Chapter 1499 Legendary Harmony
Chapter 1499 Legendary Harmony
[Madness (Gold)] - Progenitor
[The Madness consumes you, but does not control you. Instead, it becomes your tool to both control yourself and others. You, while steeped in Madness, maintain your wits about you. Your enemies, though, are not so lucky] [+10000% Charisma]
[+10000% Wil]
There was a certain wave of peace that came over Sylas, the branches of his True Pride Seed sinking into him so far that they wrapped around even the deepest layers of him, even down to his Potential itself.
It wrapped around it like a tight vice, and yet it didn't feel out of place at all. Instead, it felt it had always naturally been a part of him.
The feeling was fascinating because Sylas had never felt this way the moment he got a new power before, at least not unless it was his Spark Seed itself.
Somehow, the True Pride Seed was rewriting time, making it feel as though he had been born with it rather than gaining it after birth as was the truth.
And now...
[Progress to Tier Five Madness Disciple]
[Feed Madness Key F-Grade 100 Legendary Genes (Complete)l[Accumulate 10 000 000 Taboo Points (Complete)] [<(N/A)/10 000 000>][Unlock Seed Manifestation (Complete)] Sylas had already become a Tier Five Madness Disciple, but before, the Seed Manifestation progress tier was blurred out. That was because the little girl had helped fill in the blanks for him.
By overfeeding her, she was able to bend the rules for him by taking the place of the aura of his Gluttony Seed. However, it seemed that he had reached it on his own now. [Progress to Tier Six Madness Disciple]

Sylas only casually glanced at the screen for Tier Six. He didn't plan on using the little girl to do this; he felt that he had gained enough and it didn't seem like the Scorned Wraps were going to undergo any huge stat buffs.
Instead, he had just wanted to see the name of the next step for his Seed.
What he was seeing now wasn't just a name, but the essence of it, his Ancient Ithkuil still working in spades.
He understood what it meant even without grasping it fully.
He pressed another hand forward and cleared another wall, and then another.
He continued to accumulate rewards until he finally came across the last Legendary Genes he needed.
Speed. Intelligence. Charisma.
Will.
Along the way, Sylas had found not just one, but multiple 30-day Free Gene Elixirs. In fact, he had received four of them.
What was shocking about them was that they didn't have a Tier restriction like the others Sylas had come across. Meaning, they could be used even after he was in the E- tier, or the D-tier, or even beyond.
Sylas stored them all and didn't even hesitate to do so. He had no need for them in the F-tier any longer so long as it was a normal common Gene.
Of the four Legendary Genes he had come across, he failed to assimilate with Charisma, but just the same as before, his mastery of Runes was so exceptional at this point that he reverse engineered it with ease, pressing it into his body a second time and succeeding.
For the other three...
He had no need to do so.
And when he faced off against the final of them, pressing a Legendary Will Gene into his body, Sylas felt like he was watching his own life flash before his eyes.
His body reached a state of perfect harmony, and he felt like his stats seamlessly spilled over into one another, almost becoming altogether meaningless.
His stats collapsed and suddenly he was truly only seeing three...
Physical.
Mental.
Will.
This was just a feeling and wasn't actually happening, but it illustrated the... wholeness Sylas was experiencing.
He could feel how Speed and Strength went hand in hand. Wasn't Speed a matter of who could exert the most power along the ground in the shortest period of time?
He could see how Constitution and Dexterity blended into a single being. One's flexibility, how fast they could fire their muscles or change directions... wasn't it highly dependent on the punishment one's tendons and ligaments could take?
He could feel the coupling between Dexterity and Strength. How could you come to an explosive stop if your quads weren't powerful enough to decelerate you on a dime? How could you exert your Strength to the highest degree if you were tactile enough to focus it properly?
Sylas' comprehension of his stats became like a complex web in his mind, each one connecting individually to every other one. If he focused on any one stat, it felt like they could easily become the center of them all, but the moment he shifted his attention to the other, it almost felt like it didn't make any sense to have been so focused on the former at all.
He hopped from one to the next, and then the next, and then the next following even it. One fell into place so seamlessly after another.
Until his mind felt like it imploded.
[Mixed Demonic Arts (Legendary)]
[You are the center of your own universe. Your body is beyond a temple, carrying the radiance of an infinitely small point of light, and yet encompassing a vast array of potential far beyond] —
That was all. There was no percentage boost, no further explanation, no description of what abilities it gave him. Just... Nothing.
And yet Sylas was all too certain that it had instantly become his most powerful Comprehension, more important to him than even Madness, and that was because of one very good reason.
