Chapter 2195: Erwin Couldn’t Believe It

Chapter 2195: Erwin Couldn’t Believe It

The group of wizards thought that Elder Sullivan was speaking to the unknown wizard. They were waiting for him to come back.

Stuart was curious. He wanted to see the face of the Magic Lord who had threatened Elder Sullivan. It was rare to see Elder Sullivan get scared.

But he suppressed his curiosity. He knew what would happen if he offended the wrong wizard for no reason.

Especially if the wrong wizard happened to be a Magic Lord. He didn’t dare take any risks, but the wizards behind him were having different thoughts.

One of the two male wizards behind him said, "Stuart, why don’t you go and check?"

"I’m sure the unknown Magic Lord knows about your family background," he added.

"Yes, if you go and check, you can solve the problem. Elder Sullivan seems to have been talking for a long time," the second person said.

The two female wizards were quiet, but they were scared as well. They had less confidence in Elder Sullivan solving the problem, as they had never seen him scared before. They were afraid that the unknown Magic Lord might attack him.

"Why don’t you go and check?"

"Elder Sullivan seems to be scared," one of the female wizards said.

The other female nodded her head as well. Now, Stuart found himself in a difficult position. If he didn’t go, his image would suffer damage.

But if he went there, there was a chance to offend the wizard. Stuart hesitated.

Seeing that, one of the male wizards said, "Stuart, why are you hesitating?"

"You have items given by your family. You can use them," he added.

Hearing that, Stuart’s eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

He couldn’t wait any longer; otherwise, he would continue to hear things from them. His friend was right.

He had items from his family that he could use during a crisis, even if the current situation didn’t necessarily warrant their use.

Stuart made a decision and departed. He followed Elder Sullivan’s route and continued flying in that direction.

It didn’t take long for him to see the silhouette of Elder Sullivan. There was a masked wizard standing in front of him.

Unlike he had expected, the conversation seemed to be smooth. He stopped in mid-air and did not go any further.

He decided to wait and watch from there.

On the other hand, I deactivated the Whale Deterrence.

Gasp!

Elder Sullivan began gasping for breath. He was totally terrified. He thought that the wizard in front of him was hiding his true strength.

"He is a Forbidden Wizard," Sullivan thought to himself.

"I’ll tell you everything I know. We were doing a mission inside the large wilderness out there," Elder Sullivan said.

He then continued to talk about the missions.

I stopped him once I had gotten enough information. Then, I shifted my gaze towards the blue-haired wizard.

I turned towards the old man and said, "You can go now."

Swoosh!

After saying that, I used the space layers to travel again. In a flash, I disappeared from the spot.

Elder Sullivan sensed the space layers as well. He confirmed that the masked man was already gone miles ahead through the space layer.

They wouldn’t be crossing paths again.

Sigh!

He heaved a sigh of relief. Next, he turned back and saw Stuart standing in the distance. Seeing him, his expression changed drastically.

Swoosh!

He disappeared from the spot and appeared in front of him.

"Why did you come here?"

"Are you out of your mind?" Elder Sullivan scolded.

Stuart said, "Elder, I was worried. That’s why I came here to help."

Hearing that, Sullivan’s expression eased.

He then said, "That masked wizard was hiding his true strength. He is likely a Forbidden Wizard. He wanted answers to a couple of questions."

"He basically needed some information. I told him. Then he went on his way," he added.

"Forbidden Wizard," Stuart muttered, horrified internally. Fortunately, he had made a last-minute decision to stop and observe from a distance.

Sullivan saw that Stuart was scared.

"That person is gone now. We should leave this place as soon as possible," he said to him.

Stuart collected his thoughts. Next, they returned to the group. From there, the wizards resumed their travel, but they increased their speed this time.

...

Magic Union Territory

A couple of days later, I returned to the home territory. I had traveled non-stop those past few days, so I decided to make a stop at a nearby border city.

I didn’t want to return to the magic city right away. I still needed to think about Elder Erwin, and I decided to bring him out later.

A few minutes later,

I entered one of the mid-sized border cities. I used the identity of Appraiser Frank to get inside.

I found a stay inside a big hotel. After settling down in the room, I appeared inside the system space.

Then I saw that Elder Erwin was recovering. He was out of danger now. I checked using the system and found out about his health condition.

Elder Erwin still needed dedicated, deep treatment. Some of the injuries were severe and could hurt his future wizard path.

I had a good idea in mind. I appeared behind Elder Erwin and touched his shoulder. The next second, I brought him back to the living room.

Forbidden Wizard Erwin was about to use a magic spell, but when he opened his eyes, he was shocked to the core. He recognized the person in front of him.

"Vincent Carey, what are you doing here?" Erwin asked.

Then he noticed that the current setting was different. They were in a completely different location.

"I rescued you from the underground prison island," I said to him while he was looking around the room.

Hearing that, Erwin turned towards Vincent Carey. He was about to ask how, but then he saw through the strength of the young man.

Erwin felt a big jolt in his heart.

"Magic Lord?"

"You have advanced to Magic Lord," Erwin uttered in shock.

"Yes, I came across some big opportunities," I replied.

Silence!

Forbidden Wizard Erwin was quiet. He was digesting the information as he kept looking at Vincent Carey.

The mana presence coming from Vincent Carey was proof that the young man was a Magic Lord.
