I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 482: Regular Cutlass?

Chapter 482: Regular Cutlass?

Viesta continued to fly around with a desperate look on her face. She needed to be quicker!

The moment she flew over a beach and noticed a ruin of sand in the distance, she came to find that she flew over what seemed to be a temple similar to the Jungle Temple back at camp!

Lillian must be here. And she was!

Squinting her eyes, she looked down and saw a deep hole in the beach where she found a humongous crab slamming around what she saw to be a half-dead Lillian.

Summoning the SoundBlaster and shooting it into the sky, she waited for everyone to arrive as she flew down.

As Lillian’s near-unconscious body was slammed repeatedly against the wall, the Jungle Lord took an involuntary step forward.

He knew he should have stepped in! He wasn’t sure what was wrong with his master, but her state wasn’t right for this kind of battle!

Right as the Wendigo was about to leap down, he was stopped by a large glossy horn. He scowled and glared at the Beetle while gesturing towards Lillian.

The Beetle rolled its eyes before shaking its head, trying to stop him from intervening. He pushed away the horn, but then found the Beetle positioning itself between him and the battle going on below.

It was adamant on keeping him from intervening. Could it not see that their master was being pummelled?!

The Jungle Lord looked into the Beetle’s eyes, which were filled with sincerity and trust—something he hadn’t expected. Does it really believe their master could win in the state that she was in...?

"Krr..." The Wendigo backed down and tried his best to ignore the order of his master to intervene.

DUM!

Lillian vomited blood as she awoke from her dream. Her vision was blurry as she looked around, and even more difficult when the blood that was leaking from her head ran over her face.

She felt her body was a mess; it was truly a miracle that all of her bones weren’t reduced to dust yet.

With a weak body, Lillian tried to narrow her vision on the Beach Lord and found it to be reeling back its larger claw for an attack. It seemed to have had enough of slamming her around.

Will this be its final attack? Will this be the day that she dies?

...

No... Not today, at least.

She still had so much to do. She promised Marionette that she would take care of herself, even if it wasn’t to the real her—but that doesn’t matter, for she refused to break yet another promise!

’Move...’

She needed to get out of this.

’Move...!’

She can’t die here.

’MOVE!’

She needed to keep on living!

As Lillian’s desperation reached an entirely new limit, so did something else, which began to shine brightly in her hand like a shimmering star.

{An Item is undergoing change. The Item {Regular Cutlass} is stirring awake.}

The Beach Lord held a claw over its eyes as it was blinded by the light, dropping Lillian as it stumbled back.

When the light finally died down and it had lowered its claws away from its eyes, it was immediately met with the sight of two plasmatic heads resembling a leviathan coming from its left and right.

These were the [Twin-headed Fury]!

With their jaws wide open, they bit down on the large pair of arms that the Beach Lord had—scorching them. The force behind their jaws managed to cause cracks to form, despite the mana the Beach Lord was using to protect itself.

The crown of sand hovering above its head spun at an even quicker rate, becoming blurred as it felt the shock of pain course through its body.

Then, in a few seconds, the plasmatic heads were destroyed by the sand it controlled; their fragile form shattering.

It watched as shards of its beautiful armour around its claws fell, revealing its soft flesh underneath. It seethed at the sight of this.

HOW DARE THEY DO THIS TO THEM!

The Beach Lord’s eyes wobbled and shook with rage as they settled their gaze on Lillian, who now wielded a weapon with a far different appearance compared to before.

Just like her shortsword, it was made out of a sharp, jagged, and obsidian-like material. The only difference was that its blade was much broader and curved.

But that wasn’t the strangest thing about it, for the Beach Lord watched as the weapon glowed a deep purple outline, which spread and wrapped itself around Lillian.

Her eyes flickered between unconsciousness and consciousness before settling on a subtle blue.

Summoning all of her equipment, like her armour and boots, Lillian slowly raised her right hand and—

Snap.

—Snapped her fingers.

As the snap rang out, countless orbs of water appeared around her in the air, warping and twisting at a rapid rate as they became spinning drills, which also glowed a deep purple outline.

Once there were more than a dozen, Lillian swung her hand and shot them towards the Beach Lord, who had prepared a volley of projectiles of his own.

Both water and hardened sand shot through the air, colliding against each other, with clear intentions to destroy the other. However, the only winner of those collisions seemed to be—

SPLASH!

—Lillian’s water drills.

Her attacks shattered through the Beach Lord’s hardened sand projectiles and bombarded its body, piercing through its glossy bronze shell like it was a thin sheet of paper.

The Beach Lord was shocked by what it had just experienced, its eyes going bloodshot as it watched translucent lines appear in the air.

Connected between its body and Lillian, it watched as they turned a deep crimson.

Lillian, who was on death’s door, felt her body repair itself. And once she was in peak condition, she summoned her gauntlets.

This battle was no longer about her proving to herself that she was strong... But she was capable of taking care of herself and those she loved.

As Lillian looked back, she had realised what a horrible lover she had been... Forgetting to pick up calls, forgetting to call, unintentionally not thinking about Marionette’s feelings...

If she were to perish today, how could she say she was sorry? How could she express her love for the person who kept her going? How could she continue to talk to her?

The Beach Lord’s body, which was littered with holes in its shell, rushed towards Lillian before stiffening. A dark glow began to appear over its body from the wounds the drills caused.

It began to bleed profusely, its body weakening. It was as if... It was hit with a curse.

Lillian bent her knees and dashed forward, appearing before the Beach Lord in an instant.

She severed off one of its legs, then another, before dodging as the Beach Lord swung down, having adapted to the pain. But its body was much slower now.

Lillian leapt towards with glowing eyes and swung rapidly.

"[4th Technique of the Deep Sea Hunter: Drowning Net]!"

An illusory net of interwoven slashes flew through the air, glowing a deep purple, while also radiating an electrical glow.

It crashed into the Beach Lord, who had raised its claws in defence, but watched as it was sliced into pieces; shocked, it felt the attack fall onto its body, causing it to thrash in pain as deep cuts appeared.

Lillian fell to the ground and immediately entered into a stance. Since the Beach Lord was now at its weakest, she would unleash her final attack.

Pulling her arm back for a horizontal swing, Lillian pounced forward, imagining the humongous crab to be the towering tree back in the jungle...

Lillian roared out:

"[1st Technique of the Deep Sea Hunter: Tidebreaker Slash]!"

For a size this big, Lillian doubted she could cut through something this big in the past. But now... She only doubted whether or not she had enough energy to do so.

With her roar, Lillian swung a near-perfect horizontal swing, causing an illusory wave similar to a tsunami to appear; it glowed a deep purple and was statically charged with electricity.

And in that instant...

The world ceased to move at the moment Lillian’s blade met the left side of the Beach Lord’s body. A faint, but noticeable line appeared from all the way to the left, but to the right of its body.

Time continued, and with that, the glowing tsunami crashed into the humongous crab and caused it to go flying back into the wall of the arena—its body splitting in two as it collapsed in two...

[You have slain a Dire Gore, Beach Lord]

The inside of Lillian’s arms ruptured from the power behind her attack, lashing back at her before repairing as quickly as it appeared.

Lillian momentarily winced at the pain but smiled nonetheless as she stood before the bisected Beach Lord.

PHK!

She stabbed her sword into the ground and faced the fractured moon in the sky before roaring at it—roaring to show her victory over the Beach Lord.

"HAAA!"

And as she roared, weakness suddenly fell upon her; fatigue plaguing her mind like a deadly disease as she collapsed onto her knees...

Her eyes slowly lost their light as she closed them and... Fell asleep.

But this time... Her dreams were pleasant.
