Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy
Chapter 3507: The Help
Alex had barely started his cultivation session when he received a message from Wineshard.
"Young brother, we'll need to bother you with a task," the man's message said.
Alex didn't stop cultivating, but he returned the message.
"What is it you need, senior?"
The man explained the situation.
It had been nearly two days since the explosion that tore apart the Void, forming cracks into the real world. Those cracks, which they now called pseudo-Voidgates, hadn't closed yet, and people were worried about the danger they might pose.
As such, they needed him to close them properly, as he alone understood space to such a terrifying degree.
After a while, Alex sent him a message.
"Do not worry, Senior. I will send help."

Pearl walked out of the room into the strange hallway. Having never seen the Wine God's palace before, he could only look around.
A group of guards were surprised to see him walking out of Alex's room when Alex alone should've been there, so they quickly gathered around Pearl, questioning him.
"I hear the prince is in need of some help with some Voidgates," Pearl answered. "I was sent to be of aid."
"The prince?"
The guards looked around with perplexed expressions. They knew about the cracks and the trouble they were causing everyone. If this
was true, then they couldn't interfere.
"Call his Highness."
A minute later, Wineshard walked down the hallway, his senses already landing on Pearl. His eyes narrowed for a moment, sensing Pearl's cultivation base. He was just as weak as Alex was.
"You were sent by young Dawnblade?" the man asked. "Who are you exactly?"
"I am Whitepearl, your Highness," Pearl answered. "I am a beast bonded to my brother."
"Okay..." the man said with a strange look on his face. "Why were you sent? We needed someone to close the cracks formed from the Void."
"I'm aware," Pearl answered. "I am here for that very reason."
"You have an understanding of space?" the prince asked.
Pearl answered by showing him directly. Space fluctuated under his command, the hallway around them shrinking until they could cross from one end to the other in a single step.
Pearl stopped, and the space snapped back into place.
"Is that enough?"
The guards were left slack-jawed. It wasn't every day that they saw someone manipulate space with such nonchalance.
The prince nodded. "Whitepearl, was it? Thank you for deciding to help us. If you are okay with it, we will be leaving now!"
"As you say, Your Highness."
They walked out of the palace and made their way to the
teleportation formation at the top of one of the mountains surrounding the valley. Pearl looked through the strange and rich land, quite curious about everything, as he hadn't seen much of it yet.
"You're a beast, are you?" the prince asked.
Pearl turned toward him. "Yes, Your Highness."
"What species?" the man asked.
"A White Tiger," Pearl answered. Since his human form had white robes, blond hair, and golden eyes, that was the easiest answer to
give.
The prince's face froze in shock. "A... a White Tiger?"
He could hardly believe it.
Pearl said nothing, continuing along. They arrived at Raingear City a few minutes later, walking out into the open where they could look
up at the sky.
Several people flew around the thin cracks in reality, with some silver and purple light spilling out. A group of people in the Wine God's retinue kept the sky in check, while others simply wanted to get as close as they could to see the pseudo-Voidgates.
It wasn't every day that one got to see such things, after all.
"Are you ready?" the prince asked Pearl.
Pearl nodded. "As ready as I can be. Let us go now."
Along with the prince, he made his way into the sky, going past the
group of people that surrounded the area.
"Everyone!" the prince spoke, catching their attention. "Please clear the area. Get as far away from here as you can."
There were some who didn't wish to leave so suddenly, but with the prince commanding them, they had no choice. If they refused, the prince could easily have his people force them away.
The prince turned to Pearl, gesturing above. "Go on ahead. Do what you can."
Pearl nodded and flew up toward the cracks.
While Voidgates were technically regions with both time and space
aura, in the real world, they only affected space and not time.
As such, anyone with the Space Dao could help in this instance.
The cracks were like spiderwebs carved into reality, like glass fractured under stress. They looked quite surreal, neither fully open nor fully closed.
Pearl reached the cracks with his senses and pulled on them, sealing
them shut. Slowly, the cracks began healing once they were closed long enough and didn't reopen.
Pearl went through each section of the crack one after another, finally completing the task a full minute later.
Once he was done, he stepped back and watched the region just in
case the cracks sprang back open. When he was certain they would not, he turned around to leave.
The prince watched with no small amount of surprise on his face, just
like everyone else.
"You really can do it," he said softly. "I wasn't aware that a White Tiger could even learn about space."
"They can't," Pearl said. "Not normally, at least."
"How did you come to learn it?" the man asked.
"I learned it along with my brother. He was the main help," Pearl said,
choosing not to reveal the entire truth. "Is this it? I heard there were
more than one."
"Yes, there are 7 more cracks scattered throughout the realm that we've discovered. The closest one is west of here, near the ocean.
We'll be heading there next."
Pearl's eyes narrowed a little. "7? That's quite a lot."
"Young brother, we'll need to bother you with a task," the man's message said.
