Chapter 3333 Slow and Steady Progress

Since Alex was now done making pills and learning about the Heavenly Clouds, Shumi was finally free to do what she wanted. She had been to his Soul Space and back many times, but she hadn't yet gotten a chance to do anything for an extensive period of time.

It had been nearly two years since they first entered this place, and from the start, Alex had wanted her to take some time to consume the fruits from the Tree of Life. Only now did she have that opportunity.

"You've helped me a lot with the Pill Clouds these past year and a half," Alex told Shumi with a thankful look. "Just take your time absorbing the Elixir first, and then consume those fruits bit by bit, however many you can."

Shumi nodded slowly. "These were the fruits you got from Hell, were they not?" she asked. "I hope I'm not overstepping my boundaries by taking them."

"You're not," Alex said with a smile. "The Tree of Life would want you to have them as well. Besides, the tree gave me 21 total fruits, and I've only managed to use up 10 of them. I still have 11 to spare. You use what you can, I will share the rest with my family when I find them."

Shumi finally agreed and entered his Soul Space, ready to take the Elixir.

Once she was gone, Alex was finally alone and ready to throw himself into the grueling task of absorbing as much as he could into his Origins.

There were some that required a greater priority than others, so he quickly came up with a list of what it was that was necessary for him to complete.

First of all, the one that was of the highest importance to him was the Sun. Even if he did end up doing what he was planning and took this entire island into his Soul Space, absorbing aura from within it

wouldn't be the same as being right next to it and taking it all in through his entire body.

As such, the Sun was Alex's highest priority in terms of his Creation.

After that was the Heavenly Clouds or the Nine Yang Divine Tree, in any order. They were both the least filled Creations of his, which was why it was necessary for him to push them both to the minimum threshold required to allow him to break through to the next realm as quickly as possible.

Beyond that, the rest could be absorbed in any order. Yellow Fog, Blank Canvas Pill, and the Voidgate Creations had either crossed the threshold, or were close to it, so he could do it whenever he wanted to. Instead, before those, he needed to get to the Sun Fire and convert it into his own flame.

Since the Sun Fire would be hidden inside his Soul Space as well, he felt it important to get as much as he could while he was here.

After all of that, he could finally start the other things he had kept on hold, such as filling up his Blood Devil, finding ways to improve existing Blood Beasts, testing the connection between Unity and Spirit Roots, etc.

Those could absolutely only be done after he left this place, though. Alex went over to the Sun and started absorbing its aura. Being this close, he could truly appreciate how much aura he was absorbing. Based on his comparison to the other auras he had absorbed, the Sun was his fastest Origin filled yet.

That was, of course, not counting Godslayer and the Dragon Father. With other Intents being involved in filling themselves into his Origin, they would obviously be the fastest.

The Sun was only the fastest of the remaining six.

Once Alex was brought to the edge of emptiness from the Sun, he stepped away from the barrier and sat down to cultivate and start absorbing the Heavenly Clouds.

For the Heavenly Clouds, he didn't need a source. He had already learned the aura after months of trial and error, so he could create it directly in front of him and absorb it all into his body.

That most certainly slowed down the rate of his cultivation sessions, but there was little else Alex could do. Cultivating while filling his

Origin would certainly be slow.

Once he was done filling up his Heavenly Clouds Origin, he returned back to the Sun, and so began the back and forth.

After three more turns of that, which took a month in total, Alex switched the Heavenly Clouds for the Nine Yang Divine Tree for another month.

As Alex started absorbing the aura of the tree, once again the Yang Source in his Dantian started pouring its aura along with the tree. Together, they mixed and entered his Origin, forming whatever it was that they formed.

Alex wasn't even sure if the result of that would be a tree or not, but he had hope that it would be a tree. In fact, he expected it to be a tree better than the Nine Yang Divine Tree.

Alex alternated between the Creations every month, slowly absorbing everything at a steady rate. He absorbed the Nine Yang Divine Tree at a faster rate than the Heavenly Clouds, mostly because he didn't have to use his Qi to absorb the aura and could thus spend a longer time directly absorbing its aura.

By the time he felt he had elevated his Origins to an acceptable rate, over three years had already passed, for a total of five years.

And he wasn't the only one who had made such improvements in that

time.

Having cultivated in the time chambers, Scarlet and Whisker had also filled their Origins by a decent degree.
