Chapter 548: Golden Eyed Cat

Chapter 548: Golden Eyed Cat

Night, Flame Rose Guild campgrounds.

Most of the players in the guild had already left the game, the few who did not had left the camp and started wandering in the surrounding areas to hunt for monsters.

Leaving the campground very desolate compared to the bustling crowd a couple of hours ago.

Currently, there is only Minerva and a few, who remained at the camp doing their own things.

Crafting [Enhanced Mana Potion] failed!

"Darn it! This is already the third time! I'm going to run out of ingredients if this keeps happening!"

Minerva was starting to get frustrated as she kept failing to produce an Enhanced Mana Potion even after she had learned the recipe.

"Maybe I should just continue this later. Hopefully, I'll have better luck later"

Minerva took a deep breath and exhaled with her shoulders.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

"What th-"

Thump!

She was about to leave the game when the fabric on the tent entrance suddenly rustled as three shadows rushed inside and one of them covered Minerva's mouth and pushed her down on a nearby chair.

"If you so much make a noise, I'll kill you" a voice of a woman whispered, Minerva's eyes grew wide and immediately nodded.

She wasn't afraid of dying, but she's afraid of losing a Level if that happens.

After all, she had just recently gained one and in addition, it left her no choice but to listen to her words after she had seen the information floating above their heads.

Level ??? - Dark Elf - Shannon

Level ??? - Dark Elf - Nari

Level ??? - Dark Elf - Noor

'Damn, this is exactly what my Master had warned me about when using Apocalypse. I just didn't expect that they'd be this fast'

"Who are you and where did you get that spell? Wait, we know who you are. Just tell us where you got that magic spell" said the Dark Elf Captain, her voice full of callousness, but her companions were helpless at her clumsy words.

Due to that, Minerva's nervousness lessened a bit and calmly answered, "You're talking about Apocalypse, right? My Master had warned me that the Dark Elves would find me once the news I used it spread. I just didn't know that news would spread this fast that you guys are already here after only a few hours"

"Who is your Master?"

The Dark Elf Captain, Shannon ignored most of her words and added more pressure on Minerva's shoulder.

Direct Messages are unavailable during a Cutscene!

'What the?! This game has a cutscene?!'

Minerva tried to inform someone in the guild but was instead blocked by the system and was a little startled to see that kind of prompt from the game as it had never once happened before!

"Hey, are you deaf? Who is your master?"

Thump!

Annoyed at the sudden silence of the woman before her, Captain Shannon angrily kicked the chair and woke Minerva from her musings.

Video Recording...

Minerva's mind quickly went to work and she quickly activated the Video Recording function of the game, with the goal in mind of watching it and reviewing this scene later.

"My master, her name is Asuna, The Red-Haired Witch"

"..."

"I-impossible, she's already dead"

When the three Dark Elves heard the name that was brought up, all of them flinched at the same time. Even Captain Shannon couldn't help but take a step back as her voice faltered.

Looking at their expressions, Minerva slightly tilted her head to the side and argued, "But..she's clearly alive when I met her, healthy even"

"But that's impossible, she died during the Continental War. She sacrificed herself at the culmination of the war, allowing the Alliance to regroup and eventually win the war because of her sacrifice" one of the elf men explained, he found it unbelievable that he even stuttered.

"She's a Hero? How come there was no mention of her in the History books?" At this point, Minerva was even more confused but also excited at the same, because she could see it, another opportunity had once again opened its door for them!

"Isn't it because of you ungrateful humans? You bastards wanted all the glory to yourself and erased the contributions and sacrifices of most of the other Races" the Dark Elf Captain sneered, finally regaining her bearings after a moment of confusion.

"Don't direct your anger at me, I don't know anything about that. Anyway, are we done?"

The Dark Elf woman looked at her and replied, "No, mentioning her name is not enough"

"Just what do you want?" Minerva carefully asked.

"Proof, give us proof that you're her disciple and only then would I believe your story" The Dark Elf woman replied with her arms crossed.

"Isn't Apocalypse enough proof?" Minerva replied, this time, there was dissatisfaction in her voice.

"No, do you think we're dumb? Anyone can learn the spell, but that doesn't mean they learned it legitimately. Now, proof or else..!" Captain Shannon snorted and crossed her arms.

"Bitch"

Minerva softly whispered as she took off her upper armor, leaving only the plain white cloth underneath.

"What are you doing?" The elf woman felt confused when she saw her actions.

Minerva rolled her eyes at her and replied, "Didn't you want proof? Well, here it is"

She turned around and slightly pulled her shirt up, showing them her lower right back.

On her back, there was a tattooed head of a black cat with golden stars for its eyes.

"Check it" the elf woman said to her subordinates.

One of the elven men nodded and walked over towards Minerva and inspected the tattoo, his eyes started to shine in a green hue.

"It's real"

It took a minute before the elf man confirmed the authenticity of the tattoo. His voice this time was filled with astonishment and surprised at the result.

The other elf man suddenly felt that a new history is unfolding before his eyes and couldn't help but say, "Amazing, after over 50 years, a human was once again accepted to the fold"

"Tsk!"

The Elven Woman clicked her tongue, clearly unsatisfied with the result.
