Chapter 756: End & Creation Begins
Chapter 756: End & Creation Begins
“No! Impossible!”
“How could the Ruler die?”
“The noble Fallen Angel race cannot be defeated!”
The Fallen Angels were unwilling to accept reality, believing that Liora was trying to trick them.
They held absolute faith in their Lord. They didn’t believe that she would die at the opponent’s hands.
Looking at the women, all of whom seemed to be on the verge of a mental breakdown, Liora couldn’t help but shake her head inwardly.
She wondered whether there was something wrong with the Fallen Angel bloodline.
After all, weren’t Devils supposed to be intelligent, rational, and decisive?
How could it be that every Fallen Angel she had ever met was so… mentally weak?
The more she thought about it, the more convinced Liora became that the Fallen Angel lineage had something wrong with it.
Whether it was the Blasphemer, the Fallen Ancestor, the Holy Land Demon Lord, or even these weak Fallen Angels, they all seemed strange to her.
Many thoughts raced through Liora’s mind. She wondered whether the creator of the Fallen Angel bloodline had forcibly lowered the intelligence of their descendants in order to strengthen their position and prevent them from surpassing them.
However, she quickly pushed that matter aside.
Suppressing her thoughts, she took one final look at the hysterical Fallen Angels and waved her hand once more.
Just like the projection before them, the women began to disintegrate.
They had no time to say anything. Their curses were cut off abruptly.
A moment later, they had disappeared.
Liora made the tough decision not to devour their souls, choosing to blast them to pieces instead.
She strongly suspected that she might be tainted by their nature if she were to touch them, losing her IQ in the process.
“It’s better to be cautious about such things,” she muttered inwardly.
Then, she glanced at the 37th Demon Layer.
Her face became indifferent.
Moments later…
Bang!
A loud explosion echoed through the Demon World, startling the few slumbering Ancient Devils.
—
Shortly after, Liora had finally gotten rid of the gazes of the other Ancient Devils, returning to the edge of the Demon World and concealing herself.
In her hands were two “objects.”
One was a small multi-colored stone, which looked like thousands of grains of sand that had been forcibly fused together, while the other appeared to be a giant ant colony, with countless miniature creatures moving slowly inside.
The former was the land of the two Demon Layers Liora had destroyed.
As for the latter, they were the residents of those two Demon Layers.
Liora played with these two “items,” throwing them up and down as though they were ordinary toys.
Yet her mind drifted to somewhere else.
She repeatedly went through every one of her earlier actions, trying to find if she had made any mistakes.
In the end, she nodded her head.
“There is no mistake.”
“Although my actions seem extreme, as though I have offended the Fallen Angels for no reason, these ‘enemies’ cannot pose any threat to me.”
In fact, her conflict with the Fallen Ancestor had been orchestrated by her from the very beginning.
Her goal was not only the Demon Layer she had created, but also the Fallen Angel lineage behind her.
Under normal circumstances, Liora would have been more low-key, choosing to lurk until she found enough information about the circle of Ancient Devils.
Thankfully, the memories of the Hollow Ancestor had already achieved that purpose.
Furthermore, from them, Liora understood something.
Being cautious and acting weak was not a way to survive as an Ancient Devil in the Demon World.
The more unscrupulous one was and the more reckless they seemed, the less likely it was for other Devils to provoke them.
After all, Ancient Devils were already under the threat of the Tribulation. No one wanted to make enemies with powerful beings for no reason.
“With the combat prowess I displayed today, no smart person should provoke me as long as there is no real conflict.”
“Even if they lose their minds and several of them team up to attack me, I should have no issue dealing with Primordial Devils, no matter how many there are.”
As for Absolute Beginning Devils and Princes and Princesses of the Demon World?
Liora knew the previous scene was hardly worth their attention.
Every Absolute Beginning Devil had traced their timeline to the beginning of the Origin Sea, having reached the peak of their strength.
From then on, their full attention was on advancing further. No one would involve themselves in unnecessary affairs, just like an Archdevil on the verge of breaking free from the River of Time’s shackles would not care about anything else.
Likewise, the Princes and Princesses of the Demon World were not a problem either.
Such beings stood on a different level than them.
Just as Liora wouldn’t spare a single glance at an Archdevil, no matter how outstanding they were, beings of such a level would not care about Liora.
… Of course, that was provided they didn’t discover the Cosmic Universe she was carrying with her.
Having confirmed that her previous actions had not led to any unwanted consequences, Liora was finally ready to accomplish the second goal of her return to the Demon World.
She was ready to create her own Demon Layer!
For ordinary Ancient Devils, gathering the materials required to do so was difficult. They would have to spend millions of years, paying a heavy price to gather them all.
Fortunately, Liora had already received the “investment” of two Fallen Angels.
She didn’t have to spend nearly as much effort.
With that thought, Liora looked at the “stone” in her hand.
From her point of view, it was easy to see that each grain of sand was actually an entire continent, shrunk down through her own spatial abilities.
She didn’t let it return to its original size.
Instead, her demonic energy flared, flowing out from her hands and transforming into crimson flames.
Those flames moved, enveloping the stone and marking the beginning of its refinement.
Her actions seemed to have attracted someone’s attention.
In the depths of the Demon World, an ancient and chaotic Will awakened and descended upon her location.
It didn’t have any bad intentions.
If anything, it cheered upon seeing what Liora was doing.
It poured its power into the crimson flames and assisted her, helping her create her Demon Layer according to her wishes.
With the assistance of the Will of the Demon World, Liora’s perfect world was slowly being built!
