Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3473: A Phenomenon

Chapter 3473: A Phenomenon

Within the next few hours, there was enough of a change in the flow of the unique energy inside of Alex’s dantian that he recognized his actions as having a positive effect on his godly status.

It sadly wasn’t as big as it was with the beasts, but that was to be expected since there were thousands of beasts out there, while only a few hundred humans over here.

If cultivation base had anything to do with it as well, then these people were even weaker than the beasts. However, there was enough of an improvement that Alex wondered if being human helped with the energy in some way.

Or was it the proximity that helped him?

Alex helped the people settle down and gave them a few things that they were lacking during their settlement period. Once they were more or less fully settled, he took away the Playground.

There was still the formation outside, which would be blocking the vision of everyone that might be paying attention to this place. Even if they were not, just hours ago there was nothing here, and now there was.

The sudden appearance of these people would certainly be suspicious to many, so Alex decided to mislead anyone who might be curious enough.

He flew into the air, going as high as he could without crossing the formation barrier, and began using his space dao.

With a thought, the space around him churned like a raging ocean next to a cliffside. The space tore and rejoined and molded and folded and unraveled within itself for a while, creating a phenomenon that would be shocking to even those that weren’t checking up on it.

After making such a noise, he went back down and dealt with the weaker tribesmen who had hardly noticed anything at all.

After a few more hours, it was time for Alex to return. He went through everything these people could have needed and concluded that he had helped them all he could.

He had left them enough food, enough pills, enough clothes, and enough books to improve their lives from here on out.

With the Wine God being behind him, these people would be safe. The Alchemy God would probably not find out about them for a long time too, which would help keep them safe.

If anyone were to ask them how they had come here, they could tell all the truth they wanted, and none would ever find out. It would be determined by the rest that Alex had somehow teleported them here from outside after his performance earlier.

After determining all of that, Alex finally put down the barrier and prepared to leave.

Several people had already gathered on the outskirts of the village, all confused and curious about the location inside. Many of them were Immortals, but there were a few Divinities among them that were truly curious.

Alex couldn’t be certain if they were just curious about what had happened there, or if they recognized him and thus wanted to capture him, so he didn’t give any of them any chances.

Instantly, he brought out a small insignia Wineshard had provided him with before he left the hotel.

"I am here on authority of the Wine God," he said as he showed the insignia. "These people are under my protection, and thus under the protection of the Wine God. They have just been relocated here from somewhere else, so please give them their privacy and leave this place."

He then looked to the Wine God’s people, giving them a command. "Please resume your duties and keep an eye on these people."

They had been given the task to help with their settlement after all.

The Wine God’s people quickly nodded and set up a small unofficial perimeter around the Cailan tribe, doing the job that was assigned to them.

Many of the rest left, except for a few Divinities who stuck around.

Alex could tell they had recognized him. Realizing that they wouldn’t back off so easily, he instead flew straight toward the few Divinities.

He stopped once he was close enough and looked directly into the eyes of all the Divinities. He showed the insignia again.

"You must have recognized me, so I shall give you one opportunity to back away," Alex said. "With this insignia, the Wine God’s people will crowd you in an instant before you could even think of taking me away."

One of the Divinities seemed unconvinced. "The Storm God was the one who commanded you to be captured. The Wine God may be a god, but even he doesn’t dare disobey the Storm God. Therefore, your insignia must either be stolen or a fake. Either way, you are not getting out of here so easily."

"Is that so?" A voice came before the person arrived.

All of the Divinities stiffened, each one slowly turning in a direction as the figure finally arrived.

"Your Highness!"

"Senior!"

"Senior Wineshard!"

"Please," the handsome man said as he looked at the Divinities. "Go ahead. I want to see which one of you is brave enough to check whether or not that insignia is fake."

Not a single Divinity dared. With Wineshard being in the Divine Domain realm, not a single one could.

Alex felt a hint of disappointment at not getting to fight the Divinity. He had no doubt he would lose, but he also knew he would survive, so it would be a good chance to test the limits of how well he would fare against these Divinities.

Sadly, each of the two times he was against them, someone had come to his rescue.

Alex turned to Wineshard. "You arrived quickly, senior. How did you know I was in trouble?" he asked.

"My people told me they sensed a spatial phenomenon here, so I got worried and came to this town to watch over you. I wasn’t going to interfere, but then..."

He didn’t have to say anything else.

Alex gave a thankful nod.

"My work here is done, senior. We should return."
