Chapter 2574 - Demon Realm Amusement Park ⑤

Since we’d decided the first place to head after entering would be the Aqua Area, we figured we should decide what to ride there before going in.

From what I could tell, the Aqua Area was probably themed after Magnawell-san…… and apparently, my guess was right, because a lot of the attractions had “Dragon” in their names.

[There are quite a lot of attractions just in the Aqua Area. Hina-san…… is there anything we should prioritize?]

[Since the name alone makes it sound like there are a lot of water attractions, I definitely want to ride something like a splash coaster!]

[It’s an attraction where a group of people ride together in a vehicle, traveling across fast-moving water with lots of splashing effects and things like that. In amusement parks from our world, they’re pretty standard. Not every single park has one, but they’re really popular.]

Since Sieg-san tilted her head at the unfamiliar term after hearing Hina-chan’s suggestion, I gave a quick explanation. Splash coasters really were the first thing that came to mind when hearing Aqua Area, and with a place this big, there were definitely at least one or two of them somewhere.

[I see. Since many of us are beginners, I think starting with a classic attraction is an excellent idea…… but Yuzuki-dono, which one is this splash coaster?]

[……That’s the problem. Since the pamphlet is designed to be compact and easy to carry, it only shows a rough map and the attraction names. We can’t actually tell what kind of attractions they are, so we have to imagine them based on the names.]

That was pretty common for amusement parks, honestly. It was difficult to include detailed explanations for every attraction in a pamphlet, so usually they only listed the locations and names. You’d look at the map and the titles, imagine what the attraction might be like, head over there…… and sometimes discover it was completely different from what you expected.

Of course, this world didn’t have internet searches or anything like tha…… ah, wait, I could just ask Alice, couldn’t I? But still, trying things out based only on the pamphlet and your imagination was part of the charm of amusement parks too…… so asking Alice, who could give the answer to anything, didn’t necessarily feel like the right choice.

Especially since this trip wasn’t about efficiently clearing every attraction. The main point was for everyone to enjoy the amusement park together. If we got too fixated on covering all the major attractions and ended up not having fun because of it, that would defeat the purpose.

[……Hina-chan, what about this Dragon Adventure? The starting point looks like a rocky mountain, and judging by the layout…… maybe that lake is the goal?]

[That’s true! A steep drop from a high place straight into a lake is classic! Just like Kaito-senpai said, this Dragon Adventure definitely seems suspicious. Ah, but do you think the usual amusement park tropes from our world apply here too?]

[Alice supervised the whole thing, so I’m sure it’s designed to feel very similar to amusement parks and theme parks from our world.]

[Then let’s try Dragon Adventure first! Is everyone okay with that?]

At Hina-chan’s words, the others nodded as well, and the first attraction we’d head to was decided: Dragon Adventure. Maybe it was just my imagination, but Lilia-san seemed slightly restless…… or rather, she was definitely getting excited just hearing the word “dragon”.

In that sense, even if it didn’t turn out to be a splash coaster, it was still probably a good choice if dragon-loving Lilia-san would enjoy it.

[After that, maybe we should move toward the next area…… and stop by the attraction in this large…… sea-like place here?]

[Yes. Considering the route toward the next area too, I think Aoi-senpai’s suggestion is the best. Let’s deliberately avoid deciding exactly what to ride there for now, and instead just head to that sea-like area and pick something that looks fun based on the atmosphere.]

With that, we had a rough plan for which attractions to visit in the Aqua Area. The real issue would probably be how crowded each attraction got.

I doubted we’d have to wait an entire hour, but for the large-scale attractions, we’d probably need to be prepared for at least some lines, so we’d have to keep an eye on the time……

Thinking that, we headed for the entrance gate. Each of us showed the invitation card Kuro had given us and passed through, but…… for some reason, the staff treated me differently.

[Eh? Ah, okay.]

Everyone else had gotten through after a quick check, so I wondered why only I was stopped…… then the receptionist presented me with an ornate card decorated with luxurious trim.

[This is an all-attraction highest-priority pass exclusively for Miyama Kaito-sama. If you present this to staff members at crowded attractions, both you and your companions will be guided with top priority.]

[……Ah, yes. Thank you very much.]

[……VIP. Kaito-senpai is still an ultra VIP as always.]

[Well, considering two of the owners are Kaito-san’s lovers, it’s only natural…… though I’m grateful that this means we won’t have to worry about waiting times.]

I definitely hadn’t expected such special treatment to be prepared for me, but Hina-chan, Aoi-chan…… everyone all reacted more like “Well, that’s obviously gonna happen”, without showing any particular surprise.
