Chapter 3533 At The End
Chapter 3533 At The End
Even after Bladedance left, Alex remained seated, thinking about everything they had discussed. The fact that he had unknowingly fulfilled yet another Savior prophecy had already been quite a shocking revelation for him, and beyond that, he had also learned that the other potential Savior might just be a fake.
And with the prophecy involving the fake, any such person would be incredibly dangerous, as they had the capacity to begin the end of this world.
He returned to cultivation some time later, and even then, his mind was still filled with the same thoughts. He had to eat a pill to calm himself after a while so that he wouldn't accidentally cause Qi deviation during his cultivation session.
Finally, he was able to think things through at a calmer pace and come to decisions on various matters. First of all, there was now more evidence supporting the idea that he might truly be the Savior. What he would do with this information, he didn't exactly know. What he did know was that it wouldn't change anything about him.
He would still do the things he wanted to do. He wouldn't change himself just because some prophecy said so.
Secondly, despite the prophecy of him being the Savior, there was still the prophecy of him being the Destroyer. It was quite unlikely that people would change their stance about him so quickly just because of this new possibility. So, he would have to be careful not to trust anyone who appeared fully on his side.
There were various other thoughts that came and went, but these were the conclusions Alex decided to stick to for now. Unless he became aware of new developments regarding this matter in the future, he wouldn't change his mindset.
Having settled his thoughts, Alex sped up his cultivation, steadily
growing stronger. In between his cultivation sessions, he improved his Creations to the best of his ability.
The one he focused on the most these days was the Nine Yang Divine Tree. Considering that he would soon be going to the Sky God's palace and would likely be forced to give the tree away, he wouldn't have much time left with it.
As such, this was the best time to make full use of it. He could always rely on the copied aura later, but Alex wasn't certain if that would work. The Creation he absorbed wasn't just the tree's aura, but also the Yang Source that was slowly depleting over time.
If he was careless and lost the tree before completing the Creation, there was a chance that the Yang Source wouldn't work with the aura he created himself. If that happened, he could only blame himself.
So, he focused on it day and night.
As time passed, his improvement on all fronts was incredible. In just a few years, he had filled many of his Creations and made considerable progress toward the Immortal Transcendent 3rd realm.
By the time the teleportation formation to the Sky God's realm was about to open, he had nearly finished filling another Creation.
Alex's Origin Saturation Rate:
Sun: 100%
Nine Yang Divine Tree: 90%
Blank Canvas Pill: 37%
Yellow Fog: 41%
Godslayer: 100%
Heavenly Clouds: 33%
Void: 67%
Dragon Father: Beyond 100% (formed Dragon Father's Eyes as Spirit) (Blood Devil: 79%)
Threshold required per Origin to break through to the Immortal Transcendent 3rd realm: -22%
Whisker and Battlesage had nearly finished placing the dragon scales upon which the new script was drawn. They had checked everything repeatedly to ensure there were no mistakes. They had tested the script formation in sections, and it had worked well.
However, they had not yet tested the entire formation.
The first few days, weeks, or even months of activating it would require close monitoring of the aura, so Battlesage would need to stay there constantly.
However, since Alex was preparing to leave for the Sky God's palace soon, there was a chance the Sky God herself would visit this place,
and Alex did not want her to see any of this.
So, at the very end, the work had to be paused.
"I was looking forward to completing it soon," Battlesage said with a somber expression. "Alas, we still have to wait."
"Just for a few months. Maybe not even that long," Whisker said, trying to console him. "As soon as the matter of the trees are dealt
with, we should be able to continue."
"I hope so," Battlesage said.
Whisker understood how excited the old man was, so to have to stop just as they were completing it was quite disappointing. Even he was disappointed as well. Alas, he understood why things had to go this
way.
He looked at the old man's face and sighed. There was only one way to fix his mood now. He brought out a crystal orb.
"Do you want to see if you can still beat me in battle?"
The old man grinned, all of his previous emotions vanishing in an
instant.
"Obviously!"
Pearl finally arrived at Raingear City, the place where Alex had fought the Sky God's soldier and won. It was also the city where he had first arrived through the crack.
Pearl's first visit to any place on this continent had been this very city. And now, after more than three years, he had returned once again.
To his surprise, things appeared quite different.
The atmosphere was much calmer, and the people no longer seemed on edge. That made sense, as the threat of the pseudo-voidgates had
long since passed.
Scarlet and the older couple, however, had different impressions upon seeing the city with fresh eyes. It looked far rowdier than other cities-larger, more chaotic.
"Let's just walk around for now," Pearl told the three, and they wandered through the streets and alleyways, taking in the sights. As they walked, they arrived at the city center, where two large statues stood side by side, with the word 'Savior' written beneath
both of them.
One of the statues depicted a long-haired man holding a spear. As for
the other...
"Huh?" Pearl thought with genuine surprise. "Is that a statue of
brother?"
