Chapter 1604: 1603 Actually, no feeling at all
Luo Haofeng walked to the sofa and sat down, his tall frame leaning back lazily, and looked at Mother Luo who was walking over, “Mom, is your headache a little better?”
“I took some medicine, it’s not as painful tonight.”
Mother Luo sat down next to him, turned slightly, and examined him carefully, “Ah Feng, are you free tomorrow?”
“Hmm, no plans for now.”
Luo Haofeng yawned and stood up the next second, “Mom, since your headache has gotten better, I’ll go back to sleep first, I’m so tired.”
Mother Luo originally wanted to say something, but seeing Luo Haofeng about to leave, she frowned, hesitated for two seconds, and ultimately said nothing.
Luo Haofeng walked away from the sofa, heading towards the door, while reminding, “Mom, you should rest early too; staying up late can cause wrinkles.”
Mother Luo followed him to the door and called out to Luo Haofeng who had stepped out of the bedroom door, “Ah Feng, can you call your dad and see if he’s coming back tonight?”
“Sure!”
Luo Haofeng nodded and returned to his room.
He walked to the bed, picked up the phone placed on the bedside table, and dialed Father Luo’s number.
The phone rang twice, and Father Luo’s voice came through, “Hello, Ah Feng.”
Along with Father Luo’s voice, there was also noise.
Luo Haofeng frowned slightly and asked calmly, “Dad, my mom is asking if you are coming back tonight?”
“I told her this afternoon, I’m not coming back tonight.”
Luo Haofeng was slightly taken aback, but not too surprised. The relationship between his father and mother has become increasingly tense.
From Monday to Friday, Father Luo still makes symbolic trips to the company or accompanies Mother Luo.
Whenever it comes to the weekend, Father Luo seems like a bird freed from a cage, eager to fly to the ends of the earth.
“You told my mom? Then why is she still asking me to call you? Dad, my mom has a headache, you should come back.”
It was clear that Mother Luo wanted him to call his father back.
“Ah Feng, I’ve arranged a vacation with someone, did you come back from G City?”
“Mm, I came back tonight.”
“Your mom has a headache, just let her take medicine, I can’t cure her, I’ll hang up now.”
After saying that, Father Luo hung up the phone.
Luo Haofeng looked at the disconnected call, frowned, and threw down the phone.

Early the next morning, Tang Yang rang the doorbell at Qin Mu’s house.
After the doorbell rang, there was also knocking.
An Lin was awakened by the doorbell and knocking, and opened her eyes, noticing Qin Mu already out of bed.
“An Lin, sleep a bit more. I’ll go get the door; it’s definitely that pest Tang Yang.” Qin Mu was annoyed; that guy was really bothersome.
An Lin nodded, “I’m so tired, let me know if anything’s up.”
She yawned after speaking, and then closed her eyes to continue sleeping.
Qin Mu responded with an ‘okay’, walked out of the bedroom, gently closed the door, and coldly said to the person outside, “Stop making noise.”
Once he spoke, it became quiet outside.
Qin Mu went to open the door, and Tang Yang immediately raised the breakfast in his hand triumphantly, “Ah Mu, I brought breakfast for you and An Lin.”
“Up so early like a thief?”
Qin Mu glared at him, annoyed; he wasn’t someone who could be bribed with just breakfast.
Tang Yang followed Qin Mu to the sofa, placed the breakfast on the coffee table, and glanced in the direction of the bedroom, “An Lin hasn’t woken up yet?”
“She’s too tired, still sleeping.”
Qin Mu’s tone was extremely cold, thoroughly unhappy with Tang Yang’s morning disturbance, and it showed clearly on his face.
A gleam flashed in Tang Yang’s eyes, “Tired?”
Qin Mu opened the breakfast, and his clouded expression slightly improved seeing what Tang Yang brought.
“Ah Mu, An Lin’s pregnant, you guys weren’t still going at it fiercely last night, were you?”
Qin Mu gave a forced smile to Tang Yang, “Didn’t manage to climb into Feng Wanfeng’s bed last night?”
“What do you think I, Tang Yang, am?”
Tang Yang’s face darkened immediately; he was a decent man.
Qin Mu snorted disdainfully, “Don’t tell me you were able to perform even when you were dead drunk last time.”
“I was genuinely drunk, I don’t remember.”
Tang Yang’s gaze flickered as he stubbornly defended himself.
Qin Mu laughed twice suddenly and then said regretfully, “Then you probably don’t know what happened that night, you slept with the goddess you’ve long admired but felt nothing?”
“I…”
Tang Yang glared at Qin Mu, unable to speak.
“Alright, no more idle talk, tell me, what’s the matter coming to G City this time?”
Qin Mu stood up, carrying a breakfast into the kitchen, returned to the sofa moments later.
“Aren’t you gonna wake An Lin up for breakfast? It’ll be bad when it gets cold.”
Tang Yang asked in confusion seeing Qin Mu put the breakfast into the kitchen.
Qin Mu replied calmly, “It’s fine, she can eat when she wakes up.”
“I escaped myself, my dad and mom tried to imprison me my whole life, but they don’t count on their son being more formidable than Sun Wukong, no way they can imprison me.”
Tang Yang boasted proudly while Qin Mu gave a disdainful smile, “So formidable yet imprisoned for days.”
“I was giving them face, letting them cool off.”
Tang Yang frowned, questioning their friendship with such comments.
Qin Mu raised his brows, fed himself a dumpling, chewed and swallowed casually before asking, “Aren’t you afraid of being captured back?”
“Captured?”
Tang Yang snorted, “My dad won’t capture me back, he’s already announced in the paper this morning, not recognizing me as his son.”
“That severe?”
Qin Mu frowned, looking at Tang Yang with a questioning gaze.
His words were filled with contradictions; one moment claiming an escape, the next claiming his father disowned him through an announcement…
“Look at this.”
Tang Yang pulled a newspaper from his pocket, Qin Mu glanced at it, and indeed, it matched what Tang Yang had said.
Old Master Tang truly did announce to sever the father-son relationship.
“What have you done now?”
Qin Mu stared sharply at Tang Yang, knowing such a trick would only fool casual onlookers, not him.
Tang Yang scratched his head, straightened his body from leaning on the sofa, leaned slightly forward and said mysteriously, “I made a deal with my dad.”
“What deal?”
“It’s classified. I just need to solve this case, then he’ll agree to let me be with Wan Feng. Ah Mu, this matter is too big, even my mom doesn’t know.”
“Understand, I’ll keep it secret for you, but what’s this case-solving got to do with you being in G City?”
“Of course there’s a connection, but I can’t stay long. My mom will surely come looking.”
Tang Yang’s confident tone suggested ****** would probably arrive in G City by today, meaning he’d have to leave tomorrow.
“If it’s confidential, I won’t ask then. Whatever trouble you’re into is your business, does Feng Wanfeng know?”
