Chapter 65

Chapter 65

Is this Dinner going to be okay………?

“Lord Rudy……..”

Dressed in a vivid blue dress with silver coloured highlights, Liz was already waiting for me at the gates of the boys dorm.

Eh, wait. Was Liz really standing her in front of the boys dorms in this getup all this time?

“!! Y-you can’t be doing that!!”

“Kyaa!?”

I instantly grabbed Liz by her shoulders, and brought my face close to her.

“This is a place filled with animal like boys who have no sense of modesty or honor you know!? If the world’s most beautiful woman came here, you’ll be subject to a shower of filthy gazes!!”

“a,auu………”

Indeed! All men are the same as Robin and Wilhelm!

If they saw my Liz, all men would break off their engagements and try chasing after Liz!

“I’m glad nothing seemed to have happened today but, next time, you will wait for me to come pick you, no matter what!! Understand!?”

“uh, Yes!!”

How weird………even though I was being so angry, why was Liz smiling so happily? She’s cute though.

“As expected of Prince Rudolf. You know exactly how to make Lady Lizbeth happy.”

“?”

I’m not sure what Maya’s talking about so, I could only make a confused look at her.

We-well, whatever, that’s not important right now.

“Anyway, Liz………I am of course, very happy that you came to pick me up first instead. Truly, thank you.”

“Yes…….Lord Rudy, I love you.”

Hey did you hear that? Liz, she said she loves me.

What do I do? I’m so happy, I could fly away right now.

“*ahem* let us hurry up, or else you two will end up making Lady Sheila wait far too long.”

“”ah……….””

Damn you Maya, ruining our beautiful mood.

That said, she was right, and we needed to pick up the pace.

I knelt in front of Liz, and then took her hand.

“Then, shall we be on our way?”

“Yes.”

And so, we departed to the cafeteria where Lady Sheila awaited.

.

.

“Our deepest apologies. Did we make you wait too long perhaps?”

“Oh not at all! I arrived just now as well!”

When we entered the room, Sheila was already inside, and seated.

Hmm……..in contrast to Liz, she was in a deep crimson dress.

But.

“……………….”

Was this girl really 15 years old?

It didn’t stand out  that much when she was in her uniform but, in a dress, well……..she certainly quite mature in some areas, a bit too much, I’d say.

“………….Lord Rudy.”

“!?! N-now then, come, take a seat Liz.”

Hit a piercingly cold voice, I returned to my senses, and quickly helped Liz sit down in a fluster.

Of-Of course, Liz had the better style……….I’m not lying okay?

“Prince Rudolf, will you like to have some alcohol?”

“We only just turned adults so fruit juice will do just fine thank you.”

“Understood.”

Maya continued as usual but, I wanted to have my first drink together with Liz, just the two of us.

I’m pretty sure, she’s never drunk any yet either.

But……seeing Maya look a little disappointed, was she perhaps hoping to get us drunk and make a fool of us, she was wasn’t she? Seriously, our personal maid was really a menace………

“Then, let us cheers. To our new academy lives, and to our meeting with Lady Sheila.”

“ehehe, Cheers.”

“……….Cheers.”

Liz alone, didn’t seem very ‘cheerful’ per se.

T-This is simply a formality among nobles okay? So let this one slide please……..

“!! wow, it’s delicious!”

Taking a taste of the marinade fish, our hors d’oeuvre, Sheila broke into a smile from joy.

Well, Maya personally prepared our menu today. As long as there’s no carrots in there, it’s bound to be utterly delish.

“Liz, what do you think?”

“Of course, it’s delicious.”

“That’s good to hear.”

Seeing Liz also enjoying her meal, I too smiled.

I’m happy if Liz is happy after all.

“So……..may I ask, why exactly did you wish to invite us to dinner tonight?”

We were in a private room, and Maya, our top spy, was also here so I’m sure no one could hear us right now.

I disliked being too roundabout so I went straight to the point and asked her.

“?? of course, it’s because I simply wanted to have dinner with both you Prince Rudolf and Lady Lizbeth……..”

Sheila answered, seemingly innocent.

She had this calm and gentle atmosphere about her so it was hard to tell if she was being genuine or not………..well, not actually.

“I see. Then, I suppose we should simply enjoy this lavish meal till the end and nothing more.

“…………………………..”

The moment I said that, Sheila shut her lips, and stared at me.

Faced with my little mean tease, she only had silence to offer.

“haah……….how strange. Normally, most men are quite easily fooled with just this though.”

Sheila sighed, and stuck her tongue out.
