Chapter 3536 The Sky God's Palace
Chapter 3536 The Sky God's Palace
The Sky God's Palace referred not just to the palace of the Sky God, the city where the palace lay, and the world that the Sky God ruled.
So when Alex and the rest arrived at the Sky God's Palace, they were only inside the realm, and had yet to arrive at the city, let alone her palace.
The realm was smaller than most other Immortal realms out there, but that by no means meant that it could be easily dismissed. It was still larger than many Spirit realms, including the 3rd Major Spirit Realm. And considering that it was all just a single continent, there were many more cities around than just the Sky God's palace.
As soon as they arrived, Alex and the rest could feel an increase in the density of Qi around them, as though the whole of the Sky God's Palace had a greater concentration of Qi than any other world out there.
It was certainly the strongest Alex had ever sensed.
Alex looked around outside of the formation platform, staring into the compound that surrounded them. It was daytime, so the sun was still out in the sky, with soft puffy clouds covering it in a sparse pattern.
There was no sign of any moons or other bodies, which wasn't that big of a surprise as Alex had read that this world, like many others, didn't have a moon of its own.
The only human lands that did were the Myriad Spirit Realm and the Eternal Isles. There were 5 other moons in the Demon Realms, and those were where the rest of the moons were among all the realms.
Hao Ya cowered around them slightly, her eyes scanning the group of Sky God's soldiers that were gathered close by. Alex watched her to see any change in her reaction, but it didn't appear as though she had seen anyone new, so he could only presume the ones she was
searching for weren't here.
Bladedance strode out of the formation platform without a single word and stared at one of the many Sky God's soldiers in their sky-blue armor. She pointed at the man, catching his attention, before gesturing for him to come over.
The man hurriedly made his way to Bladedance before falling to one knee as he bowed.
"How may this junior be of assistance to you?" he quickly asked. The man had seemingly recognized Bladedance, so she didn't have to explain anything to him at all.
"We need to visit the palace," she explained. "Prepare a teleportation formation."
"Right away, senior."
The man walked away.
Alex moved toward Bladedance, speaking in a hushed voice. "Did he recognize you?"
Bladedance nodded. "He's old enough to know who I am, so he has to recognize me," she said. There wasn't much else needed to be said.
Alex saw gazes turning toward him from time to time, but none seemed to overstay their welcome at all. He looked at them, trying to determine their reactions, but they hardly showed any at all.
Alex couldn't tell if he had suddenly lost the effect he had on people as a Half-God. But, considering the exposure these people must have with the other Half-Gods, it was more likely that they were just too used to it.
Compared to them, Alex's influence had likely not even registered on them.
The man from earlier returned a minute later and beckoned them to join him. Bladedance followed the man, and the rest followed Bladedance behind with curious looks on their faces.
The older Alex and Emily looked around the place, looking at
everything. However, it was clear that their minds weren't focused on what they were seeing at all. They were more likely excited about meeting their daughter again.
Pearl looked around the place, a bit fascinated by everything. Whisker showed a similar emotion.
Hao Ya was of course far too conscious of the people who might be after her to be able to focus on the surroundings. She was constantly on edge and could not enjoy her time at all.
The only ones that seemed to be genuinely surprised and excited about the place they had come to were in fact Scarlet and Battlesage.
Both of them were people that had been sheltered from a young age or had been trapped somewhere and hadn't had the chance to properly roam the outside world.
They had gone through one world, but that was hardly enough. They needed to see it all before they would be satisfied enough to say that they had seen it all.
They were taken to another teleportation formation nearby, wherein the man bowed again. "May I ask if everyone here will be taking the teleportation formation too?"
Bladedance looked back through them all and nodded. "All of us will be doing so. Will that be a problem?"
"Not at all," the man answered before gesturing for them to step onto the formation platform.
Bladedance called for everyone to quickly get on it, and they did.
They were now just a single teleportation away, so Alex and the rest
began growing even more nervous now.
There was still no actual guarantee that their family would be at the Sky God's Palace. He had gotten 'confirmation,' but those could always have been false in the end.
There was only one way to be absolutely certain of the truth, and that
was why they grew more nervous by the second. Very soon, the truth would be set in stone, and both their hopes and fears would also be
finalized.
The formation flashed with a bright light, and the group was
teleported away.
When the light vanished, Alex found himself standing on a smaller platform, overlooking a massive chasm from a location high in the sky. More of the Sky God's soldiers surrounded them, each one standing
guard.
Suddenly, he heard gasps from all around him, causing him to turn around quickly. When he did, he saw it.
He saw them all.
Before him lay the entirety of his family, lined up upon the white stairs, staring directly at him.
