Chapter 545: Apocalypse!

Chapter 545: Apocalypse!

"DODGE!"

One of the tanks on the front yelled as the Wild Boss raised its trident in the air and abruptly smashed its bottom end to the ground!

Bang!

Slithereen Crush!

The ground slightly shook and suddenly, water magically gushed out like a wave in the surrounding twenty meters of the Naga, stunning everyone caught in the AOE attack.

Slithereen Crush!

Slams the ground, stunning and damaging nearby enemy land units. After the stun, the affected units are slowed by 30%.

Effect radius: 20 meters

Stun duration: 1.5 seconds

Slow duration: 3 seconds

'Crap!'

Everyone caught within the attack only had one similar thought in their minds, to curse.

They knew they're in trouble and watched in horror as the Naga prepared for another swipe attack and swung it!

"Hang on!"

During that time, the others who were fortunate weren't idle as they also threw whatever support skills they had in their possession for their friends to be able to survive the monster's following attack!

"Dodge it!" someone yelled.

The stun effect had already worn off and everyone tried to get away or block it. Unfortunately, their two legs weren't fast enough and the attack had already reached every single one of them!

"Ahhh!"

Every player within the AOE radius was flung away screaming and like the many others before them, several of them had turned into motes of light and were ejected out of the game, including their most prized tank, Maverick.

"Mav!"

Minerva yelled in anger when she saw what happened and quickly raised her stave towards the skies and yelled,

Apocalypse!

A huge magic circle immediately materialized in the sky and in the blink of an eye, a five meter in diameter meteorite came out of the magic circle and smashed down towards the Naga like a bullet!

BOOM!

"Defensive measures!" Miya yelled when she spotted the huge magic circle in the sky, but her voice was immediately drowned out by the sound of the explosion caused by the impact, and dust billowed everywhere.

The billowing dust would have been mistaken as a sandstorm passing by with the low visibility and if you listen carefully, there's the ever present noise of several people coughing within the cloud of smoke, and if you look close enough, there's also the sight of a defensive barrier, broken and filled with cracks.

"That..that's intense" Storm Moonlight placed her hand down that she used to shield her face and watched the resulting scene below.

Ripley looked at the half kneeling woman beside them and said, "That's a first, I guess that's your trump card. Apocalypse, such a devastating skill"

Minerva chuckled, slightly helpless, she replied, "A last resort, it kills people indiscriminately, friend or foe"

Storm Moonlight shrugged her shoulders and said, "You should have used it from the beginning. It would have at least minimize your losses"

Minerva slowly supported herself up with the use of her stave and snickered, "We at least got the desired result I wanted"

"Hmmp! It doesn't change the fact the we just lost our Main Tank"

The Wild Naga Boss - Level 35 Snorkal has been defeated!

World Announcement!

Congratulations to Flame Rose Guild for being the first to take down the Wild Boss - Snorkal, the first of its kind!

World Announcement!

Congratulations to Flame Rose Guild for being the first to take down the Wild Boss..

You have leveled up!

Minerva just smiled at reaching Level 37 and made her way down the hill, the other two, closely following behind her.

On the other hand, moments before Apocalypse, the old general who had just been calmly watching the battlefield before had a sudden slight change in his expression when he saw the magic circle that appeared in the sky, as if recognizing it.

"Hooo...I didn't expect I'd see another human using Elven Magic"

The Knight beside him also recognized the spell, "It seems like today's excursion wasn't spent in vain, General. Though the spell wasn't up to par yet, she has a promising future"

The old general snickered at the man's words and replied, "That's only if she acquired that spell legitimately, but if it's the opposite, then they'll hunt her down, those bastards!"

"Then shouldn't we secure her, general? She'd be an asset to the kingdom" the knight suggested.

The old general shook his head, "Not yet, we observe for now. If there's no movement from that side in three days, then we can talk about this again"

"Let's go, show's over!"

Then he turned his horse around and made their exit.

Present time,

"Status report?"

Minerva and the others arrived at the scene and went to look for her sister.

Miya looked at her sister and replied, "Bad, we lost almost half of our forces and we also lost our Main Tank and half of the frontline forces. Apocalypse killed a few of them, you know"

Scrunching her brows and with a slight tilt of her head, Minerva said, "That…I'll compensate those that died because of me, but let's think about the problem of personnel later. For now, let's secure whatever the Boss' had drop"

"Alright"

As the healers assisted the players in attending to their wounds, the guild executives headed to where the Naga had fallen.

The dust had slightly settled already, revealing a crater the size of seven or eight cars lined up together, and in the middle, there's a small pile of items scattered on the ground with two noticeable shimmering mole sized gold coins.

"This…I've never seen so much Boss Drops before" gulping down his saliva, one of the executives couldn't help but comment at the sight before them.

"Come on, the usual. The top five most valuable items will be auctioned, the proceeds will be distributed among the people. The rest of the items will decided through the dice"

"Hot damn! Look at this baby!"

Minerva had just finished her words when Cereal Killer had already gone ahead and pulled out of what's to be the miniature sized of the Naga's weapon, a Trident, shimmering in azure color like the ocean.

Deep Sea Trident (Unique) (Weakened) (Upgradable)

A miniature version of the War Criminal, Snorkal's prized weapon. It has been weakened due to the death of its Master.

It can repair itself by immersing it in sea water for a period of time.

Attack: 109-112

Armor Penetration: 3%

Special Skill: Slithereen Strike

Note: Do not even try to have a Blacksmith work on it, it will break. It's as hard and fragile as a diamond.
