sibling to the Heaven?

Each time Alex formed Pill Clouds, she tried to find the answer to these questions, but she came out empty-handed. There was just no way for her to find anything about Heaven when it was so overwhelming to even try and look into.

Just the leftover Intent was so strong for her.

Since it was difficult to find answers, her mind slowly drifted toward other thoughts.

Now that she understood Heaven's entire purpose, she understood perfectly how important the Heaven was. Nothing could be more important than recycling the Qi and keeping the people safe, even if it meant being ruthless to cultivators who may not have deserved it.

Her promise to the Moon Goddess kept going through her mind again and again. This was what she had told the Moon Goddess she would do. She would help people. She would save them.

She would put the planet back together.

The Heaven wasn't meant for that task. There simply wasn't enough energy within Heaven to complete such an absurdly difficult matter, which was why she was needed.

She, as the Moon Goddess, could do what the Heaven could not.

But that required so much more strength than what she had. She couldn't even imagine the amount of this unique energy she would need to do it. Could she even do it alone? Wouldn't she need Alex's help?

She turned toward Alex, who was focused on making pills. No, she couldn't rely on him. She wanted to, but she needed to work under the assumption that she was alone, that there would never be another Sun God.

'An Undying God, yes, but not the Sun God, Shumi thought as she grew resolute.

As Shumi wondered about the gods, her mind went toward the so-called Half-Gods of the humans. How strong were they? Could she perhaps use their powers?

'If we can forgo our differences and come together, could we save this world?'

Shumi had hope. If it was for such a reason, surely the people would be willing to help her too.

She would have to talk about it with her master and see what he said. She was far too weak to have any influence just yet, so there was no point in worrying about that for now. At this point, all she had to do was improve herself.

She stayed with Alex for many months as he continued to make pills, using that time to train her Intent. After over half a year of this, however, Alex finally stopped making pills as, that day, the necessity disappeared.

Alex lifted his hand in the air before him, aura filling the space between them as he created it all with the technique to replicate aura

from something there was little of.

As the aura came to be, Shumi sensed it with her spiritual sense and raised an eyebrow in surprise as there was absolutely not a single thing about it that was different from the aura in the sky above her.

That was the aura of the Heavenly Clouds.

"I did it!" he said one day, a brilliantly happy smile on his face. "I really

did it."

"Really?" Shumi asked, her eyes wide open.

"Yes!" Alex said as he walked up to her and took her into his embrace, kissing her. It was a while before he stepped back, still laughing out loud. "Finally, I have my eighth and final Creation."

Shumi couldn't help but smile for him. "That's incredible, Alex," she said. "I'm so happy for you."

Alex grinned, unable to keep his emotions in check.

He rested for a few days, finally spending some time with Shumi without Memory right there. At the tail end of it, he reached out to the others in his Soul Space and saw how they were doing. Scarlet was in deep cultivation, trying to absorb the aura from the Three-Legged Crow's corpse. She was apparently struggling with it, saying that she didn't have enough talent to absorb all of it. She tried her damn hardest, though, but one couldn't make up for a lack of

talent with anything else.

Whisker was different. There just was no way to ruin the absorption of a Beast Core when filling one's Origin, so he was going through it at a steady rate. He was also working on his second Creation, which he

promised was progressing quite well.

The older Alex and Emily had both broken through to the True Realms by now and were well on their way to entering the Saint realm, although that wouldn't happen right away.

Alex took them out of the Soul Space and placed them outside, where

they would have to learn the Dao on their own. Dao pills sadly only affected Saints, so he needed to wait before they could eat them, but he did leave them both with paintings he had made which contained the Dao of Water and the Dao of Wood, which would hopefully turn out to be useful.

At that point, all that was left for him to do was to push himself into absorbing all the aura out there.

That was all he planned on doing now, until the day he had to leave

this realm.
