Chapter 713: Suppression

Janna glanced at the broken fragments of the transparent orb, her eyes still wide open.

She couldn’t understand what was going on.

Not long after she and her companions began using their Cosmic Energy to activate this machine, a light suddenly emerged from inside before disappearing into the sky.

Although it stayed in the room for only a split second, Janna could still remember its appearance.

It resembled an arm. Or rather, a tiny part of a complete arm.

Combined with its subsequent disappearance and the scenes that had flashed through her mind, she already had a guess about why they had been brought here.

Clearly, what they were empowering was not a machine at all, but a terrifying mecha. A mecha powerful enough to threaten the Cosmic Universe itself.

Although Janna did not fully understand what this entailed, the mere images of the giant splitting the sky with a single strike and the terrifying aura that accompanied it left her stunned.

It took several minutes before she could recover. It was not only her; her companions were, too. Whether it was World Lords or Venerables, they were shocked by the previous sight.

Yet just as Janna had managed to calm down, her expression changed again.

Suddenly, her consciousness was pulled out of her body and was brought upward.

The sensation was familiar, letting her know what was happening.

She was entering the Information World! Not of her own accord, but guided by an unknown power.

Janna was horrified. Who could possibly achieve something like this, forcing her to enter the Information World?

Unfortunately, she didn’t get an answer.

By the time she reacted, she had already appeared in the Information World.

She was currently in her own residence. Everything remained the same as the last time she entered this illusory world.

But just as Janna was prepared to investigate the source of the previous pulling force, a large screen emerged before her.

A light flashed across the black screen.

A woman appeared on it, wearing a long laboratory uniform. She stared straight at the camera and opened her mouth to speak.

What she said caused Janna, and every Awakener in the Information World, to tremble.

“Everyone! The Human Federation is in grave danger!”

“Now, the Human Race needs your help more than ever!”

Within the core of the Cosmic Universe, Liora felt a terrifying power emerge in her body. Her aura continuously grew stronger, as though she had consumed a rare treasure and was in the process of advancement.

A faint smile appeared on her face.

She understood the source of this change.

“It seems that Anna is still reliable. By using the giant’s appearance and the Human Ruler’s assumed death, she was able to guide public opinion in a good direction.”

“In desperate times, one needs a savior… And I am the perfect target.”

The Human Emperor Technique could guide the faith and worship of other humans to empower the Human Emperor.

Previously, although Liora had established the Human School, attracted many students, and gathered a lot of faith, it had been impossible to spread her name throughout the Human Federation.

Even if the Human Federation wanted to help her, it was impossible. Awakeners would not believe in someone for no reason.

Now, however, that was possible.

She could sense huge amounts of faith entering her body with every passing second.

Evidence of this was that the azure threads growing out of her body had become far more numerous and significantly stronger.

The chaotic threads of the Hollow Ancestor were constantly pushed back again and again.

Liora’s authority over the Cosmic Universe constantly expanded, allowing her to control more and more of its total area.

The rate at which this happened was countless times faster than before.

If she had needed to spend millions of years to suppress the Hollow Ancestor, then she now only needed a thousand.

Moreover, the power of her Human Law threads constantly increased.

More and more humans believed in her, raising her strength even further.

One thousand years. Eight hundred years. Five hundred years.

In the blink of an eye, the Hollow Ancestor found himself utterly suppressed.

By the time Liora’s name had spread throughout the Human Federation, the power of her threads had grown far beyond anyone’s imagination.

Three years!

All she needed was three years to completely suppress the Hollow Ancestor.

Moreover, killing her nemesis was not the only achievement she would make at that time.

That was a greater percentage than what the Hollow Ancestor controlled when she arrived here.

By that point, it could be said that she would have become the sole ruler of the Cosmic Universe. Suppressing the Will of the World and gaining complete authority over this world would be a matter of thought.

The more Liora thought about it, the more excited she became.

She had already seen it.

The complete Cosmic Universe had a status and power equivalent to a Princess of the Demon World.

With that thought, she turned back to herself. Sensing the faith of countless humans operating under the guidance of the Human Emperor Technique, her eyes flickered.

Apprehension and excitement flashed within them.
