Everyone was done with their exploration. They started returning to the meeting spot one by one. It didn’t take long for everyone to gather together.
Inside the control room, the zero puppet reminded me. I opened my eyes and stood up. When my gaze fell on the mirror, I saw that the others were waiting outside.
Then, I brought everyone inside the hall one by one. After gathering everyone, I started asking them questions.
"So, how was the island?"
"Did you guys find anything interesting?" I asked them.
"I just found a quiet place to consume the resources," Lady Caitlin said.
"I also found some rare herbs," Old Man Rock said.
Hearing that, I raised my eyebrows and said, "I have a feeling that it won’t be long before you are completely cured."
Old Man Rock replied, "I have that belief as well."
Otto and Patrick said some positive words as well.
Hank raised his eyebrows and said, "I found this terrain to be different. There are many openings connecting to the underground of the island."
"I think the underground passage leads under the sea," he added.
Hearing that, everyone looked at him in surprise.
Otto and Patrick looked at each other. They had just fought against the terrifying 10th Grade Lake Monster.
"Master, we came across a large lake in the middle of the island. The lake leads under the sea," Otto said.
"We encountered a 10th Grade Monster there. I spent a good amount of time fighting against it, but ultimately, the monster overpowered us. We then left the place," Patrick said.
"A monster," I muttered.
I had confirmed using the system earlier that there was no danger on the island.
"System, what’s going on?" I asked in my mind.

I heard the system reply in my mind. Then, I understood its meaning. If there was a space below the island, then it was normal for sea monsters to use it.
Maybe that lake had a passage connecting to the undersea. Curiosity arose in my heart. I had a way to explore the sea; I had that relic bead with me.
I had gotten it during my previous mission. I could use it to check the lake. Elder Erwin had been rescued as well, so I wasn’t under any pressure right now.
"Okay, you guys can return to your rooms. Use the resources given to you," I said to them.
Hearing that, the members agreed and returned to their rooms one by one. The next period of time would be for quiet training.
Once everyone was gone, I collected my thoughts and went to the control room. I brought the zero puppet outside with me.
Then, we started heading toward the middle of the island. I flew at a low altitude, and the red smoke followed from behind.
As time passed, I used the system to figure out the exact location, and it didn’t take long for me to get there. I saw a not-so-massive lake.
But it was large enough for a 10th Order Monster to live in.
"System, check whether the lake has any monsters," I ordered.
[Ding! No monsters were detected in the lake.]
I heard the system’s voice in my mind. My eyes flashed with a glint. If the system said that no threats were detected, then it had to be true.
"So, what’s going on here?" I asked myself.
Then, my gaze fell on the lake. It had black-colored water, which was strange. However, my vision could see through the surface.
Next, I looked toward the zero puppet. I realized I had never taken the zero puppet with me to explore the sea.
"Can your body withstand the underwater pressure?" I asked.
I knew the zero puppet had a Magic Lord Level body and could handle the pressure, but I wanted to know whether there would be any reaction.
"Master, I can handle the pressure," the zero puppet replied.
Hearing that, I decided to take the zero puppet along with me. Next, I took the blue-colored bead from the system space. I had never thought it would be useful to me one day.
Next, I poured mana into it.
Buzz!
The blue bead became activated. In the blink of an eye, a blue layer enveloped me. Then, I brought the zero puppet and entered the water.
We started swimming toward the bottom of the lake, but it didn’t take long for me to understand the difficulties.
