I, a Simple Villager, was Reincarnated as an Infamous Tyrant Prince from 300 Years Ago!

Chapter 84

Chapter 84

Let’s try and figure out Wilhelm’s true motives.

“u-umm………..Prince Rudolf, did something happen……..?”

Having entered the class a little later, Sheila looked at the surroundings and nervously asked.

From her point of view, suddenly entering this situation was bound to leave her a little confused.

“Well actually………”

I pointed at Wilhelm, and then explained the exchange between Liz and the other noble girls.

“Uwaah………I missed it all. What a shame.”

Sheila pouted, looking vexed.

As for her, I guess she really must have wanted to see Liz look cool considering she’s pretty much become a Liz stan.

“In any case, the matters over so let’s recollect ourselves. Now, we can just hope that they can think for themselves for once.”

Saying that, Liz walked past the stupefied Christel, Wilhelm and the rest of the girls as if they didn’t even exist and then went and sat down on her seat, and started preparing for the class.

“Lady Christel……….thank you for standing up for my sake. And Lizbeth, thank you for your warning as well. Next time, I will fight with all that in mind as well, and win for sure.”

“L–L-Lord Wilhelm……….”

Eeeh……….I’m the opponent though?

And yet, why was he declaring his pre-emptive victory to Lizbeth instead.

But, perhaps because of Liz’s warning, unlike before, Christel seemed to be a little more hesitant now.

It’s fine if it’s slow like this, but I hope that these girls can avoid falling into Wilhelm’s clutches as well.

If they too were to get deceived like Liz, it’ll only bring them sadness and misfortune………ah.

“Prince Rudolf, I will investigate the noble girls as well as the boys that are watching from a distance, afterwards. And also why Lord Wilhelm came back to the academy so quickly even after getting injured.”

“You sure?”

Hearing the whispers from Sheila was staring at Wilhelm like she was looking at trash, I ended up replying that inadvertently.

“Of course. I owe a great debt to both your highness and Lady Lizbeth, so as long as it is within my power, I would love to be of help to you both.”

“Lady Sheila………you have my thanks.”

I smiled and gave my gratitude to Sheila.

But.

“muuuuu……..”

“Li-Liz!?!”

My dear fiancée clearly didn’t appreciate that little interaction between us as she was fully puffing her cheeks.

A,ahahaha……….it would seem Sheila was a bit too close when whispering in my ear I guess.

As proof, she forced herself between us to put distance between me and Sheila.

.

.

“From what I’ve gathered from talking to other noble boys and girls, apparently Wilhelm said that [taking a leave for my recovery would basically be accepting my loss], which is why he’s still here.”

During the lunch break, me and Lizbeth were seated at the terrace as we listened to Sheila’s report.

But still, eehh………that’s an interesting way to phrase things.

“…………to be unable to even accept his defeat, he truly is a pathetic man.”

Saying that, Liz frowned.

Liz would never compromise when it came to anything related to the art of war, so I imagine Wilhelm’s words must sound like completely unforgivable to her.

“In regards to that, one part of noble girls are in full support of Wilhelm although, there is another section of the girls that are quite confused why Wilhelm is so fixated on Prince Rudolf as well.”

“Is that so…………”

Well well, that’s a good sign.

If all goes well, I hope Wilhelm gets slowly isolated as they all lose their trust in him.

……….well, that man’s certainly got a knack for lying so I imagine it’ll be difficult for that to happen.

“So…….what do you plan to do about that man Lord Rudy?”

“hmm………..”

I crossed my arms as I began to ponder.

I just can’t seem to take what Wilhelm said at face value and instead, I think I want to further investigate properly why he showed back up at school so soon.

I’m confident, Wilhelm definitely has some kind of plan.

If not, he wouldn’t come back while he’s still struggling to walk without pain.

“………regardless, we have no choice but to ask Anne who is tasked with keeping an eye on Wilhelm.”

That’s right……..I’ll need to get the details from Anne.

Because I never got the report from her that Wilhelm had come back to attend the school even once.

“My mother is still in the capital as well, I’ll ask her to get the Andersen family to look into it a bit as well.”

“Thank you. Please do.”

“Yes!”

Since I already had the backing of the Fahlcrantz family, at first I was thinking of keeping a distance from Sheila……and the Andersen family by extension and, since the matter with Robin was solved, it’s a little for strange for us to be working together like this now.

But, after knowing Sheila’s true character, well that might be a bad way to put it but, anyway, I know that she’s not someone that wants to cause harm to Liz, then I guess it’s fine to ask for her help like this with her now being Liz’s friend and all…….

Ah, of course, I won’t acknowledge her as anything more than her friend though.

Anything more than that, is my territory and mine alone.

“In any case, let’s all gather info and then share it with each other when we meet for dinner three days from now.”

“Understood. Ehehe…….anyone that dares bring harm to my Lady Lizbeth, I, Sheila Andersen will personally eliminate them all.”

“Hold up. Liz is mine and mine alone, understand?”

As Sheila grinned while boldly declaring that, I quickly set things straight.

Seriously, I can’t keep my guard down even around her it seems……
