Extra's Rebirth: I Will Create A Good Ending For The Heroines

Chapter 513 513: New Rewards

Chapter 513 513: New Rewards

The next morning, Gwendolyn floated out of his body.

"What a nice slee-" She paused as she looked down with horror written on her ghostly face.

Azel and Stella were currently sleeping together however his face rested in between her breasts and she placed a hand to the back of his head. To her, it looked as if she had suffocated him to sleep with her breasts. She floated over to Azel and took hold of his hair.

"Idiot... Idiot... Idiot." She yelped out as she dragged him back.

The strands pulled taut and his head tilted backward from the force. Azel rolled over and blinked as he gradually started waking up.

"Where am I...?" He wondered as he sat up, it looked like his room and then he yawned and looked at Stella.

She was just waking up as well, her hair was a bit disheveled and the black nightgown had ridden up during the night, exposing more of her thighs which were amazing.

"Good morning Stella."

"Good morning Az." She greeted as she leaned in and kissed him on the forehead. "Do you feel good?"

"I..." He smiled. "I slept like a baby."

The crying had helped... He'd needed that release more than he'd realized. The weight on his chest felt lighter this morning but it still wasn't gone.

"Good to hear that, I'll go wash up in your bathroom." She said and stood up, walking out of the room and into the bath. "Plus..."

She turned around to face him.

"You're pretty active in the morning." She gave a glance at his trousers. "I see it's pretty nice to be young."

With that, she closed the door behind her and Azel looked down to see that he really had morning wood. It was strong and erect, straining against his trousers like a flag that was rising up.

"I see." He stood up and looked at Gwendolyn who was pouting her cheeks and the shower in the bath turned on. 'Why did you drag my hair? It hurts you know.'

The water started running and steam would be building in there soon. The bathing facilities here were pretty amazing despite this being an old mansion.

"You shouldn't fall asleep on another woman's breasts." Gwendolyn puffed. "Pervert."

He stood up and stretched as his morning erection went down. 'So what's the plan for today...?'

His joints popped and the stretch felt good after sleeping in one position all night.

"Why are you asking me?" She rose an eyebrow. "Maybe you'll take that girl back to Lycas and then continue scrolling through the Underground. Besides I want to see Samantha again."

Azel's eyes flew open. "She's still here?"

He looked out the window. "At this time?"

It looked to be almost 9am, he could tell by the sun's intensity but then again, he could be wrong. The shadows were shortening, the light golden rather than the pale morning glow.

He opened the door and ran down the hallway, opening the door to the room where he had placed Selene in. She was sleeping comfortably with small snores and he took a moment to look at her.

Her tail was curled around a pillow. One of her ears twitched in her sleep. She'd kicked the blanket off at some point, leaving her legs exposed.

"She looks cute..." He muttered under his breath as he walked over.

Gwendolyn floated next to him. She wasn't sure that he had ever called her cute before, not with that exact tone anyway.

Azel leaned over and heaved her in a princess carry. She was still sleeping, her head lolling against his chest.

'I'm sure she has been stressing herself constantly over the past few months and taking care of the Territory by her lonesome. She deserves the rest.'

Her breathing stayed even and despite that, she didn't wake up. Azel carried her through the door and slowly closed it behind him with his foot.

"So we're going to your territory today...?" Gwendolyn asked.

'Yes... why don't we take Samantha along? Let's go.' He replied and walked in the direction of the stairs leading down.

His footsteps were quiet on the carpet and he moved carefully, making sure not to jostle Selene too much.

...

Azel appeared in the room once again with Selene in his arms. The teleportation pulled at his stomach but he kept his balance. Selene stirred slightly but didn't wake.

He expected it to be choc-full of pictures of him once more but it was perfectly cleaned and there were no more pictures, except for a few hung to the wall.

There were only three frames now of the hundreds of pictures that had been here.

"I guess Irene cleaned up." Azel muttered as he laid her down on the bed and she rolled.

"Yes my lord~ Please go harder in me~"

Azel's face reddened while Gwendolyn's face twisted into a grimace.

'Doing it with him in your sleep is another level of desperate...' She thought.

She definitely didn't do it... Definitely.

'Okay, maybe once or twice... or five rounds. Whatever.'

Azel pushed off the bed and opened the door, looking back at Selene just once.

"Good girl." He muttered as he closed the door and stepped out.

The moment he got outside, he saw Irene sweeping the hallways and she dropped her broom before picking it up. She had clearly been surprised.

The broom clattered against the floor and her eyes went wide.

"My Lord... welcome back." She said as she held her broom and walked to him, pressing a hand against his forehead. "Are you feeling well?"

Her hand was warm... checking for fever probably, or just making sure he was real.

"Yes I am, Irene. What about Ravik and your son?" He asked and she stepped back with a smile.

"They were so happy they said they were heading to the forest to hunt a feast for you... The other Hunters joined them so we should be expecting quite a lot tonight." Irene replied and his stomach rumbled.

It seemed crying himself to sleep had expended quite a lot of energy as his body was demanding fuel.

"I already made breakfast my lord! I'll serve it to you immediately..."

With that, she ran downstairs with her broom in hand and he couldn't help but notice she seemed a tad too excited today.

Her steps were quick, almost giddy even. He'd never seen her move that fast before.

"Is she usually like that?" Gwendolyn asked. This was only her second time here so she wouldn't know.

"Not exactly, I think she's excited." He replied and walked downstairs to the dining table, passing the Daily Reward box. 'I'll be coming back for you later...'

The box sat there innocently and within it, there was three months of unclaimed rewards waiting inside.

He reached the table and Irene was moving like a blur along the table, setting up different kinds of food across it.

Plates clinked and utensils sparkled as she got busy with them and she finally finished then wiped the sweat from her forehead.

"My lord... you're already here? I didn't even notice." She said and smiled while pointing both hands over to the food.

"Sorry for the delay my Lord. Now this is all I cooked in preparation for you this morning... if you didn't come, I planned to warm and keep it for the evening... I made roasted phoenix chicken glazed with honey and fire peppers, butter-seared dragon bass from the forest river, ember potatoes mashed with cream and garden herbs, glazed root vegetables with carrots and winter squash, fresh bread that's still warm, beef stew that's been simmering since dawn, apple tarts, chocolate cream cake, and my honey cakes that I learned from the town." Irene said while wiping her hands on her apron, her face flushed from hours in the kitchen. "I wanted to make sure our Lord had a proper feast for his return. Do you like it...?"

The dining table practically groaned under the weight of it all.

Platters of meat arranged with steam rising from every dish, the rich scent of butter and spices filling the air. The phoenix chicken sat as the center with its glazed skin reflecting the sunlight like gold.

Bowls of vegetables arranged by color, bread stacked in a cloth-lined basket still radiating heat and the stew sitting in a large iron bowl thick enough that the spoon stood upright in it.

Desserts lined the side table, sweet enough to smell from across the room. It looked like something from a noble's banquet.

"Like it? I think it's too much, thank you Irene." He said and she smiled warmly.

Her cheeks went pink and pride radiated from her expression.

"Anything for you my Lord, will Lady Selene be joining us?" She asked and Azel shook his head.

"She's resting today... she deserves it." Azel said. "I'll be leaving in a few hours."

He had told Stella and Edna where he was going just to be sure. He wanted no issues when he came back... as long as he got no angry wives wondering where he'd disappeared to again, he was fine.

"Okay my lord, Just eat, I'll give her some later." She said and left.

Azel looked down at his shadow.

"You can stop being shy now..." He said and Samantha rose from his shadow.

For whatever reason, Samantha had been shy and staying in his shadow since coming here. The poodle hopped on Gwendolyn and Gwen patted her as Azel sat down and began feasting on the food.

He hadn't realized how hungry he was so he just kept on eating.

The phoenix chicken was perfectly seasoned, The potatoes were creamy and rich with herbs he couldn't identify, they were much different from what he usually used but everything tasted incredible.

He tore into the bread which was still warm. The inside was soft and fluffy and the crust had that perfect crunch. He dipped it in the stew and the flavors exploded.

As he ate, the door to the backyard opened and a Dar stumbled inside.

He had almost forgotten about the Dar Tribe. These black cute and short creatures were the tribe he had done a contract with and had brought them into Lycas from the forest.

He remembered that they ate the dreams of monsters, not human flesh and he was sure this was the Dar Tribe Leader though it was quite big. It was much bigger than before.

It used to come up to his shin, now it reached his knee easily.

It walked over and hugged his leg with a yelp.

"Dar!"

The little creature's arms barely wrapped around his calf. Its fur was soft against his skin.

"I missed you too buddy..." Azel said as he placed the Dar on his lap and gave it an apple tart. It took it and began eating and Azel patted its head. There was a tab above its head.

[Dar Tribe Leader, Rank 5]

[Rank up Requirements: 299 / 300 dreams eaten]

'Huh?' He thought and looked down at the Monster. One more dream... just one and it would rank up. It hadn't shown this tab the last time but he wasn't complaining, though feeding it 299 times in less than three months was crazy.

"You're going to rank up?" He asked while looking at the Dar, half expecting it not to understand what he was about to say but it nodded with a Dar. "That's really good news, all you need is one dream left..."

The Dar munched happily on the tart, crumbs falling onto Azel's lap while Gwendolyn just sighed. They were linked by the soul so she could see what was right in front of him.

Sometimes she wondered where he got those tabs from but she didn't bother, as long as it kept him safe somewhat.

She was happy.

"Irene!" Azel called out and Samantha fumbled out of Gwendolyn's arms, dispelling into the shadow and leaving Gwen pouting at Azel's shadow.

"Bad dog."

Samantha let out a whine from within the darkness.

Irene got into the room seconds later.

"Yes my lord..." She said while being happy that he had combed through a lot of that food quickly. He really enjoyed what she made for him.

"Do the Dars have any more monsters to feed on?" He asked and she shook her head.

"They finished their last batch this morning... Ravik promised to get some more today." She said and Azel stood up.

The Dar scrambled to stay balanced on his shoulder.

"Scratch that... I'll go myself. It's important." He said. "Please cover the food, I'll eat some more when I get back."

The Dar made its way onto his shoulder properly and Irene nodded with a bow. "I'll do just that!"

"Before I go... I'll check the Daily reward box." He walked over and Gwendolyn floated with him while the Dar was on his shoulder.

He stood in front of the box.

[Would you like to receive your Daily reward?]

[Cost: 20 S.P]

[Y / N]

'I didn't claim a reward for three months...' He looked at the box. 'You should at least give me some kind of mass gift or whatever.'

And it seemed the System answered as the tab changed.

[Would you like to receive your Mass Daily reward?]

[Cost: 30 S.P]

He tapped on Y and a singular color came out. Instead of the rainbow as the box opened, a brilliant white light erupted, even Gwendolyn who was a ghost was forced to close her eyes.

The Dar squeaked and buried its face in Azel's neck.

The light died down and the box was very full but the first reward appeared in front of his eyes.

[Territory-Wide Skill: Berserker's Might: All residents of Lycas can willingly activate and deactivate a state that multiplies their combat capabilities by 100x for extended periods, with no drawbacks or exhaustion penalties.]

'Oho~ What a wonderful present.' He thought with a grin on his face.

With this, they would wipe that Boss in the mountains out for good.
