Chapter 515 515: New Editions

"A name?" Azel asked as he looked at her and she nodded.

"I want Master to give me a name." She said with a warm smile and he looked at the Greater Dream Demon with a hand to his chin.

What kind of name would fit a Dream Demon? Especially one of her caliber… It had to be something that rhymed with those wings and horns and something that captured the essence of what she was as well.

She was a creature of dreams and darkness so she needed a name that sounded powerful but also elegant. He couldn't just give her something random.

He ran through options in his head.

Lilith felt too obvious… Morgana was too witch-like and Selene was already taken by his Selene. He needed something that felt right for a demon born from consuming dreams.

"What about Nyx?" He asked, it was a pretty nice name however Gwendolyn gave him a side-eye.

He looked at her. 'What? I don't see anything wrong with it...'

The name of the primordial goddess of night according to Kyone and it fit perfectly for a demon born from dreams then he looked back at the Demon who smiled as a pink energy surrounded her.

The energy pulsed outward in waves and it wrapped around her body like a second skin before fading.

"I love that name Master." She said while turning to him with a smile on her beautiful face. "I'm your Nyx... you can use me anytime you feel like it."

Azel gave her a nod. "By use? You mean fight for me right?"

He needed to clarify. The way she said it sounded... suggestive.

"Yes and I can eat your dreams too..." She said as her tail flicked behind her happily. "If you have a really bad dream, then you can call on me to eat it up for you."

The tail moved in figure eights and her expression was eager, like a dog waiting for commands as the horns on her head caught the sunlight.

"Bad dream huh... I'll think about it." He said.

He didn't have any bad dreams last night so maybe it would stay like that. Though with everything that happened recently, nightmares seemed inevitable then Azel looked at the tall trees. "How about we do some more hunting for the other Dars? I doubt Ravik had that part extremely handled."

The coward had run past him screaming after all, not exactly the behavior of someone who'd successfully completed a hunt. The man needed serious discipline.

"Leave that to me Master." She said as her wings spread out once more.

He hadn't noticed it before but the dress actually had room at the back for her wings. The fabric was designed with slits that accommodated them perfectly.

The Daily Reward box really had thought of everything. It was almost creepy how well it predicted things.

"I'll just destroy the monsters and capture the dreams to feed it directly to the Dars."

With that, she soared up and left Azel standing there with Gwendolyn floating by his side.

The wind from her wings rustled the leaves… She was fast and natural in the air like she'd been flying her entire life.

Within seconds she was just a black dot against the sky.

"You're getting too many women..." She said while puffing out her cheeks and Azel shrugged.

"Don't ask me, ask the author." He replied while sighing. "But I get you... we haven't seen all of them yet."

That made Gwendolyn's eyes open.

Her jaw actually dropped and she looked genuinely horrified. H

"There's more...?" She asked and Azel nodded.

"I'm sure the rest will come today so let's finish up what we have to do in Lycas quickly and head back." Azel said though he was certain that they had already arrived by now.

Naelia probably, maybe Ira too, then Flare and Esme as well. His mansion was going to be packed to the brim with women. The dining table would need extensions at this rate.

The thought exhausted him already. Managing all these relationships was harder than fighting demons.

Selene stretched as she walked down the stairs. She was still wearing Azel's oversized shirt however it was dragged up this time since she was scratching her belly.

The fabric rode up to her ribs and her tail swayed behind her lazily.

"Irene..." She let out and Irene was at the staircase.

"Yes my lady."

"Did my lord already go back?" She asked as she pulled on the shirt and took it off at the bottom of the stairs, revealing her naked body underneath. "I haven't returned his shirt... I think I'm going to steal it, it smells really nice."

His scent was all over it and comforting.

She wanted to keep it forever, maybe sleep in it every night. The fabric was soft and still held his warmth.

"The Lord is around, he went to the forest and- Oh... here he is."

Azel came walking in with a pretty woman with big breasts, making Selene's mouth drop to the ground.

Her heart sank. No. No no no. This couldn't be happening.

"What...?" She asked while fumbling to put the shirt back on. "My Lord, you already replaced me?"

Her hands shook as she tried to get the shirt over her head. It got caught on her ears. She struggled with it, pulling and tugging.

"What do you mean by that?" He asked.

They had just come back from feeding the Dars in the backyard and they seemed excited to know that their leader had turned into a beautiful demon.

Another thing he noticed was that the Dars were very different from this one.

Nyx had needed to consume 300 dreams to rank up and hit Rank 3, meanwhile they needed 450 to trigger their own evolutions.

The difference was significant… Maybe because she was the tribe leader? Or maybe it was just individual variance. He'd have to observe them more carefully as they progressed.

'Well, they'll probably hit their evolutions this month or the next.' He thought.

They ate a lot more now as the twenty monsters that Nyx hunted had been finished really quickly.

The little creatures had devoured the dreams with enthusiasm, chirping happily as they fed. Their bodies had grown slightly larger too.

Selene walked over to him with puffed cheeks.

"You already got... another woman out of the blue..." She said and bit her lip as she looked into his eyes. "Don't you remember our promise?"

Her voice cracked slightly. Was he really going to forget about giving her an heir that easily? After everything they'd talked about? After she'd basically begged him?

"This is the Dar tribe chief, she ranked up." Azel said with a shrug and it was Selene's turn to be surprised.

That little Dar... had turned into a beautiful woman like this? Why was life so unfair? She'd been taking care of that thing for months. feeding it and making sure it was comfortable.

"I'm not a Dar. I'm Master's Nyx." She said as she scooted to his side and pressed her breasts against him and brought out her tongue at Selene while the werewolf twitched.

She had been taking care of the Dar since it came over here and the moment she got a smoking hot body, she decided to bite the hand that was feeding her.

'Ungrateful demon.'

Selene felt her blood pressure rising as wind burst to life around Selene's hand and she raised it at the Dar.

"Homewrecker..."

The wind howled and her eyes glowed with power.

Nyx extended her other hand as well and the purple flames danced around it. It seemed the both of them wanted to kill each other.

The temperature in the room rose… The wind picked up, furniture rattled and Irene backed away slowly, not wanting to get caught in the crossfire.

"Anything that stands in the way of me and Master will..."

"Both of you calm down." Azel said with a sigh and they dispelled their abilities reluctantly. "You don't have to fight about it."

The energy dissipated and both women stood down but glared at each other then he turned to the pile of arranged goods next to the Daily Reward box.

Irene had done a very good job of arranging everything in order. The rations, the items, the weapons, the skillbooks.

Everything was separated by category and organized perfectly so he turned to Selene and pointed at them.

"You'll distribute those amongst who you think need them." He said with a smile and Selene nodded with her tail wagging as he patted her head. "I trust your judgement."

Her chest swelled with pride.

He trusted her… she was still important and still his lady in Lycas.

"I will definitely not fail you my Lord." She said with a smile and gave Nyx a look, showing that regardless of her new body, she was still the one that had the upper hand.

That made Nyx stiffen and then the demon whimpered causing Azel to look at her.

"Nyx, what's wrong?" He asked as Selene gritted her teeth.

"Master is giving Selene pats... I want some pats too." She said and Azel took his hand off Selene's head, giving her a few pats on the head.

It not only made her warm but also made her look at Selene victoriously.

Her tail swished behind her smugly and her expression turned into pure triumph.

Selene's eye twitched… This demon was playing dirty and using cuteness as a weapon.

"I want pats too." Gwendolyn sighed and Azel smiled.

'I'll give you some when we get back.' He thought and then turned to the three women.

"Irene made breakfast... let's go eat it all." He said, taking Selene with one hand and Nyx with other before dragging them both to the dining table.

They had to get along somehow. He couldn't have them trying to kill each other every five minutes since that would get old fast.

He needed peace in his territory.

Azel sighed as he appeared in his room. He had to admit, he had spent more time than he expected over at Lycas but it was nice.

Seeing everyone, making sure things were running smoothly, distributing the rewards and watching Selene and Nyx reluctantly eat at the same table. It had taken a few hours but it was worth it.

However unlike what he expected, there was nobody in his room right now.

Everyone was in the dining.

"I guess it's breakfast time, huh?" Azel muttered as he walked out of the room and down the staircase.

The sounds of conversation drifted up.

There was laughter and multiple voices talking over each other as the smell of food wafted through the air.

However the instant he got down, there were some new editions to the dining room table like he half expected.

"So these are the other girls you were talking about..." Gwendolyn said while looking at the table.

She really wondered how Azel intended to keep so many women honestly. The logistics alone seemed impossible. How did he plan to give them all attention?

There were about four new editions to the table and the girls were giggling with each other.

The first was Naelia Starbloom, the princess and Azel couldn't help but admit, she was even more mature than the last time he saw her and they had done the deed.

Her hair was longer and her face had lost some of its youthful roundness. She'd grown into her features beautifully.

The time apart had changed her… she looked more like a queen now than a princess.

The next was Ira and the heroine was chuckling with Mira. She had also grown and Flare was after that, she had dark circles under her eyes as usual but she was talking as well with Mynes more or less and they were having fun and the last to the edition was Esme, the big chested world famous Alchemist was at the table, speaking freely with Sybil.

Everyone seemed like they were having fun, except Edna. She looked quite pale and for good reason. Naelia was her daughter after all before she left that life behind and she didn't know how to face her.

The tension between them was visible even from across the room. Edna kept glancing at Naelia then looking away.

Her hands trembled slightly as she held her fork. She hadn't touched her food.

"Look who's here." Stella said and their attention turned to Azel who had come down the staircase while stretching.

His joints popped… He was still a bit sore from all the running around and the teleportation always left him slightly dizzy too.

The eyes of the girls that had newly come glistened and before anyone else could react, Naelia moved with a burst of wind and landed on him, making him fall and she sat on his crotch while pinning both arms to the ground.

The impact knocked the air out of his lungs. His back hit the floor hard, the wind magic had made her impossibly fast.

"You... you... you... dummy." She said as tears began rushing down her face. "Big dummy... How could you take my first time and not contact me again?"

After she said that, there was silence in the room.
