But soon, she discovered that she could control everything within that area, whether it was the energies or even the Laws themselves.
Insights instantly flooded her mind. If she were an ordinary Awakener, she would have immediately made several consecutive advancements, perhaps even becoming a World Lord on the spot.
Unfortunately, the insights were far from enough to help Liora improve her strength.
Even so, she was satisfied.
Mostly because she sensed that this was not the end of it.
The small space was actually expanding.
Two meters. Five meters. Ten meters.
Every time a chaotic thread was destroyed, the space she could control would grow bigger.
Similarly, the speed at which she comprehended Laws would accelerate, as though the world itself was blessing her.
“Is this what it feels like to refine a world? It’s somewhat similar to my state within the Cosmic Sea…” Liora whispered as she “raised” her head.
With her having refined part of the Cosmic Universe, the mist clouding her vision had disappeared.
She could now sense two wills shrouding everything in the universe, permeating every single inch of it.
From her point of view, one occupied about eighty percent of the universe, while the other occupied the rest of it.
Obviously, the two represented the Hollow Ancestor and the Cosmic Universe respectively.
Besides those two, there was also a tiny flickering area.
A third will had appeared. Her own.
With her and the Cosmic Universe working in tandem, the areas they controlled grew larger and larger. The Hollow Ancestor was forced to retreat.
Unfortunately…
“Such a rate of progress is too slow…” Liora shook her head.
At their current speed, it would take them millions of years to wear down the Hollow Ancestor and divide the Cosmic Universe.
It was no wonder that the battle between the two had begun at the start of the Era yet and had lasted until now.

She glanced at the Will of the Cosmic Universe, wondering what it would choose to do. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to plan to break the deadlock.
Oblivious to the future threat, it had begun celebrating, seemingly awaiting their destined victory.
Liora shook her head in disappointment.
“Sure enough, even at times like these, I still have to rely on my own strength…” she whispered inwardly.
The next moment, a message was sent out of the universe’s core, appearing in the real world.
After digesting the information within her message, Anna’s expression grew serious.
Concern crossed her face, along with a trace of relief.
She knew that the second stage of their plan had begun!
