“Do you want me to accompany you?”

Bai Xiaoxiao asked, still worried.

“No problem, wait for my call at home.”

After speaking, Luo Haofeng kissed her lips gently before getting up to leave.

Just as he stepped outside, he received a call from the driver saying they lost track of the person.

Luo Haofeng frowned, asking sternly, “How did you lose track of them?”

“She seemed to notice me and went into a supermarket, and hasn’t come out for a long while… Should I keep waiting here?”

“Could it be that Meng Ke has accomplices in B City, or are they targeting Xiaoxiao here?”

This was what Luo Haofeng could temporarily think of.

“Maybe.”

Jiang Hui returned to the hotel at eleven o’clock.

Xiuchen opened the room door, seeing Jiang Hui standing outside. A flicker of surprise flashed in his deep eyes, “Why did you come back so quickly, didn’t you go out for a walk?”

Jiang Hui laughed brightly and playfully said, “I had the driver take me for a spin but didn’t find anywhere particularly appealing. Thinking of the afternoon’s work, I decided to come back.”

“Don’t worry about the work.”

“Has Mo General not eaten lunch yet? I saw the dishes in the downstairs restaurant looked good; let’s go eat together!”

Mo Xiuchen hesitated slightly, calmly answering, “It’s okay to take a look.”

Seeing him agree, Jiang Hui’s smile brightened a few degrees, and they headed to the restaurant downstairs together, where Jiang Hui surprisingly took the initiative to order food.
