Chapter 1758: Almost... f**ked!
Chapter 1758: Almost… f**ked!
Once Jonathan and Aether finished their business inside the workshop, they returned to the apartment.
Not long after entering, Jonathan gathered his wives and quietly informed them that he would be occupied for the next several days.
Although neither Sasha nor Maiuri voiced their disappointment outright, the subtle change in their expressions betrayed their feelings.
Jonathan scratched the back of his head before offering a gentle smile.
“So… don’t do anything idiotic while I’m away. Be responsible, look after yourselves, and just keep doing your thing.”
He leaned forward, placing a brief kiss on Sasha’s lips before doing the same with Maiuri. Only then did he turn toward Young Aether, narrowing his eyes with a teasing grin.
“And… make sure to take care of him.”
Young Aether’s lips twitched with visible annoyance.
“Don’t treat me like a child, brat.”
After all, despite Jonathan appearing to be the older of the two, Young Aether was actually the oldest person in the room, his youthful appearance hiding an age that surpassed everyone else’s.
Jonathan chuckled, unable to hide the smile tugging at his lips.
“Right… one more thing. If I can’t make it back before your weapon is finished, you’ll have to pick it up yourself.”
He raised his hand toward Young Aether’s AI Ring.
“Here. Take this. It’ll grant you temporary authorisation to enter the military engineering workshops.”
A gentle tap echoed against the black ring.
Instantly, delicate blue particles spiralled around its polished surface before dissolving into countless microscopic streams of light. Layers of holographic code unfolded in midair like transparent glass petals, rapidly verifying encrypted military credentials. Within seconds, the authorisation protocol synchronised successfully.
[Military Access Permit Acquired.]
Young Aether stared at the floating interface before a surprisingly genuine smile spread across his face.
“Thank you.”
Jonathan laughed softly.
“Haha… don’t mention it. Just make sure you use it properly. And whatever happens…”
His expression gradually became more serious.
“…don’t wander anywhere near Delta Tower. Understood?”
Young Aether immediately sensed the shift in Jonathan’s tone.
He gave a firm nod.
“I’ve actually been meaning to ask…”
His eyes remained fixed on Jonathan.
“Where exactly are you going?”
Jonathan remained silent for a brief moment before answering.
“…Work.”
He slipped both hands into his pockets, casually avoiding eye contact.
“The military assigned me to train a new batch of recruits, and I’ve got to select personnel for my own squadron. I can’t keep fighting alone forever, you know.”
His explanation sounded perfectly reasonable.
Perhaps… a little too reasonable.
Young Aether studied him for another second.
Something felt slightly out of place.
Not enough to call it a lie.
Just enough to suggest Jonathan wasn’t telling him everything.
Still, he simply nodded without asking another question.
Soon afterwards, Jonathan stepped through the apartment’s door.
“…”
Silence settled across the living room.
It wasn’t a peaceful silence.
It was the kind that made the air itself feel strangely heavy.
Maiuri stood quietly, staring blankly at Young Aether without saying a word. Meanwhile, Sasha repeatedly glanced around the room, her eyes wandering anywhere except toward him.
The awkwardness became so overwhelming that even Young Aether felt it.
He cleared his throat.
“A-Anyway… since Jonathan won’t be staying here for a while, how about the two of you take one room? I’ll stay in the other.”
“…”
“…”
No answer.
Young Aether forced an awkward smile.
“Hello…? Maiuri?”
She finally looked at him before letting out a small snort.
“Hmph. Whatever.”
Without waiting for another word, she turned and walked toward the kitchen.
Sasha quietly followed after her almost immediately.
Young Aether remained standing in the middle of the living room, wearing an expression that practically screamed… What the fuck did I do?
After several seconds, he simply sighed, shrugged his shoulders, and dropped onto the couch.
With nothing else to do, he activated the T.V.
“What the fuck…? Isn’t he just a child? Why the fuck are they making a romance scene between some old hag and a kid? Who the hell is even watching this? Oh my God… they actually kissed! Is… is this what people call romance these days?
What the fuck?! N-No, don’t touch that woman, you brat! FUCK!”
Young Aether’s eyes widened in absolute horror as the scene continued unfolding on the holographic television. Without wasting another second, he lunged toward the control panel and immediately switched the display off.
Young Aether remained frozen in place, staring blankly at the now-empty wall with an expression that suggested his soul had just suffered irreversible damage.
“What in the actual hell did I just watch…?”
At that moment, he silently questioned whether the modern world had truly advanced… or simply lost its mind.
Soon, dinner was ready.
Ever since Jonathan had left, neither Maiuri nor Sasha had spoken a single unnecessary word.
Young Aether quietly observed them while picking up his spoon.
It seemed Sasha, whose curiosity had initially drawn her toward him, now avoided him entirely. As for Maiuri… she had disliked him from the very beginning, so nothing about her behaviour had truly changed.
‘Well… I suppose that’s still better than having them constantly clinging to me.’
With a faint inward shrug, he took his first bite.
!~Ding~!
[Warning: Poison Detected!]
“…”
The spoon froze halfway to his mouth.
[Purifying… 1%… 10%… 50%… 100%]
!~Ding~!
[Purification Complete!!]
Young Aether’s fingers nearly loosened around the spoon.
His expression remained perfectly calm, but inside…
‘…No way.’
For a fleeting second, he genuinely wondered whether one of these women had actually tried to poison him.
Or…
‘Both of them…?’
Without moving his head, his eyes slowly drifted toward Maiuri and Sasha.
Neither of them showed the slightest reaction.
They continued eating in complete silence, their movements natural and unhurried, as though nothing unusual had happened… as though nothing had been added to the food in the first place.
Young Aether subtly compared their plates with his own.
He glanced at their plates before looking down at his own. For a brief second, he was tempted to grab his plate and shove its contents down their throats. However, he restrained himself. He understood that both of them were dissatisfied with him, but… to think they would decide to kill him the very moment their husband left the house.
The fuck?!
It hadn’t even been a full hour since Jonathan walked out the door, and they had already decided to poison him?
Suppressing every trace of suspicion, Young Aether quietly continued eating as though the warning had never appeared.
Across the table, Maiuri and Sasha exchanged a quick glance toward him.
Maiuri’s face remained as expressionless as polished stone.
Sasha, however, wore a faint, seductive grin as she slowly licked her lips before returning to her meal.
…
Not long afterward, dinner came to an end.
Young Aether calmly stood from his chair.
“Since Sasha’s room is mostly empty, I’ll take that one. The two of you can stay together.”
His voice remained composed, wearing the calm mask of an older brother willing to overlook every slight directed toward him.
Neither woman objected.
Instead…
They silently followed behind him.
Young Aether immediately noticed.
The sound of two pairs of footsteps echoed through the apartment corridor, matching his pace almost perfectly.
When he reached Sasha’s bedroom, both women stopped behind him.
Watching… Waiting.
Almost…
Expecting something.
‘These damn women…’
His eye twitched.
‘Are they seriously waiting to watch me die?’
Taking a slow breath, he turned around.
“What do the two of you want now?”
Unlike before, his voice carried an unmistakable chill.
There was no reason to continue pretending everything was normal if they were determined to treat him like an enemy.
Maiuri answered without hesitation.
“Jonathan told us to take care of you.”
“…Okay?”
Young Aether blinked.
“So?”
He gestured toward the hallway.
“What exactly are you still standing here for?”
Before he could finish speaking, Sasha casually slipped past him and entered the bedroom as though it still belonged entirely to her.
“Yaa…”
She stretched lazily before throwing herself onto the bed.
“I’m sleeping here.”
Young Aether stared at her in disbelief.
“Wait! What are you doing? Go to Maiuri’s room and sleep there!”
Before Sasha could answer, Maiuri calmly stepped past him as well.
“I’m going to change into my nightgown.”
She spoke so matter-of-factly that it almost sounded ridiculous.
Without waiting for permission, she walked toward the attached bathroom.
Young Aether’s eyebrow twitched.
“Wait! Where are you going?”
“I already told you.”
Maiuri glanced over her shoulder.
“I’m changing before going to sleep.”
“What the… Didn’t either of you hear what I just said?”
“Yes.”
Maiuri interrupted him immediately.
“We heard every single word.”
She folded her arms.
“And we also heard our husband’s instructions.”
Young Aether bit the inside of his lip.
“The point of taking care of me doesn’t mean you have to sleep in the same room.”
His voice became noticeably colder.
“You two should sleep in your own room. I’ll be perfectly fine by myself.”
A faint darkness flickered within his eyes before disappearing just as quickly.
His patience was approaching its limit.
Even so, Maiuri refused to back down.
Instead, she met his gaze head-on.
“Why are you so adamant about this?”
Her eyes narrowed suspiciously.
“Hm?”
She took one slow step closer.
“Is there something you’re trying to hide?”
Her voice sharpened.
“Or… is there something you’re planning to do that would make you feel guilty?”
Young Aether parted his lips, intending to respond, but before he could utter a single word, Maiuri interrupted him with an unwavering gaze.
“What exactly are you so scared of? Are you afraid that you’ll betray Jonathan’s trust? Even though he trusted you this much… are you really going to disappoint him?”
Those words instantly silenced Young Aether. They didn’t feel like an ordinary question or a casual accusation. Instead, they struck him like a verdict upon the friendship he treasured the most.
For someone who valued loyalty above almost everything else, hearing Jonathan’s trust brought into question left him with no immediate answer.
He narrowed his eyes before exhaling quietly.
“…Fine. Do whatever you see fit, but don’t ever question my friendship with Jonathan.”
Leaving those words behind, he walked toward the bed without another glance.
Only after he moved away did Maiuri calmly enter the bathroom. Meanwhile, Young Aether stopped beside the bed where a pair of sparkling eyes stared directly at him from beneath the quilt with obvious anticipation.
He hesitated for a moment before awkwardly scratching the side of his cheek.
“…You’re wearing clothes, right?”
Sasha simply puffed out her cheeks with an innocent expression before deliberately turning her face away, refusing to answer his question altogether.
Young Aether stared at her for another moment.
“…Right?”
“…”
Once again, silence was his only answer.
Unable to do anything else, Young Aether released a long, defeated sigh before lifting the quilt and lying down without checking anything beneath it. At this point, he had already decided that overthinking the situation would only make matters worse.
‘I will prove my friendship, no matter what. Women… honestly…’
His expression became unusually serious as though he were preparing himself for a battlefield rather than simply going to sleep.
A short while later, the bathroom door slid open with a soft sound. Maiuri emerged wearing a light nightgown before quietly taking her place beside Young Aether. Even after lying down, she continued watching him without blinking.
The bedroom lights gradually dimmed until only a gentle glow remained, and outspace started to play on the ceiling.
Young Aether quietly stared upward, completely absorbed by the magnificent display above him. Although two extraordinarily beautiful women were lying on either side of him, he genuinely found the simulated universe overhead far more captivating than anything else in the room.
Time quietly passed.
Gradually, exhaustion began catching up with Maiuri. Her eyelids slowly grew heavier, and after blinking several times, she finally surrendered to fatigue before gently closing her eyes.
Sigh…
Only then did Young Aether allow himself to relax.
Once his customised mech suit was finally completed, there were several matters he intended to resolve without delay.
His first would be Beta. If she chose to cooperate, everything could proceed peacefully. If she refused… then he would have no choice but to take far harsher measures.
After dealing with Beta, he still needed to meet Epsilon before eventually investigating Hell’s Gate.
‘I still need to discover what those things really are… and where exactly they’re coming from.’
He hadn’t enjoyed proper sleep for several days, and even his remarkable endurance had its limits. Before he realized it, his eyes gradually became too heavy to keep open, and he quietly drifted into sleep.
To Young Aether, it felt as though only a single second had passed.
In the next second for him, he frowned when a warm, wet feeling suddenly appeared on his crotch.
His eyes slowly opened as they adjusted to the dim atmosphere around him.
At first he saw something blurry shaped like a ‘^’.
He frowned deeper as he struggled to register what it was, then squinted his eyes for better focus.
Finally the image cleared, revealing soft skin with a small, inviting crack in it.
It was a familiar sight, the one he had always seen when doing naughty things.
His eyes widened in complete disbelief.
‘It’s… Pussy!’
“Ahh~”
A quiet moan suddenly reached his right ear.
!!!
Young Aether instinctively flinched before immediately turning toward the sound.
He glanced over and saw Maiuri with a flushed red face, panting heavily while holding his hand firmly between her legs and using it to rub against her wet folds.
“…”
While Sasha was lying on top of him completely naked, just like he had predicted, her mouth drooling over his crotch as she slept peacefully.
Her entire face nudged warmly against his crotch, while her legs parted exactly in front of his eyes, ‘^’ shamelessly showing the intimate place that was only meant for his friend.
“…”
His face twitched from left to right in disbelief.
If this had happened to almost any other man, it would have been nothing less than paradise.
For Young Aether, however, it was nothing short of a nightmare he had never wished to experience.
‘OH, FOR FUCK’S SAKE!’
His scream echoed only inside his mind as every muscle in his body tensed. He was just about to yank his hand away and shove Sasha off him without caring where she landed when a familiar voice suddenly surfaced from the depths of his memory.
‘Please… take care of my wives.’
Jonathan’s words.
The anger that had been surging through him instantly lost its momentum. His clenched jaw slowly relaxed as the frustration gave way to nothing more than an exhausted sigh.
‘…Whatever. I just have to stay still. I don’t need to move. I don’t need to think. I just have to survive until morning.’
Just as he convinced himself to remain completely motionless…
“Ahh~”
“Hmm~”
Both Maiuri and Sasha let out soft sounds almost simultaneously.
Maiuri unconsciously shifted closer in her sleep, and the warmth of her breath brushed lightly against his neck while the faint fragrance she wore drifted into his senses.
He jerked his hips involuntarily, causing Sasha to almost nudge his sensitive tip with her warm mouth.
“…”
Young Aether’s cheeks turned red with embarrassment.
‘P-Please…’
‘Someone… pray for me…’
His horrified expression could have rivalled someone standing before certain death.
Against his own will…
His body had reacted.
He had just gotten turned on.
For fuck sake, those were his friend’s wives.
If he saw them like this no—
‘Nope! Not happening!!’
‘The moment I even think about looking, someone will probably kick the door open as if they’ve been waiting for exactly that moment.’
Young Aether desperately forced his eyes toward the holographic stars across the ceiling, refusing to glance anywhere else despite the fact that he could clearly feel the wetness from Maiuri on his hand and Sasha’s drool soaking through his pants.
‘Stay calm…’
‘Just stay calm…’
‘Ignore everything.’
Unfortunately…
“Stop being a pussy, and fuck them!!”
A familiar voice suddenly echoed from the darkness within his mind.
It had been silent for quite some time.
Now… as if it had grown annoyed at how he was acting like an innocent asshole in front of these women.
“They wanted this, didn’t they? Then make sure they never forget who they decided to provoke.”
Young Aether’s eyebrow twitched.
‘Those… are our friend’s wives, you bastard.’
“…. Hehe~”
‘F-Fuck you!’
He shouted back inwardly without the slightest hesitation.
Young Aether shouted back inside his head as if he fully understood the mocking meaning behind the dark voice’s simple laugh.
