God's Eyes

Chapter 1034 Last Hope!

Chapter 1034 Last Hope!

"You do know, that you will take up several millenia to understand every single book?" The Goddess asked, apparently baffled by Jason's request.

"Even if you were to read every single book just once, it will take you more than 200 years… Our library is huge…big enough to fit our desperate efforts of 500,000 years to accumulate more knowledge to solve our issues without anyone's help…

Don't underestimate our efforts!"

Somehow, Jason's request angered the Goddess because it seemed to belittle their efforts and hopes of returning to their home.

But then once again, it was certainly for the best if Jason were to increase his knowledge as much as possible!

However, even then she didn't expect to see Jason pointing at his eyes before he said,

"Trust me, I have my ways to imprint everything in my eyes."

Upon hearing him, the Male God looked at Jason in confusion, believing that he misunderstood something, only to halt in his tracks.

He stared right into Jason's eyes, only to blurt out subconsciously,

"You mean…mind, right?"

Jason just shook his head before inserting some mana into his eyes. They began to gleam in a bright golden color, subconsciously increasing Jason's confidence in front of the Gods.

"No, it's my eyes, not my mind… please just give me permission for all sections of the library. Well, if possible, give it to Jennifer as well because we would have to test out quite a few things with the prototypes of the device.

After all, we have to test its safety as well!

After I'm done researching, and procuring knowledge I will also need resources to practice forging and rune inscription.

I know I might be asking for a lot, but I am pretty sure that the two of you understand that it's a necessity.

Using the most compatible resources for everything will be mandatory!"

It was obvious that Jason was eager to manufacture the device the three of them were talking about.

After all, it was not only helpful for the High Rulic Dwarves, but Jason as well.

And his interest increased, even more, when they talked about adding the function to cross the overlapping void barriers of two Universes.

This was quite intriguing, and also something Jason would want to have as a function in the device.

Jennifer could end up venturing through a different dimension, Universe, or even in the overlapping void barriers while exploring the vast Universe.

Jason wanted to prevent any scenario where she would be unable to reach him.

As such, adding the function was a necessity as well, allowing Jason's mind to be at ease.

"Alright. That is great… but how much is your forging experience? You seem pretty young, so I doubt you were able to forge weapons for Demi Gods already?

Well, that should be quite obvious because your cultivation base is only at the Specta stage…"

The Male God kept observing Jason and evaluating him for a long time.

He had seen the recording of the young Celestia halfling nearly killing a Demi God while being at the Specta stage.

However, killing something at that cultivation base, and forging weapons, and armors, let alone forging the tiniest parts the device required was something he wouldn't be able to do at the Specta stage.

As such, he simply added,

"I believe that the device you want to create is nearly comparable to your God's Halo! It is obviously different, and inferior, but I think you will need the help of two Gods, who spend nearly their entire lifetime forging, inscribing runes, and manufacturing a wide variety of devices!"

The Dwarf God seemed rather nonchalant with what he said, which was a sharp contrast to his earlier behavior.

Meanwhile, the Goddess looked at her husband, clearly understanding what he had meant with his words, only to hear Jason's confused voice.

"Does that mean we are working together in this, or…you are willing to share your vast knowledge with me?"

The things that had happened during the last few minutes were quite confusing, but Jason simply acted as if he understood them.

If he understood them properly, receiving the help of the Two Gods would be a huge gain and relief.

And that was not only for the creation process of the device all of them wanted to use but also for Jason's future.

Not only was Jason eager to start inscribing runes on the God's Halo, but he was also looking forward to finding out more about soul weapons if it was possible.

'And while having a happy time studying, forging, and rune inscribing, my cultivation will progress passively…that's just too great!'

If he and Jennifer hadn't come up with the plan to research the device that allowed them to be together while being separated, he wouldn't really have anything to do and work on, to begin with.

In fact, Jason was pretty sure that he would have only focussed on cultivating until he would reach the Driekta stage, and become a Demi God.

Somehow, this didn't even feel special anymore because the only thing he was currently supposed to do was to create Sona seeds.

Once his body was filled with them, he had to fill the Sona seeds with his cultivation energy, meaning both mana and divine energy.

His interest in Soul weapons was also quite huge because no race other than the humans from Argos seemed to have focused on that.

This was quite interesting because it indicated that other races might have missed noticing something exceptional!

At that moment Jason recalled something else that was no less exceptional than the existence of Soul weapons.

"Ahhh, by the way, if a few beasts seek asylum somewhere, I will gladly take all of them in! I already told the Mana Beast God about this as well, and she will send some beasts over if they're willing to stay with me!"

This comment of Jason was as confusing as the entire discussion they had had so far.

As such, the two Gods simply nodded their heads before waving their hands as they felt a big headache sweeping through their minds.

"This brat…even until now, I cannot tell whether he is just taking advantage of us, or if we would gain something through him…" The Dwarf God mumbled, shaking his head, only for the Goddess to say,

"Well, both sides would gain something…if everything works out well, we can return…to our family!"

When the words were framed like this, the Goddess' suggestion made sense, and the Dwarf God just nodded his head, accepting that their fate relied on Jason.

It left a bad taste in his mouth, but it was not like they had a different way.

Their efforts of 500,000 years had been useless, after all!

And now, the being that the prophecy stated had finally arrived, but their expectations had been shattered.

After all, they had expected some sort of genius to arrive, and solve all of their issues at once.

Unfortunately, the genius was just a little young lad who had yet to live a millenia!

And his knowledge was also insufficient at that!

But even then, Jason's existence was quite unique, to begin with.

As such, the two Gods looked at him as if he was their last ray of hope.

'It will be fine…right?'
