Extra's Rebirth: I Will Create A Good Ending For The Heroines

Chapter 523: Asasiel Island [V]

Chapter 523: Asasiel Island [V]

Rain braced herself... she felt wet down there and she was ready for him. Azel was already reaching for her panties too and he was very soft about it... he was gentle in a way that made her heart race.

’If it was Reinhardt, he would have just ripped them off roughly and forced himself inside without any care for how I felt–’

She stopped herself sharply, forcefully cutting off that train of thought.

Why would she be thinking about Reinhardt at a time like this? Again and again he haunted her thoughts... it was as if he was a ghost that could never leave her behind, always lurking in the corners of her mind.

Rain wanted to put everything behind her and move forward with her new life. The life that she had lived back then was not the same as the life that she lived now in this timeline.

That life had been full of competition, manipulation, and pain disguised as love.

Here she had people that actually loved her. Sure Azel surrounded himself with more women than he could count but there was a reason he was staying with them all.

There was a reason everyone had been so worried when he left to the Underworld, why they’d waited anxiously for his return.

They loved him and he loved them too. It was that simple and that complicated.

She never thought she would be doing it with someone that had kids though, not that she minded but wasn’t Azel a bit too young to be a father?

He was younger than her chronologically even if you didn’t count her regressor years.

Well, when someone had a lot of hot women like that around them constantly, one of them would naturally end up being pregnant. It was inevitable really.

’If we survive this... will they call me Aunt Rain?’ She thought with a mental grimace.

She was going to join another man’s harem but this time, it was not a harem where everyone was competing viciously to have sex with someone that could sacrifice their lives in an instant.

This was different... This was someone that actually cared about each of them as individuals, not just as conquests or possessions.

"Haangh~" She let out as Azel grabbed two of her asscheeks and felt her up properly, disconnecting from their kiss to gasp.

His hands were strong and firm, squeezing against her ass like that.

Maybe it was because his hands were so big compared to her body or maybe she was just more sensitive down there than she remembered being.

"Gentle~" She breathed out.

Azel slowed down immediately, going a lot more gently as he caressed her back there with care. Before Rain could even blink, she found herself flipped over.

She was the one on the ground now and Azel was right above her, his body hovering over hers and making her heart skip several beats.

His silver hair fell forward slightly and his crimson eyes looked absolutely amazing from this view, looking down at her with genuine want. It made her heart skip another beat and he placed a hand next to her head to support himself.

His other hand traced down her side slowly.

"I’ll make sure that all you think about tonight is me and nobody else–"

"SKREEEEE!" One of the malformed half demons screeched loudly while flying above them in the darkness, making Rain flinch hard.

The demon didn’t look in their direction and it seemed to have not noticed them at all, but still, it was quite surprising and killed the mood instantly.

Azel was still moving his face closer despite the interruption and Rain blushed even harder.

She had asked for this, yes, she had practically begged for it, but she didn’t feel so sure about doing it right here on the ground anymore or even in the tent.

What if she got an infection from the dirt? Or what if another demon flew by and actually saw them this time?

"Az... could we maybe postpone it till after we kill the Demon Lord?" She asked while closing her eyes tightly. "I... I want my first time in this world to be on your bed. In your home... Not on a demon-infested island."

He stopped moving and rolled to the side of her, laying his back on the grass with a small sigh.

"Sure, since you’re so chicken about it..." He teased with a slight grin and she blushed furiously while fumbling for her discarded shirt and attempting to put it back on with shaking hands.

"I’m... I’m not a chicken at all. I just want a very clean and safe environment to do the deed properly. Does that sound like such a bad thing to ask for?" Rain asked and gritted her teeth in frustration.

She was still wet down there and her body was screaming at her to just do it anyway, but she had to hold back her more lustful tendencies for now.

They had Demon Kings to defeat tomorrow and then a Demon Lord to stop after that. She also wanted to question a lot of people on that royal council back in the Capital.

They had been sent here to die deliberately, there were far too many things to ask about and investigate but she wanted to focus on the major thing first, which was surviving.

Rain placed her face on his chest comfortably and he ran a hand through her blonde hair making her sigh contentedly.

"We’re facing those Demon Kings tomorrow morning, are you confident in defeating them?" She asked quietly.

"As much as I’ll ever be. No matter how strong they are, I’ll be stronger." Azel replied while looking up at the starry sky above them.

None of them could hold a candle to Baal’Zaroth after all... That devil still gave him chills just thinking about their encounter, the sheer overwhelming power that creature had possessed was too much.

’I’ll get much stronger and then go kill him for what he did to Rene...’ He thought with cold determination.

He couldn’t care less about what happened to Rene’s mother and the fact that she had died after accomplishing her mission of killing Baal’s son.

That was her choice and her mission but that bastard devil had killed Rene, an innocent child, and it was more than enough for Azel to hate him with every fiber of his being.

’I don’t know how I will manage it but I swear on everything I have... I’ll kill him someday...’ Azel thought darkly and Rain noticed the sudden serious and cold expression that crossed his face.

"I want to take on one of the Demon Kings myself tomorrow." She told him firmly and he turned to face her with an eyebrow raised in surprise. "What? You’re not confident I can handle myself in a fight?"

"I’m worried you’ll get hurt badly."

"Nonsense... Just because I agreed to become one of your wives doesn’t mean it’s suddenly your sole responsibility to protect me from absolutely everything dangerous." Rain said with some heat. "I’m still older than you by decades, don’t forget that fact."

Azel raised an eyebrow skeptically.

He wasn’t so sure about that claim considering his own circumstances, but was he going to refute her and start an argument? No. It would just cause more trouble than it was worth.

"From the memories I extracted, I got detailed information about the two Demon Kings we’ll face." She said, pointing at the two long towers in the distance that were the only structures that could be seen rising above the beautiful trees.

"They live on separate towers and there are two of them. One has some sort of powerful Gravity-related magic alongside his Demonic Magic, while the other has the power to strike people with diseases and plagues. Naturally since I’m the Saintess with holy healing, I’ll handle the second one."

"I see." Azel told her and sighed. "I trust you Rain... if it’s a battle that you can’t win then escape, you can’t have me becoming a widow now... A Hero without his Saintess wouldn’t make sense, hey that rhymes a bit."

"I won’t die, stop worrying so much." Rain said and then leaned upward, kissing him on the lips before pulling back. "Now let’s prepare and get some rest, we have a day ahead of us tomorrow."

...

"Grmmmgggrrreregegr." In what looked like a destroyed and crumbling throne room, several half demons kneeled in front of a tall being that sat on the throne and they were all grumbling incoherently.

That was their only way of communicating since they couldn’t form coherent words or sentences properly however the being tapped its leg onto the ground once and all of them flinched in terror.

What followed was crushing, overwhelming gravity. Their bodies didn’t even have the time to react or scream as they were crushed into nothing but blood that sprayed all around the room and even toward the being’s body.

However the blood just popped out of existence before touching the being, disappearing as if it had never been.

He dropped one leg from the other and placed both feet on the ground solidly. He looked like a human except with very pale skin, so pale that he almost looked sickly and unhealthy. Long black hair flowed past his shoulders and a singular sharp horn came out of his forehead.

He wore expensive royal robes that dragged against the ground even while he was sitting down and there was a dead empty look in his eyes.

’They sent us all here... to die...’ He thought bitterly.

All of this, everything happening here, all of Malazhara’s suffering and pain was caused by those despicable, manipulative humans. As much as he wanted to rip out their heads and mount them on spikes, he was a mere Demon King.

If even the Demon Lord herself was completely powerless before them, then what did that make him? Nothing... Less than nothing...

The demon stood properly on the ground, standing at perhaps seven feet tall as he walked over slowly to the open window and overlooked Asasiel Island spread below.

The Hero and his Saintess were here now, exactly as those people had planned all along and then they would kill everything on this Island in order to break these barriers and escape.

The Demon King could not blame the Hero for any of this, after all, it depended entirely on whose perspective you looked through.

From his perspective, humans and even the Hero were evil invaders and from the Hero’s perspective, they were a necessary evil that needed to be purged because they were members of the Demon Lord’s army, very important high-ranking ones even.

They were Demon Kings after all.

’Life is very ironic and cruel...’ The Demon King thought while closing his eyes slowly.

While he would desperately like to talk to the Hero and tell him everything, the full truth about what was really happening, if he did that then Malazhara’s head and everyone else would be sent flying by a powerful curse those humans had inflicted on all of them.

It would only make the dragon stronger.

... So all he could do was to accept what he was given. Either die to the Hero’s very first attack like a coward, ending his pain and suffering quickly and pathetically.

Or... He fought. He fought until the very end, giving himself the relish and honor of a final proper fight before ultimately dying to the Hero’s overwhelming power.

The Demon King didn’t have much time left to make that critical choice.

From outside the window, he could see a massive slash that was absolutely full of divinity heading directly toward the tower at incredible speed.

It was packed with so much concentrated power that it would cut him apart in an instant if it connected.

He closed his eyes slowly and took a deep breath, letting it fill his lungs then he opened them again with newfound resolve.

’I hope you somehow survive this cruel design that they’ve trapped you in, Malazhara... Your big brother’s story will end here on this island.’

He thought as he prepared himself for what was coming.

From a distance away, Azel wiped a bit of sweat off his forehead as the tower was completely cut in half by his divinity-infused strike.

The top half of the massive structure fell down and hit the ground with tremendous force, rattling violently and producing an earthquake around the entire island that made everything tremble.

"He’s still alive after that..." Gwendolyn told him with some surprise as she floated at his side.

From the wreckage of the collapsed tower, a streak of movement shot directly toward Azel at blinding speed.

As Malthorak moved, the air itself seemed to collapse inward upon the surroundings, leveling the ground and small buildings in his path, crushing and destroying every demon that had the misfortune of being nearby until he landed several meters away from Azel.

A whole crater formed in the surrounding area from the sheer impact of his landing, the ground shattering beneath his feet.

"I am known as the First Demon King, Malthorak the Immovable!" The Demon King had gotten rid of the heavy royal garments that had lined his body, leaving only a pair of simple black trousers and showing off his extremely fit upper body covered in old scars.

"I, Malthorak, am well aware that I will die here today on this battlefield! But I will not go out like a pathetic bastard who simply submits to his problems! I will fight them head-on until my body cannot move again and until you take my life with your own hands! I have absolutely nothing to lose anymore, Dear Hero, so discard your blade and let us fight with our fists until our hearts are content and you are holding my heart in your hands!"

The man took a proper combat stance as the intensity of the gravity around him spread further outward, causing devastation as more and more demons in the area died from the crushing pressure.

However the gravity didn’t affect Azel at all as he threw his sword to the side without hesitation and took on a combat stance as well, his muscles tensing beneath his shirt.

"I wouldn’t have it any other way..." He said seriously as the two of them rushed at each other with explosive speed and clashed in the center with tremendous force.

If the constant oppressive gravity from Malthorak hadn’t been able to eviscerate the lives of demons nearby already, then the violent clash of holy magic and demonic magic that followed most certainly would finish the job.

The shockwave from their initial collision alone leveled everything in a hundred-meter radius, turning buildings to rubble and demons to paste.

...

Outside the second tower stood a woman with long flowing black hair and blood-red crimson eyes.

She stood on the ground waiting patiently for the being that was coming in the distance, while wearing expensive royal clothes as well that matched her husband’s.

’Malthorak...’ She thought, feeling the energy of her beloved husband soar high in the distance.

He was already partaking in this insane final battle, they should have just committed suicide together and died in each other’s arms.

’What am I even saying? That is not how a true demon thinks at all...’

Perhaps living among the humans for so long had infected her mind and corrupted her thinking, but that was all it had been for far too long now. Her, Malthorak, Malazhara... all of them trapped and suffering.

She didn’t know how the humans had found them that fateful day, but one day they did and ever since then, there had not been a single day that they had not suffered under human cruelty.

All of this was because of humans! The Saintess, the Hero, it did not matter who they were individually... These were all humans in the end.

The humans were the reason she had lost her precious child. They had killed and taken her baby daughter away from her!

They had abused her little girl repeatedly, taking every bit of innocence from her until there was absolutely nothing left of the child she had been.

They had assaulted her daughter, violated her, broken her, until she finally died from the trauma and abuse.

She could not forgive them.

She would never forgive them. Even if she did not manage to kill these two, all of them would eventually die! They would all die absolutely horrid deaths when the Dragon came.

The person she had been waiting for finally stepped into her line of sight.

A woman wearing a flowing holy cloak with a veil over her head covering her face, while clutching a staff that had a golden orb within it. The woman seemed to radiate pure holiness and peace.

It was a complete opposition to the burning hate she felt in her heart—

"Your kind... All of you demons... They have caused the death of a woman I saw as a mother figure, I do not care if you’re not the specific one that took her life." Rain said while clutching her staff tightly as holiness radiated outward from her body, dousing the streets and banishing the darkness completely.

"I will kill all demons, whether it be foot soldiers, Demon Kings, or even the Demon Lord herself. All of you will die by my hand..."

The woman almost chuckled darkly at that declaration. The Saintess according to what she knew from stories and legends was supposed to radiate holiness, peace, and compassion for all living things but the woman standing under the veil was none of those idealistic things.

She held genuine hate and rage in her heart and it made the Demon King laugh bitterly at the irony.

At the end of the day, they were all just clothes cut from the same line... all driven by hatred and loss EXCEPT HER HATE WAS MUCH GREATER!

"The feeling is absolutely mutual, Saintess." She said as her eyes turned completely pitch black darkness swirling in them. "I am Pestilara the Rot Queen and I will curse all humans to an eternal rot! There will be nothing left of anyone in your pathetic kind when I’m done!"

She spread her hands out wide and rot followed immediately, spreading outward rapidly and covering everything in the distance. Buildings dissolved like acid had touched them, the very ground itself turning black and putrid.

However her plague magic did not affect the Saintess at all, who seemed to have a powerful barrier of holy light around her entire body.

Rain raised the staff up high and pressed the bottom firmly to the ground. Her own eyes glowed brilliant golden behind the veil.

"That’s enough, Beast... Let there be..."

A wave of holiness like Pestilara had never seen or felt before was called forward, engulfing her rot completely and spreading pure white light across the corrupted world.

"LIGHT!"

The concentrated holiness exploded outward powerfully, creating a similar devastating shockwave of pure power that wiped out demons in a massive radius around them.
