Chapter 1360: Chapter 32: Return to the Owner_2
The clues are all mixed together, and the answer is self-evident—
[Einstein himself is the founder and president of the Genius Club.]
Lin Xian speculated.
Einstein’s mental journey over the years should be like this:
Initially, Einstein was despondent about the future of humanity and felt depressed every day; but later, after being persuaded by Douglas, his mood improved significantly. He regarded the young Douglas as a close and trusted friend.
Subsequently, Einstein got inspiration from the hydrogen bomb explosion footage and successfully calculated the answer of the cosmic constant, 42.
Here, a bizarre phenomenon, unexplainable by science, occurred. According to Einstein, two space-time particles suddenly drifted out of a crack behind him, one hit him, and the other flew toward Lin Xian but ultimately struck the First Generation Pillar, CC.
The outcome was that CC turned into blue stardust and dispersed, triggering a 24-year cycle of reincarnation through centuries of space-time; Einstein, however, gained an immortal body, with time halting in his presence, living as long as the world, and could glimpse both real and false futures.
Here are several unexplainable paradoxes:
1. Why did the strange phenomenon happen around Einstein after calculating the cosmic constant 42, while nothing happened to Big Face Cat’s father, Chen Heping?
2. Why did identical space-time particles striking different people cause different outcomes; is the reason rooted in CC and Einstein, or in the nature of the space-time particles themselves?
3. The future Einstein saw does not match the real future.
This is the most intriguing point.
The kite string behind Lin Xian’s head is actually another manifestation of the Space-Time Clock.
As long as the kite string remains unbroken, it means the future of this world line is the history Lin Xian has experienced.
The world line is as rigorous as its unique space-time coordinates—
[No matter how twisted or turbulent a world line is, standing on the same world line means seeing the same history and future.]
Take, for example, world line 0.001764.
On this world line, the nuclear war in 1991 did not occur.
Perhaps, on other world lines, this nuclear war did happen, but that is not important. As long as the history is absent on world line 0.001764, it is impossible to see this nuclear war, whether looking forward or back from any point in the river of time.
Therefore, this creates a contradiction.
If Einstein’s vision of the future was true, Lin Xian’s kite string would have to break, and the world line would leap to one where a nuclear war occurred in 1991.
Even if later, Einstein found a way to prevent the nuclear war and realigned the world line, it could only happen after reaching the [irreversible anchor point].
In conclusion.
Einstein from 1952 absolutely could not have dreamt of The Ninth Dreamland and seen the unfounded global nuclear war of 1991 while his kite string remained unbroken.
"Two people, standing on the same mountaintop, cannot see two different views."
Sitting aboard a swiftly moving plane, Lin Xian spoke softly with his eyes closed:
"History and future are the same."
"[Einstein and I, both standing in 1952, absolutely cannot see two different futures.]"
"Since the future I experienced is real and humanity did not perish in 1991, then the future vision Einstein saw in 1952...must be false."
It’s not difficult to verify this conclusion.
Once in Brooklyn, just confront Einstein directly.
It is now 2234.
Lin Xian doesn’t worry about the kite string, doesn’t fear temporal flux, doesn’t dread world line jumps...he is without concern and can do anything he wishes.
Thus, he continues pondering, analyzing Einstein’s mental journey.
After gaining the omniscient ability to glimpse the future, Einstein must have seen Douglas’s blue eyes, likely believing Douglas had the same ability to foresee the future.
Once again feeling a close affinity with Douglas, Einstein invited Douglas to join him in saving the world and the future of humanity.
Only that...
As Douglas’s true self, Lin Xian slipped away before the kite string broke.
Einstein certainly wouldn’t give up on saving the world.
So, he founded the Genius Club, attempting to prevent the tragedy of human self-destruction.
Over these years, Einstein must have made many efforts, yet the results have always been unsatisfactory.
Currently, Lin Xian does not know what "future of human self-destruction" Einstein saw besides the 1991 nuclear war, but the future Einstein sees indeed differs from Lin Xian’s...
The future Lin Xian sees, the world ends with the World-Ending White Light.
The future Einstein sees, for the most part, involves human self-destruction.
"It feels like there’s a hidden conspiracy behind this matter."
The plane gently descends, emerging from the clouds.
Outside the window.
The lights of the Mi Country continent are clearly visible.
years is a long time for humanity, short for the Earth.
The coastline and mountains of the Mi Country show no alteration.
But on the ground...
The world has changed.
...
After landing at the airport, Lin Xian boarded a vehicle, heading directly to the western suburbs of Brooklyn.
Watching the street scenes along the way.
No trace of familiarity remains.
The Empire State Building is indeed gone, the Brooklyn Bridge renovated beyond recognition, let alone the Clock Tower once dangled from by Spider-Man, and the highland promenade where fireworks were once set off for CC...
