I Only Summon Villainesses

Chapter 486: Turning Obedience Into A Preposition

Chapter 486: Turning Obedience Into A Preposition

I walked up behind Maggie and stopped there. My gaze settled on the two platforms she had for a rear, round like a pair of overgrown peaches.

Without turning, her voice rolled out.

“What are you doing?”

I shrugged, though she couldn’t see it.

“Are you disturbed by my presence?”

She glanced sideways, only halfway, then faced forward again and said nothing for a couple of seconds. When she finally spoke, it came slowly.

“I vaguely remember the time before I met the Cardinal who brought me into the church. She was a generous woman. An epitome of love, the kind I looked forward to emulating. At some point I think I worshipped her more than I did the King of Kings himself.”

She seemed to shudder.

“Time was not kind to her…”

I smiled.

“Time is not kind to anyone.”

She glanced back at me and frowned.

“No. It was especially cruel to her.” The words came on strong, then she paused and took the next ones one at a time. “She was aging, and fast. She wouldn’t say so, but I knew something was wrong. Until the end, she never did.”

She turned to face me fully.

“Would you help me find out?”

I gave her a smile, brighter than the last one. Then I took her hand. Her fingers were cool, and they didn’t move in mine, though this time she didn’t pull them away either.

“We’re family. I’ll do anything for you. All you have to do is ask.”

She nodded.

“Thank you… Cade.”

My name came reluctantly out of her mouth, but it came, and that was a far greater step up than anything I’d had before.

Then the silence turned awkward. She stayed where she was, looking at me, and I did the same, looking at her, all of her, from that beautiful, nefarious gaze down to her pale lips, her smooth skin, her small tits and large hips, her thick thighs and the powerful legs beneath. Everything about her was too clean to be real, like she’d been born out of the imagination of some perfectionist. Neither of us said anything. I should have looked away, and I didn’t.

“Uhm… so? Will you let me go?”

“No?”

The answer came out before I registered that I was still holding her hand. I let go on instinct, then immediately lunged for it again. This time she pulled back, dodging my grip, and frowned at me with open hostility.

“What are you up to, you miscreant?”

I looked between my own hand and hers, which she’d raised behind her, out of reach.

“Maggie. Do you trust me?”

She scoffed.

“Of course not.”

I let out a dry chuckle.

“That’s about what I expected. On the bright side, I don’t have to worry about breaking your trust, since it was never there to break. We could build it together instead, this way.”

She tilted her head to one side.

“Build trust together? Why would you want to?”

The question threw me, and I frowned a little.

“What do you mean, why would I want to? Why wouldn’t I?”

“The job of a summon is to obey their summoner. What is the need for trust? I don’t trust you, and I don’t need to. As a summoner, you can do away with any of us whenever you like, and there is nothing we can do about it. Trust is such a useless thing to build.”

My mouth hung slightly open. She wasn’t wrong. It was only that I’d expected the same domineering personality I’d braced for with Kassie, the one she had already shown me plainly. And now she was someone else entirely. The Maggie who had wanted me dead made more sense to me than this one did.

‘She has to be playing me. It’s a lie.’

I frowned.

“Do you remember how you almost killed me when I first summoned you? How stubborn you were about refusing to cooperate?”

She answered evenly, crossing both hands behind her back.

“You reeked of heresy, and you were without clothes. Summoning me with such a disgraceful presence, you deserved worse than death. A shame I was unable to hand it to you.”

Standing there, listening to all of it, I was already reconsidering my objective. Then a brilliant idea landed on me.

“Right. You just said it yourself — I’m your summoner, and your duty is to obey me. You did say that, didn’t you?”

“Indeed.” She held my eyes as she said it.

That ghastly, unblinking face nearly made my nerve give out, but I held myself together and spoke.

“Then if I demand to have sex with you, will you allow it?”

Maggie tilted her head to the side, right first, then left, then straightened and went on looking at me without a word. Her face gave nothing back. No shock, no disgust, nothing at all.

The silence made my heart pound loud enough that I was sure she’d hear it. My throat had gone dry somewhere in the last minute, and I only noticed when I tried to swallow and couldn’t. Then it occurred to me.

‘Ah… maybe she doesn’t even know what sex means.’

“You want me to bear your child. Are you a fool?”

I retorted before I could stop myself.

“Wait, what? Have my child? No! Not at all! I don’t want that!”

Her stare cooled by a degree, and I made myself calm down.

“What I want is almost the same, but… not that intense.”

‘Is “not that intense” even the right way to put it? Damn, I don’t know.’

Meanwhile she kept staring, waiting.

I inhaled, exhaled. It sat on me like a weight, on my tongue, my shoulders, my heart. I had no essence to speak of, but I could see in the dark, so I should be able to scrape together whatever drops I needed to manage Feather Step.

“What I want is for us to please each other. I want to please you, to give you an experience I’m certain you’ve never had, while doing the same for myself. That way I get to regenerate my leg, restore my essence, even grow.”

I paused, and after a few seconds I finished.

“So… I want to have sex with you. I want to fuck you, Maggie.”
