Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1671: F**k my luck!

Chapter 1671: F**k my luck!

Soon, the products were tagged and dispatched toward their respective buyers without even a second of delay after the auction ended.

Lackey, along with two other slaves, stood together beneath the flickering neon scanner lights. All three carried the same identification mark glowing faintly across their cuffs, meaning they had been purchased by the same individual.

Without wasting time, mech-suits shoved them toward a black transport van parked near the underground loading sector.

Thick alloy plating covered the surface while streams of pink energy pulsed beneath transparent lines embedded into the metal. A huge glowing ’β’ symbol was etched across the back doors.

Just as Lackey stepped toward the loading ramp, the gold-striped black mech-suit leaned slightly closer.

*Stay on the right corner of the van.*

Before Lackey could react, a metallic hand pushed him inside. The rear doors slammed shut behind him with a heavy THUNK before multiple magnetic locks engaged one after another.

CHK. CHK. CHK.

The mech-suited guard slapped the back panel twice.

"Move."

Ssnnngggg~

Energy surged through the vehicle instantly. Blue currents flashed beneath the floor plating while the engine released a deep humming vibration. Anti-friction tyres rotated violently before the van shot forward through the underground tunnel.

Inside the transport chamber, dim pink lights flickered above their heads.

Unlike before, Laceky could feel the movement of the Van.

Lackey silently moved toward the right corner exactly as instructed, crouching near the edge while observing the other two slaves.

One appeared to be a wolf woman. The other possessed folded black wings extending from his back, though several feathers looked damaged and restrained by metallic bindings.

Surprisingly, both of them looked excited.

The wolf woman grinned,

*I still can’t believe this... upper-floor buyers actually chose us.*

The winged man laughed under his breath as he leaned against the wall.

*Then our lives are changing from today onward. That wolf bastard wasn’t lying after all. Once we show our worth, reach the level like that wolf man...*

His eyes darkened slightly before a twisted smile formed across his lips.

*Then we return and slaughter the filth who sold us here.*

*Heh...*

The wolf woman crossed her arms beneath her chest and smirked.

Her tail slowly swayed behind her before her eyes shifted toward Lackey. She stared at his body carefully despite his hunched posture and starved appearance.

Beneath the cloth and bruises, dense muscle lines remained visible across his arms, thighs, and chest.

The wolf woman slowly stepped closer.

*You’re strangely quiet.*

Her sharp eyes scanned him from head to toe again.

*But damn... you’re built well for someone dragged out of the slave pits.*

She moved even closer before crouching slightly in front of him, her voice lowering into a teasing tone.

*Once we get out of here... maybe we can help each other release some stress~*

Her tongue brushed slowly across her lips while her claws lightly tapped against the metal floor.

The winged man smirked immediately.

*I’m joining too. Been suppressing myself for months trapped in that hellhole.*

The wolf woman laughed softly.

*See? Smart people adapt quickly. From now on, we only have each other. Better to get familiar early~ Knowing every inch is not bad, right?~*

Yet Lackey remained completely silent.

The wolf woman frowned slightly.

*Oi... are you brok—*

SCRRRRCCCCCHHHHHH!!!

A horrifying metallic screech suddenly exploded throughout the chamber.

THUD!!!

The entire transport violently shook sideways as if struck by a missile. Warning sirens instantly erupted through the van while sparks burst from the ceiling panels.

Lackey reacted immediately.

His body slammed into the right corner as both hands grabbed onto the support rail. The impact crushed part of the chamber wall inward, leaving a massive dent in the plating.

The wolf woman and winged man were not fast enough.

Their bodies were thrown violently upward as the entire transport lost balance.

THUD!!

The inside rolled.

The winged man crashed headfirst against the ceiling before being slammed toward the opposite wall. The wolf woman screamed as her body rolled uncontrollably across the chamber floor.

The entire transport continued spinning several more times.

CREAKKKKKK!!!

Grinding sounds echoed everywhere. Smoke burst through broken vents while sparks rained from exposed wiring overhead.

Then finally...

The transport halted.

Meanwhile, outside near the intersection of the empty highway, a massive armoured truck stood motionless before the overturned black transport van.

The van had rolled several times before crashing onto its right side. Deep dents covered the armoured surface while cracks spread across the left plating like shattered glass.

Pink-Blue electrical sparks burst continuously from the damaged engine core beneath the vehicle, accompanied by streams of black smoke rising into the air.

Even while lying sideways, the anti-friction tyres continued spinning slowly with a distorted mechanical whine.

The empty highway stretched endlessly beneath the evening sky.

THUD!

A figure jumped down from the top of the truck and landed smoothly onto the highway surface.

"Boss, we’ve intercepted the package."

The man spoke casually while adjusting the black weapon resting across his shoulder. He wore nothing like a mech-suit. Instead, a loose black T-shirt and dark pants.

A translucent visor covered his face, hiding it. Black hair moved wildly under the highway winds while blue light flickered beneath the soles of his metallic boots.

The weapon in his hand looked unusual. Its barrel split into multiple rotating nozzles while faint blue currents moved between the openings with sharp crackling sounds.

"Anyone still alive in there?" he asked with an amused tone.

Only sparks answered him.

Bzzzt... Crack... Tick...

The man tilted his head slightly before raising one hand toward the truck behind him.

Then the blue energy beneath his boots suddenly expanded outward in circular waves.

Wnnnnnggg~

Particles of light spiralled beneath his feet before anti-gravity propulsion activated. His body slowly lifted several feet above the ground before gliding smoothly toward the overturned transport van.

Tang!

He landed directly on the dented side of the vehicle without losing his balance.

"Hm... tough little transport."

The man crouched slightly before pulling out a circular metallic device from his belt. Thin blue lights rotated across its surface.

Click.

He attached the device directly onto the rear lock mechanism of the van.

Beep... Beep... Beep.

Blue energy lines immediately spread across the damaged locking system like living veins, scanning the encrypted security layers. A second later, the device shifted from blue to crimson.

BOOOOM!!!

The magnetic lock exploded apart violently.

CLANG!

The entire rear door tore loose and crashed onto the highway floor with a shower of sparks.

The man dropped lightly onto the ground before peering inside the ruined chamber.

Two unconscious figures lay crumpled against the broken walls, covered in bruises and blood.

Then his gaze shifted toward the far corner.

A masked figure sat there silently.

Completely unharmed.

The man paused for a moment before grinning beneath the translucent visor.

"Well... sweet."

He immediately touched the metallic communication piece attached near his ear.

*Boss, the package is in perfect condition. We’re securing it now and heading toward the agreed location.*

Static buzzed softly through the communicator before the connection ended.

The man looked back toward Lackey before casually waving his hand.

"Come on, buddy. Time to disappear~ whoosh~"

He even whistled toward Lackey as if calling over some obedient stray animal.

Yet Lackey simply stared at him blankly without moving an inch.

"Seriously? We don’t have time for this-Wait!"

The man suddenly stopped before slapping his forehead.

"Oh, right. Translation settings."

He tapped the metallic device near his ear again. Small blue symbols flickered briefly across the visor before his language instantly changed.

*Can you understand me now?*

Lackey slowly nodded.

The man immediately snapped his fingers.

*Perfect. Epsilon is the one who ordered me to retrieve you. Now let’s get the hell out of here before security drones flood this highway.*

He motioned for Lackey to follow him.

For a brief moment, Lackey hesitated while staring at the unknown man standing before him.

Then he slowly stepped out of the ruined van.

The moment his feet touched the highway surface, bright evening light struck directly against his face.

Lackey narrowed his eyes immediately and blinked several times while adjusting to the sudden brightness.

Cold wind brushed against his skin.

His gaze slowly lifted toward the surroundings.

An empty highway stretched endlessly.

*Look at you... Total country bumpkin.*

The man laughed lightly before grabbing Lackey’s metallic cuff and dragging him toward the armoured truck.

Lackey stared at the man who barely reached the height of his chest, ’*Is he small?*’

However—

CLANG!!!

The overturned van’s driver-side door suddenly burst open violently.

Two pink-striped black mech-suits immediately stepped out from the wreckage, smoke and sparks trailing behind their armoured bodies. Their visors glowed pink while guns instantly locked onto the man and Lackey.

"Don’t move!"

The man immediately raised both hands into the air as if surrendering, though his relaxed posture and mocking voice completely ruined the act.

"Huh... and here I thought you guys died in there. Don’t tell me you were pretending to be corpses the whole time."

"Drop your weapon and surrender immediately!"

One of the mech-suits stepped forward while the second suit adjusted its aim directly toward the man’s chest.

"Well..." the man sighed dramatically. "Nothing personal, boys."

The moment those words left his mouth—

BAAAAAM!!!

A deafening, piercing shot exploded across the empty highway.

Lackey’s eyes instantly shifted toward the source.

A figure lay atop the armoured truck several meters away, holding an oversized sniper rifle nearly longer than his own body.

Blue targeting lasers flickered across the dark air.

The mech-suit that stepped forward froze.

Then collapsed.

THUD!

A smoking hole pierced straight through the centre of its visor before sparks erupted from the shattered helmet.

The second mech-suit reacted immediately and turned toward the sniper position.

Too slow.

"Night-night."

BOM!!!

The man beside Lackey fired instantly.

Two wired metallic projectiles burst from his split-nozzle weapon before attaching themselves directly onto the mech-suit’s chest plating.

ZZZZZZTTTTT!!!!

Violent electricity erupted across the entire armour.

Thousands of volts surged through the mech-suit in a frenzy of blue and pink energy. The armoured figure convulsed uncontrollably while sparks exploded from every joint and connection point.

The mech-suit trembled violently before collapsing onto the highway surface.

Crackling smoke rose from the armour while burnt circuitry hissed beneath the plating.

The man nodded with satisfaction.

"Beautiful shot."

He grabbed Lackey’s cuff again.

"Alright, let’s move before reinforc—"

"Sir!"

The sniper suddenly shouted from the top of the truck.

"Radar picked up something approaching fast! Extremely fast!"

The man’s expression instantly changed.

"That quickly? Impossible... how the hell did they trac—"

He stopped mid-sentence.

A slick shadow suddenly passed over the highway.

The man slowly lifted his head toward the sky, upon seeing a shadow, and for the first time, genuine panic appeared across his face.

"FIRE!!"

He roared while raising his weapon toward the dark figure hovering above them.

BOM! BOM! BOM! BOM!

Rounds exploded upward one after another, lighting the highway with flashes of blue light.

But the figure vanished before the bullets could even touch it.

The next second—

Cough... Coughkkk—

A wet choking sound echoed across the highway.

Lackey turned sharply toward the sniper.

The man stood frozen atop the truck.

A hole had appeared through his chest.

Blood poured endlessly down his body while something dark slowly wriggled outward from inside the wound.

A tendril?

The sniper’s eyes widened in horror as the tendril twisted through his chest cavity like a living parasite.

"W-What the fu—"

TRRCCKKKK!!!

The tendril suddenly expanded outward.

The sniper’s body tore apart like wet paper.

Blood splashed across the truck roof while pieces of flesh were scattered onto the highway below.

"YOU!!!"

The man beside Lackey screamed furiously as he raised his weapon and fired continuously toward the top of the truck.

BOM!

BOM!

BOM!

BOM!

BOM!!!

Then—

CHUKKKK!!!

Something pierced straight through his abdomen.

The man froze.

Blood spilled from his mouth immediately.

"Cough... ghk..."

The translucent visor covering his face flickered violently like an old damaged television screen before shutting down completely.

Revealing his scarred face beneath it, along with his expression filled with pain and disbelief.

His trembling eyes slowly lifted upward.

Then widened completely.

"Y-You...?"

His voice cracked.

"W-Why are you here...?"

A soft laugh echoed through the highway air.

"Haha~Why?"

A familiar sultry voice drifted downward like poison wrapped in silk.

"Because you idiots tried stealing something that belongs to me~"

Lackey’s eyes widened instantly.

A feminine mech-suit stood there beneath the neon skyline.

No...

It barely even looked like armour.

The black-and-pink suit wrapped around the woman’s body more like an elegant futuristic dress than combat equipment.

Every surface of the mech-suit carried a smooth obsidian sheen, layered with glowing pink metallic veins flowing beneath the plating like living arteries pumping synthetic pink blood through its body. Under certain angles of light, the patterns pulsed faintly, creating the disturbing illusion that the suit itself possessed a heartbeat.

Thin metallic fibres extended from the spine and hips like artificial tendrils, moving slowly behind her as though responding to invisible neural commands. They did not swing like normal machinery.

They slithered!

The helmet lacked any visible mouth or human expression. A smooth faceless visor covered the entire head while two narrow pink optics glowed within the darkness like predatory eyes studying living specimens before dissection.

One of the metallic tendrils had pierced directly through the man’s chest.

Blood slowly dripped down the sharp pink-tinted appendage while the tendril twitched slightly inside his body.

Lackey stared at the mech-suit in complete shock.

’*What the fuck is this...?*’

He had seen countless mech-suits during the war.

But this thing...

"G-Genome Beta..."

The man muttered those words in absolute fear.

Blood spilled from his lips as his body trembled violently. His face had already turned pale from blood loss while his eyes remained locked onto the feminine figure standing above him.

"I-I really didn’t know it was your product..."

He coughed painfully.

"I swear... I didn’t know... p-please..."

The woman tilted her head slightly.

"Oh?"

Her sultry voice carried playful amusement.

"Even though there’s a gigantic glowing β symbol printed on the transport door, you still ’didn’t know’?"

"..."

The man immediately fell silent.

The tendril slowly pushed deeper into his chest.

"GAAAHHH—!"

His entire body shuddered violently while blood poured from the corner of his mouth.

"W-Wait! I know who hired us! I know who paid me to steal the package! I’ll tell you everything, just let me li—"

BUFFFF!!!

His body exploded instantly.

His entire body burst apart into chunks of flesh and blood that splattered across the highway surface. Pieces of meat and shattered bone rained against the armoured truck while warm blood sprayed across Lackey’s clothes and body.

Lackey flinched slightly.

His eyes blinked once.

He genuinely had not even sensed what happened.

The man simply...

Puffed apart.

Slowly, Lackey lifted his gaze toward the figure that slowly turned towards him.

Those glowing pink eyes stared directly at him.

"You..."

Her voice lowered slightly.

"Why would Epsilon go this far just to secure someone like you...?"

The tendrils behind her slowly slithered towards Lackey.

One after another, the metallic appendages wrapped gently around his arms, waist, and torso. Despite being metal, they moved with unsettling softness before lifting him effortlessly from the ground.

Lackey’s body rose into the air.

One tendril slowly reached toward his rabbit mask before removing it carefully.

The visor remained fixed on his exposed face for several silent seconds.

Meanwhile, Lackey only had a single thought inside his head.

’*Did my shitty luck return the moment I stepped into this place?*’

Honestly, he could not think of any other explanation anymore.

Yet despite everything happening around him...

Lackey showed no visible fear.

He simply stared directly into those glowing pink optics as though the monstrous woman before him did not frighten him at all.

’*Let’s just hope this situation can’t possibly become more shi—*’

"Oh my goodness..."

Her voice suddenly became softer.

Excited.

"I seriously cannot wait to dissect you already~"

"..."

Lackey blinked once.

Then his expression finally twitched slightly for the first time.

’Fuck my luck!!’
