Chapter 711: Method To Hide From World Tree, Practicing The Method

Chapter 711: Method To Hide From World Tree, Practicing The Method

The atmosphere between Isaac and Alice became increasingly heated as their teasing and flirting continued. Neither of them seemed particularly interested in backing down. Eventually, Alice stood up, grabbed his hand, and decided that they should go somewhere else.

Isaac did not bother asking where she was taking him at first. He simply allowed Alice to drag him along, curious about what she had in mind, until they eventually arrived at a quiet pub and entered one of the private rooms. Alice ordered drinks without hesitation, and Isaac watched her with a faint smile as she seemed determined to enjoy the evening.

"Don’t drink too much. We still need to have dinner later," Isaac reminded her once their drinks arrived.

Alice gave him an indifferent look before taking another drink, clearly showing that his warning had not affected her much.

"It will be fine. You worry too much," she said.

Isaac sighed and took a sip of his own drink, intending to make sure Alice did not overdo it. Unfortunately, she seemed to take his warning as a challenge, and before long she was encouraging him to drink along with her. The alcohol turned out to be considerably stronger than either of them had expected, and despite Isaac’s attempts to remain reasonable, he eventually found himself feeling the effects as well.

By the time they finished, both of them were clearly drunk. Isaac’s head felt strangely light, and his thoughts were slower than usual, while Alice had become much more expressive than she normally allowed herself to be. She leaned against the table and watched him with a gaze filled with affection, love, another, much more intense emotion. Lust.

Isaac was not calm either. His breathing had become heavier, and the warmth spreading through his body made it increasingly difficult to pretend that he was thinking completely clearly. He looked at Alice for several seconds, and she looked back without saying anything, as though neither of them needed to explain what was going through their minds.

Alice finally stood up and walked around the table. She moved closer until she was standing directly in front of him, and Isaac found himself wanting nothing more than to pull her closer, kiss her, and make love to her. His head was buzzing from the alcohol, and whatever rational thoughts he still had were becoming increasingly difficult to hold onto.

Alice reached for his hand and gently pulled him toward her.

"Let’s go," she said quietly.

"Where?" Isaac asked, wearing a teasing smile despite the fact that he was not thinking particularly straight. He knew perfectly well what she was suggesting, but he wanted to tease her a little and make her say what she wanted herself.

Alice stared at him for a moment before smiling in a way that immediately made Isaac regret teasing her.

"I need you to give me that Golden Nourishment Seed Buff."

Isaac froze. The name alone was enough to make him feel embarrassed, and Alice immediately noticed his reaction. A victorious smugness appeared in her eyes as she watched him struggle to maintain his dignity, clearly pleased that she had managed to turn his own teasing against him.

"You really had to call it out, didn’t you?" Isaac asked.

Alice nodded with complete seriousness, although the amusement in her eyes gave her away. "You asked me where we were going, so I answered."

Isaac rubbed his forehead before deciding that there was no point arguing with her. He opened the spatial fog, since he had no intention of waiting until they had to walk all the way back to their room. Alice immediately followed him inside while continuing to hold his hand.

However, as soon as they entered the Spatial Fog, Alice suddenly stopped. Because she was holding his hand, Isaac stopped as well and turned around to look at her, finding himself surrounded by fog that made it seem as though they were the only two people in the entire world.

In a way, that was actually true.

Within the Spatial Domain, nobody could see them due to the spatial fog. Isaac looked at Alice for a moment before realizing that she seemed unusually shy despite everything that had happened between them.

"Alice?" he asked.

Alice was twirling her hair around her finger, suddenly looking much shyer than she had a moment ago. Isaac raised an eyebrow and waited patiently, knowing there was clearly something she wanted to ask.

"Do you have something to say?" he asked.

"Can you feel the blessing of the World Tree right now?" she asked.

Isaac checked his connection and shook his head. "No. It seems the blessing only works while I’m on the World Tree. Since we’re currently in another dimension, it doesn’t seem to function."

"So the World Tree can’t spy on you while you’re here?" Alice asked.

"Yes, it can’t," Isaac answered.

His answer was serious, but Alice’s face somehow became even redder. Isaac could not understand why these questions were making her shy, although he found the change surprisingly cute. He really liked this version of Alice, because normally she hid almost everything she felt behind her indifferent expression, while now her emotions were practically written across her face.

"What about the Mirror Dimension? Would the World Tree’s blessing work there?" Alice asked after a moment.

"Hmm, I think it would. The Mirror Dimension is built on the foundation of the real world and remains closely connected to it, so I don’t think entering it would completely sever the blessing," Isaac replied after considering it.

Alice nodded slowly as she considered his answer. Her gaze then changed, as if she had finally made a decision about something she had been thinking about for a while. Without saying anything else, Alice reached into her spatial ring and took out a bed. Isaac stared at it in stunned silence.

He had a faint idea of what she was planning, but before he could ask, Alice spoke first. She avoided his eyes while twirling her hair around her finger, looking far more embarrassed than she had a moment ago.

"Now, give me that buff," she said shyly.

Alice looked so cute at that moment that Isaac could not help himself. He stepped forward and pulled her into a deep kiss, and Alice immediately responded as she wrapped her arms around him.

After that, Isaac stopped thinking logically about anything else. He picked Alice up and carefully placed her on the bed before joining her, and the two of them spent the rest of their private time together within the Spatial Domain, where nobody could see or disturb them.

By the end, Isaac felt as though he was dying from exhaustion. He had been hollowed out. His stamina, mana, and Aura had been almost completely drained, leaving him so exhausted that even moving his body felt difficult.

The Spatial Dimension was another dimension entirely, but Isaac still needed to maintain a faint connection to the real world. If that connection were completely severed, they could potentially become stranded there forever, and the skill he used to maintain it only lasted for a limited amount of time.

Isaac had to repeatedly extend that connection with his Aura while also making love to Alice. The combination had exhausted him so thoroughly that it felt as though they had been going at it for the entire night.

At least Alice was happy.
