The Third Prince’s Late Night Sneaking.
“Lizbeth……..why won’t you accept me…….”
…….while I was on my way to the training hall to do my daily swings, I ended up running into Robin of all people.
Or rather, what the hell is this guy doing near the Scorpion palace at this kind of time. Go back to your own palace dammit.
Anyway, if he notices me, that’d be annoying in its own way so, I decided to take a detour back the way I came, when.
“Huh? Prince Rudolf, are you already done with your daily swings already?”
“!?!”
Aaaaaaaaa!! Why did you have to appear now of all times Maya!?
Also, if you speak in such a loud voice, surely Robin would also notice me………and sure enough.

Looks like this guy really isn’t going to let me go off today.
“………Brother Robin, would you mind letting go of my hand? I plan to head to the training area right now.”
“Oh……..? Leaving your fiancée Lizbeth alone, eh?”
He grinned as if mocking me, and stared at me.
He makes these expressions almost always but, this time, I felt a strange sense of unease.
After all, ove the last half year, this guy had never showed up in the Scorpio Palace even once.
So then why today, of all times……..
“hmph. Well, I’m sure you’d only trouble her by being beside her so, in a way, it’s admirable that you know your place.”

I was starting to tire of simply talking to him so I just looked into the distance and started giving vague replies.
Can this guy just let go of me already………..
“Hahaha. You should stay away from Lizbeth in the future as well.”

Finally, he let go of my arm, and then left the place in seemingly good mood for whatever reason.
“………hey Maya, I’m thinking of following after Robin but, what do you think?”
“What a coincidence. I was thinking the same.”
We both nodded at each other, and then snuck behind him while making sure he doesn’t notice us.
And so.
“I most certainly don’t think of this man as my elder brother but, this is still beyond pathetic at this point………”
Without a shred of shame, he was currently desperately trying to unlock the door to Lizbeth’s room……….or rather, a room that was actually not in use but he probably thought was Lizbeth’s room. Unable to watch anymore from second-hand embarrassment, I covered my face with both of my hands.
“I didn’t think he’d fall this low but I still leaked some fake info just in case, but to think, it’d actually show an instant effect like this.”
Maya eyes as she spoke and looked at Robin were as dark as the void itself.
I mean, seriously, who would honestly think that he’d actually try to sneak into the room of his younger brother’s fiancée so late at night after all.
Not to mention, Lizbeth was still 14, not even a full adult yet you know?
No matter the circumstances, this was a travesty.
“So, what do you think we should do?”
“Well, we should see how things turn out next and………wait.”
“……..Once Prince Robin unlocks the door and goes inside, let’s lock the door from outside and trap him in, shall we?”

While I was discussing our next course of action while hidden in the shadow of the corridor, at some point Lizbeth had sneaked behind us and gave a suggestion of her own.
By the way, I have never seen her make the kind of utterly chilling expression she was making right now.
“fufu……..I hope he unlocks the door soon. I have feeling we’ll get to see some really funny scenes tomorrow morning thanks to that.”

Seeing Lizbeth snicker to herself, I couldn’t help but shudder in fear.

“Ah, looks like he managed to unlock it after all.”
“Maya, go and quickly lock the door from outside, and do not open it until tomorrow morning no matter what.”

Getting her orders from Lizbeth, Maya happily ran towards the door and instantly closed and locked it tight shut it after making sure that Robin was fully inside the room.

“!?! Hey, someone!! Open this door!!”
A, ahahaha……….Robin had started to shout in a loud voice and was slamming at the door.
But if you do that, it would only make it easier for other servants to find out that he was sneaking inside this palace as well though.
“Maya. Until tomorrow morning, make sure that no other servant unlocks the door for him either, understand?”
“Of course. How could I ever let go of such a funny…..ahem, I mean, such a scandalous problem.”
Both Maya and Lizbeth looked at each other with a toothy grin.
Wanting to get rid of this second hand embarrassment somehow, with my shoulder drooped, I decided to head to the training area and dedicated myself to my sword swinging practice instead.
