Chapter 2286: Orders of Magnitude
Chapter 2286: Orders of Magnitude
Sylas sat in silent meditation for a long while until his eyes suddenly… A flash echoed through the world. It felt less like a gaze had opened up and more like the final echoes of a supernova. A dense, swirling mass of potential churned endlessly within Sylas, his power spilling out from the depths of every one of his cells.

Sylas looked at his status page indifferently. The numbers meant little to him, but they were undoubtedly the reflection of power nonetheless.
Not long ago, he had run into a genius of the Demonic World back on the Mortal Plane that had stats in the 20 and 30 millions. They had been level 121.
When Sylas was at Level 150, the pinnacle of the D-tier, he had long since crushed that by more than an order of magnitude. Now that he was at Level 200, he was three orders of magnitude beyond it.
The thing was, though…
These were adjusted stats.
When Sylas stepped onto the Demi-God Plane, his status screen had shifted.
That was to say that while it seemed he was "only" three orders of magnitude stronger than the Demon of back then… He was more like six.
If he was back on the Mortal Plane, his stats would read…

Sylas stood, exhaling a slow, controlled breath.
For the first time, his Will had far surpassed his Physical stats. But there was a good reason for that.
Because of his Void Sovereign Class, his Will had practically infinite room to expand. The limitations his body normally placed on it were nowhere to be found.
That was all to say that even though his body was capped at around 11 billion stat points right now… with telekinetic martial arts, he could easily exhibit the equivalent of over 200 billion.
But when it came to how much power he could exhibit beyond that between his battle intellect, his Comprehensions, and his Runes… well… There was a reason he didn't care very much about the numbers.
Even so, he was curious about one thing. How did his stats measure up to the geniuses of the Demi-God Plane? He had a decent idea because he was used to using Will pressure to decide a person's power. But he hadn't been able to penetrate the defenses of those around him to check their actual stats recently.
He should be able to do that now.
Sylas stepped outside of his room of meditation, feeling the void swirling around him.
The gap between the Planes was definitely a good place to study and comprehend the void. It was a blockage that could hold even Gods back from crossing over easily, it definitely had a lot to teach him.
And as interesting as it was, the gap between Heavens might be just as fascinating.
Now he had a direction to go in. If he wanted to make it to the B-tier as quickly as possible, maybe the solution was to try and travel to another Heaven.
Unfortunately, he had too many problems here to settle first.
The Beast Sanctum would be rising in just over another three months or so. And there was still a certain Sin Clan Quest he had yet to clear.
However… he had a feeling that that would be handled very soon. Maybe even the system couldn't have possibly expected for Sylas to find a chance so quickly.
Sylas' body flashed and he appeared in a large temple that looked carved out of light rather than stone. It was the operations center of the Genesis Concord.
It wasn't long before he found Cheri and she had already successfully organized everything of the guild… or so she thought, until she questioned Ryn and realized there was a lot more here than she could have ever possibly guessed.
When Sylas appeared, Cheri stiffened. It had already been half a day and she wasn't even finished with the guild she was most familiar with. There was no way she could finish both in the 24 hour time limit Sylas had given her.
Sylas' gaze flashed and Cheri felt an overwhelming pressure crush her Will into shattered pieces of glass.

[Cheri Nethum (CCC-)]
[Level: 200]
[Physical: 2,279,993,117]
[Mental: 2,001,666,983]
[Will: 2,902,889,992]
—
Cheri felt completely exposed. A cold sweat drenched her back, her heart rate accelerating.
'CCC-…' Sylas nodded to himself.
That meant that if there was a tier system of geniuses, Cheri was probably at the fourth rung or so. The third rung would have CCC geniuses, the second would have CCC+ geniuses, and the first rung would also be those at CCC+, but only because there was no higher rank. They were definitely beyond the normal limits of the C-tier.
Those people probably had stats around 10 billion just like Sylas.
Their Wills, however… there were very small odds they had Will anywhere near his own.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't fast enough," Cheri looked down toward the ground, her hands shaking.
A deep disgust welled up in the pits of her stomach. When had she become so utterly cowardly?
It wasn't just fear. It was almost like she just didn't want to disappoint Sylas himself.
"It doesn't matter. I didn't expect you to succeed."
Cheri blinked, but Sylas was already clapping his hands together.
PA.
An echo of a shattering sound barrier covered the entire world in an instant and then the core of the Genesis Covenant shook as Sylas' Hibernation Realm shrouded over the entire thing.
Since there was no time to organize it, he would just take it.
And then he would do the same for the Stormfall Covenant.
Overnight, two guilds who stood firmly amongst the upper middle powers of the Demi-God Plane vanished.
