Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3506: Loot

Chapter 3506: Loot

Several items flew out of the dead man’s Soul Space.

Alex’s senses immediately latched onto the Lightning Whip, which he could likely sell for a lot of money. He looked at it closely, determining that it was indeed a Divine-grade weapon. He was sure it was one, but he had to check anyway.

’Is there a point to keeping it?’ he wondered.

He tried to think of who it could be used by. While Pearl was the one closest to the element, he was a spear user. It was unlikely Scarlet was going to use it either. Whisker just didn’t like fighting, so it would be useless to him.

That left a few other people such as the other Alex who had taken the Wood spirit root. It could be useful for him, but there was such a long time before he could possibly reach the Divine realms that it just didn’t make sense to give it to him.

That left...

’Senior Battlesage can use it then,’ Alex thought, nodding to himself. Only if he didn’t want it would he sell it.

He looked at the other items. There were several spirit stones, pills, and talismans, which he went through.

There were some Divine-grade healing and cultivation pills, which would be useless to him as he was right now. Not just that, he had enough pills anyway that he hadn’t had the chance to use.

Winning in the Alchemy tournament had given him rewards that he had no time to use just yet.

There were about 15 million Immortal spirit stones and a separate 10 thousand Divine spirit stones. That was quite a lot. How much did each of the Sky God’s soldiers get paid to have collected this much?

Moving that aside, Alex went through the talismans. Most of them were Immortal talismans meant for communication or recording. One of them appeared to hold some information, which Alex read through.

As he read, he realized what it was.

There was information about the 3rd Major Spirit realm. Information on Yang Renye, the one he called Senior Yang. There was information on the various items that had fallen into that realm and where they had landed.

There was information about his family too, but there was a note below it saying that there was no point in searching for them since they had already reached the Sky God’s Palace. Ronron’s information especially wrote about her becoming the next Prime Disciple of the Sky God.

Alex had multiple emotions surface as he read that. On one hand, learning that his family was indeed doing well was a good thing. However, at the same time, learning that there was someone out there trying to get to them made him angry.

’This is not the only one,’ Alex thought. ’Who else is there?’

Reading through, Alex saw the information they had on him. They had his name, his reign as the King of the southern continent, and the fact that he was the one who had ended the facade of the ’game.’

’That’s why he knew to come find me,’ Alex thought.

There was also information on everything he had with him during the time of his ascension, as well as the size of his Soul Space.

Down below, there was a small piece of information written that was more of a speculation than anything.

Alex = Dawnblade?

"He knew who I was," Alex thought. It was likely he was not the only one who knew that then. There could be others too.

There was nothing they could do to him now though, so he was safe.

Alex read through a few more of the talismans, but there was nothing else for him to learn from them. The man had messaged someone about Hao Ya escaping and going after her.

Alex brought the talisman out into his hands and quickly used it. While a talisman would only respond to the person who owned it, in the case of Alex, he could activate it merely through his Yang aura.

Instantly, he sent a message.

"I found the World Tree. I am hiding outside of Raingear City. Come meet me here."

The message was sent, but Alex had no way of telling if the other person had received it or not. It would only work if they were in this realm. Otherwise, the message would just vanish.

Alex put the talisman aside and looked at the rest of the loot. There were three remaining talismans that were usable in combat.

One of them was a talisman that could constrict the user, while the other two were the same talismans that the man had used in a group against him.

The talismans turned into spear-shaped Qi that tore through almost anything. Since there were only two, Alex wasn’t sure if there was any point in keeping them, but they could help the old man create different talismans of his own to use.

These could only be used in the Divine realm, so Alex wasn’t as pleased to get them.

Placing the talismans aside, Alex looked through the rest. He quickly set aside almost all of the artifacts and formation plates the man had, as none appeared to be as useful.

The only thing of note there was another pair of the Sky God’s armor, but unless there was a reason for him to wear it, he likely would not.

And then, finally, there was the painting.

Alex unfurled it and looked at the black painting of the beast with its glowing red eye. Surprisingly, the red eye was very weak at the moment, as though it had used up its energy.

’A painting that can actually attack,’ Alex thought in surprise. ’How did they do it?’

So far, his only experience with paintings had been with them containing aura. Could one make it so that they contained attacks as well?

’I’ll have to learn more from it,’ he thought. ’Not just that, I’ll also need to find a way to empower it again so I can use it in another battle.’
