Chapter 1334: Virgin [Bonus]

Sylas’ gaze flashed.

[Name: Gwenu Vamperraline]
[Level: 100]

[Physical: 10,131]
[Mental: 13,291]
[Will: 12,831]

Gwenu felt her body lurch as though she had been seen through completely. Her heart did leaps, and her forward momentum was thrown off.
In that moment, everything was happening so fast that she didn’t even have time to understand what happened. She couldn’t even recall the last time anyone had been able to forcefully see her stats.
Those above the D-tier who might be able to wouldn’t care to check on the stats of an E-tier, while those at her level or slightly above couldn’t because her Will was too strong and her protective treasures even stronger.
She didn’t even realize that Sylas wasn’t attacking her at all, but was instead just getting a read on her. And because of that...
BANG!
Sylas casually stepped out of the way as she landed face-first in the heavy stone, buried down to her neck.
Her body slumped over as she lost consciousness, her ass hanging in the air in a position that she would be all too embarrassed to recall in the future.
Sylas could tell that she wasn’t in the best of states before she chose to attack. But that also wasn’t really his problem.
Khan rushed over to the edge of the cliff. Seeing the scene below, he was rendered speechless.
"Shit! She has to be bedridden for at least another month! This girl!"
Rushing down in a flash, he thought about picking her up just like that and then thought better of it. He shattered the earth with a foot first before pulling her up.
A groggy groan left Gwenu’s lips as she slowly regained her bearings. She looked around for a moment, propped up on Khan’s shoulder before she blinked back to reality and shouted.
"What the hell?! Did you just look at my stats?! How did you do that?!"
Her head snapped toward Sylas a bit too quickly, and her vision swam again. She thought that she might pass out again, but she seemed to settle for throwing up instead, a stream of vomit oozing down Khan’s back.
"Fantastic. Just fantastic." Khan looked up to the skies, wondering what he had done in life to deserve being tortured like this.
"Where can I go to learn Skills?" Sylas asked Khan.
Khan gave him a look. "Don’t you want to rest or something?"
"No."
Khan opened his mouth to refute, but in the end, he shook his head. Two nutcases indeed. They were going to make a fool out of him in front of Master and Ekear.
Gwenu chuckled. "I don’t think you’re going to have a chance to do that. I’d take Khan’s advice and rest for a bit."
Sylas didn’t respond, and it seemed obvious he didn’t have much of a care to listen to either of them.
"Why don’t you take my advice too, then! You just set yourself back at least half a day."
Gwenu scoffed. "It’s not my fault. It’s his!"
"I don’t remember him challenging you, little girl."
"There’s nothing little about me. If you want a little girl, how about you go find a wife. How old are you already, and you still don’t have a family?"
Khan was speechless. "Why don’t you get on Master’s case about that? Why are you attacking me?!"
"Master is single by choice. You, though, I can never be certain. I don’t think you know how to talk to women at all."
"Me?! I can’t talk to women?! I have plenty—!" Khan stopped talking as though he felt he was being baited.
Gwenu scoffed. "No one’s baiting a virgin like you."
"If anyone’s a virgin, it’s Sylas. Do you think he knows how to talk to women? Just look at his demeanor. He let your face hit the floor! He has no sensibility for the fairer sex."
"Are you making fun of me?!" Gwenu tried to struggle out of his arms but obviously failed. "It would just be my luck to have two virgins for disciple brothers. I can’t show my face anywhere."
Sylas listened to this from start to finish, not having much of a reaction. Seeing that they weren’t going to tell him what he wanted to know, he slowly began to rise into the skies.
The howl of the Hollow Wing shook the skies, and in a flash of Runes, he was dressed, his trench coat flapping in the air.
Gwenu blinked and looked toward Sylas’ back.
"I take it back. I think you’re the only virgin here, Khan. You really should get some help—definitely a stylist or two. You’re weighing everybody down."
Khan’s next words were caught in his throat. Sylas hadn’t even said anything to defend himself. What the hell?
However, just as Sylas was about to vanish into the distance, the world rumbled.
Gralith stepped out of the void, a platform of violet beneath his feet. His expression looked stern.
He swept a gaze, looking toward Khan and Gwenu, before finally landing on Sylas.
"How are you feeling?" he asked.
Gwenu scoffed in shock. "Does this mean I’ve lost my baby-of-the-family status? Master actually asked about him before me."
"Great," Sylas replied calmly.
"Can you fight?"
"Yes."
"Can you fight a battle you can’t lose?"
"Easily."
There was a flash in Gralith’s eyes.
"Good. Come with me."
"Wait, wait! I can fight too!" Gwenu scrambled.
Khan picked her up by the scruff of the neck—well, the scruff of her robes, that is. She flailed, kicking and screaming as much as her body would allow, but clearly Khan wasn’t letting her go.
"Fine, fine! Just let me go and watch!"
Khan looked up to his master, and Gralith only nodded.
They could both understand Gwenu’s feelings. As unruly as she was, she knew quite well that whatever was happening now was because of her. She wanted to take it on herself, but her body was clearly in no state to do such a thing.
It seemed that her junior would have to take the charge for her.
