Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System

Chapter 494 - Vessel

Chapter 494 - Vessel

Inside a small corner, one of the few alleys where the light didn't reach and shadows proliferated, Rue Octave was sitting, his back against the smooth but cold wall.

His breathing was shallow and raspy, beads of sweat soaking his face and whole body in a worrying way.

His eyes were wide open, the color of his pupils changing between golden and golden. The two seemed alike, but the difference was all too apparent.

His hand was dripping with golden blood, coming from the corpse of Castria sprawled on the ground on his left side.

Castria's head was cracked open; the place where the brain should be now nothing but eerie emptiness.

The sight was chilling, and Rue was drowning in fear.

He didn't know why he killed his friend. He didn't know why he took out the brain and ate it.

But Rue also realized that it no longer mattered.

Instead of Castria's soul going to the Spirit World, it was absorbed inside his own soul. And with two souls, Rue was no longer Rue.

Not quite.

Only a wisp of his True self remained, and that wisp watched with cold dread at the being sitting calmly inside his Mind Palace.

"All of this," Rue's voice trembled uncontrollably, "All of this is because of you?"

His words were directed at the woman sitting on a throne in front of him, her golden eyes capable of frosting the whole universe because of how rotten with apathy they were.

Her green hair weaved gently behind her shoulders, smooth and silky. She was naked, like Eve in Eden; and if she cared about it, her stony face gave no indication of it.

"Two Records..." Aurelia, The First Abomination, whispered to herself, feeling the two records she once stole fusing into each other inside Rue's existence.

"Still not enough." She muttered again, a note of dissatisfaction in her

tone.

She was getting impatient.

It was not easy to taint, to poison even, the stolen Records of everyone with a fragment of her existence. But she did it so many times with them.

However, the more difficult task was to bring most of these Records together and create her own existence from scratch once more.

It was work that could span hundreds of years, but Aurelia was not willing to wait that long.

She had elves to slaughter. And not even death, with her soul sent into oblivion and a Progenitor, would stop her from her quest.

She was surprised by herself, not knowing she could be this petty. She was never like this, but Aurelia probably guessed that all of this was because of the youngest.

Her lips threatened to pull into a smile, but she swallowed it down.

There was an issue left to resolve.

And her current situation made her choose the last option.

Aurelia focused back on Rue, looking at this wretched man as if he were something she had vomited out of her mouth.

He was nothing but the errand boy of Soleil, but still Aurelia saw in Rue more possibility of use.

Making up her mind, she made a beckoning gesture at Rue. In one

instant, the man was in front of Aurelia, floating and twisting upon himself like a trapped worm.

"What-!"

"My Vessel." Aurelia spoke, her voice like icicles piercing Rue's ears, "You will be my Vessel, Wretched, until my existence is fully complete. And you will go toward all those whose records I have stolen and kill them if necessary."

"What?" Rue's eyes immediately went wide, "Light above, no!" He shook his head, "I cannot do that! Look at me, I am nothing but Soleil's slave! You want me to kill all of them? Including the Forbidden Stolen Records?"

Did the First Abomination lose her mind after death?

She wanted him, Rue Octave, to fight the likes of Horus?

"Just kill m-!"

"Silence." Aurelia said coldly, golden eyes burning deep into Rue's

own, "Death will be the last thing you will have in my care. That, I promise you. No choice has been given to you. Your weak mind cannot handle my intrusion."

Her hand snapped, coiling tightly around Rue's throat. His face instantly went red, his veins bulging, threatening to burst.

Aurelia continued, her voice getting colder and more murderous by the second, "In either case, you will be used as a tool. You have two choices: accept willingly to be a tool or unwillingly."

Rue choked, the breath leaving his lungs.

"M-My fate?" Rue managed to ask, Aurelia's grip tightening more and

more. She really seemed ready to kill him.

"Your fate?" She laughed harshly, mirthless. "I have seen what you did

to Premier."

"Soleil!" Rue managed to shout, "Soleil did not-!"

"It matters not." Aurelia cut his mindless words, "You tortured the son of my brother. You tortured my own nephew an uncountable number

of times. Do you think it's over?"

Aurelia smiled coldly,

"We never forget, Wretched. I am coming for all of you. And you shall

be the first."

Aurelia flung him away, causing Rue to crash down on the ground, rolling a few times before coming to a stop.

The fall was painful, but it was dwarfed by the overwhelming terror cloaking his whole mind.

Premier had been freed by the Dreamspawn and his sister. They could attack at any time.

And Soleil had been sent away with Horus, not knowing the danger to his life, with Aurelia's hand sick with hatred toward them, holding

tightly to Horus in a way even he was not aware of.

Now here he was, used as a vessel for such a walking terror.

He sucked in a deep breath, but found himself unable to do so. Even breathing became something to fear.

Rue only had the time to sit on the ground, looking at the icy fire of vengeance burning inside Aurelia's eyes before his mind returned back to his body, beside the dead corpse of his friend.

He was still conscious of himself, but he could also feel that his body

was no longer his.

It was like a puppet knowing he was a puppet; knowing that every

move, every action, and every decision would never be his again. In one instant, Rue had become the spectator of his own life. He

opened his mouth to cry, yet instead laughed.

It was not him laughing. Aurelia was.

So he laughed, and the wisp of his soul cried for him.

Meanwhile, Aurelia was still laughing inside Rue's Mind Palace. Her

laughter was mirthless, filled with the thought of having Esmeray, the elves, Soleil, and the Celestial...

...all fucking dead or even worse.

They really thought they could touch them and not bear the

consequences?

"That's not how things work." Aurelia said, her laughter dying down,

"Still, this Wretched will not be up to the task ahead."

She paused, looking overhead,

"I need it back," she spoke out loud, "you are making things

unnecessarily difficult."

The Records chimed coldly.

{How, I painfully wonder, did you regain your true memories and

identity?}

"You know it well. Stop wasting my time and give it back."

{Stop your bullshit, Earth.}

Aurelia sighed tiredly, "Sky, don't talk to me now. Where is Harmony?

Or even Cloud? Or even Dancer and Meadow? You are the least of us I

wish to speak to."

{You only have me today. You have sacrificed your Seed in order to be who you are now. You cannot take it back.}

"Give me yours. I can shift it into the Seed of Earth. Despite my dislike

of you, we are the two sides of the same coin."

{I wish you death, Earth. We told you it was a foolish idea. Yet you did

not listen. All for what?}

"The two of them are worth the price. You have seen them, I was right! Now with my True Memories I can-!"

{You are late, then, Earth.} Sky almost snorted. {The Second Child of

Sin has been manipulated by Lilith's firstborn. His soul is no longer

his.}

Aurelia's face suddenly darkened.

"What?" -End of Chapter 494-
