Chapter 1895: Thank you, Big Brother

Chapter 1895: Thank you, Big Brother

Within the darkness, Jonathan’s screams echoed as every inch of his body was torn apart.

The pain went far beyond flesh and bone, sinking deeper into him until it felt as though something was ripping his very soul apart.

“ARHHHHH! NOOOO!! AAAAAA!!!!”

The dark hands seized him from every direction. They peeled away his skin, bent his fingers backwards, and snapped them one by one while the darkness swallowed each broken piece before his eyes.

He could see them… He could feel them… Those were the children he had once abused and… done unimaginable things to.

Their faces stared back at him from the darkness. Their eyes were empty, their smiles twisted beyond anything human, and their small bodies moved with an unnatural stillness.

He saw their wicked faces… those things…..

“ARRHHH!!”

Trrr!!

The sound of tearing flesh echoed through the darkness. The hands continued peeling away his skin and pulling out his hair one strand at a time, almost as though they were playing a harmless game.

“Hehe.”

“Hahah~”

“Hehehefooo~”

Their laughter echoed from every direction, overlapping until Jonathan could no longer tell how many voices surrounded him.

Not only that, but the lower part as well… the foreskin of his dick was ripped away first.

“ARRHHHHH!!!”

He clenched, desperately trying to reach for it, only for the hands to hold him down as they tore the flesh of his dick inch by inch, like ripping paper with wicked fingers.

“ARRHHH… ARRRHH… NOO… NO…!!!”

“ARRHHH… ARRRHH… NOO… NO…”

Tears and snot covered his face as he sobbed uncontrollably, his voice collapsing beneath the weight of fear and pain.

He didn’t want this.

He didn’t want to feel any more of it.

“Please… just kill me!”

His plea disappeared into the darkness.

For a moment, there was nothing.

Then the children smiled wickedly.

“NOOO—AAHHH!!”

The hands peeled the sack open and pulled the balls out alive… like a string, before shoving them into the dickless hole.

“Hehe~”

“Hehehehehe~”

“HOOOO~~”

They laughed wickedly as they enjoyed his screams and pain.

Then the hands moved closer to his ass and plunged their wicked hands in, pulling the flesh from his asshole and ripping it out.

Jonathan gasped violently, his entire body convulsing as though something inside him had suddenly been ripped away.

They played with intestines like a cowboy… they threw around dick parts… crushing the balls and all.

They never stopped smiling.

They seemed to enjoy every second of it.

Jonathan could see them enjoying everything.

Every bit of his pain became their enjoyment.

His suffering had become their happiness.

Just as he was about to lose consciousness, a dark hand suddenly forced itself into his head.

“AARRRR!!”

His body jerked violently, and something within the darkness seemed to command him to remain awake. One of the children leaned closer, its face splitting into a grotesque smile.

“You are not done yet. Heheh~”

Jonathan stared at the child in terror as several hands slowly reached toward his face. Their blackened nails pressed against his eyes, holding them open while he desperately shook his head.

“N-No… No, NO—”

Pop!

His scream tore through the darkness.

His vision vanished as the children ripped away what remained of his eyes. Blood and pale fluid streamed down his face while his empty sockets burned with unbearable pain.

“ARRHHHH!!”

His vision died… as they pulled the eyes from the sockets… the flesh string attached to them… as they pulled them like elastic rubber, the darkness children moved like elastic before snapping.

The child fell down; other children giggled before pulling out another eye.

Jonathan lost his vision, and yet… he could still clearly feel every inch of his pain around his body and soul.

He was being tormented like filth!

He wasn’t treated like a human anymore!

To them, he was nothing more than a thing.

A plaything!

The children surrounded him again, their laughter growing louder as they continued tearing him apart piece by piece.

Pulling his tongue until it ripped away… breaking his teeth one by one… hooking his nose and pulling back to tear it off.

Every bit of their torture was accompanied by giggles of happiness.

But it’s over?

NO!!

Jonathan tried to scream, but his voice barely escaped his ruined throat.

Every movement brought another wave of agony, and every moment stretched endlessly within the darkness.

He thought it was finally over.

But then the children stopped.

They all looked toward him at once.

And,

“Curnch~Munch~”

They tore into his flesh and began devouring him alive.

Jonathan screamed until there was almost nothing left in his voice. The children bit into him again and again, ripping away pieces of his body while blood stained their faces.

They ate him inch by inch.

And somehow, Jonathan remained conscious enough to feel every terrible second of it.

His screams eventually became nothing more than broken breaths.

His body was being destroyed beyond recognition, yet the darkness refused to let him die.

There was no escape.

No mercy.

No unconsciousness.

Only pain remained.

And the children kept smiling.

Allen, even though he couldn’t see clearly inside the darkness, could more or less make out its shifting outline.

His body trembled uncontrollably as he lowered himself, his knees nearly giving way beneath him. His breathing became shallow, and every distant scream made his chest tighten.

This was worse than death…

Even though he had been ready to face death, he was now horrified by what he was witnessing and terrified of what would happen to him next.

Death would have been an ending, but this felt like something far worse, something that refused to allow an ending at all.

His body shivered as he glanced at Aether, who was sitting calmly on the car bumper as if he were merely watching the children play.

And worse…

He was smiling happily.

That sight sent another cold shiver down Allen’s spine.

There was no anger on Aether’s face, no hatred, and no hesitation. He simply watched in silence, as though he understood exactly what these children had endured.

Meanwhile, Lily, who was hiding behind the wall, witnessed the horror before her as her face gradually turned pale. Her fingers tightened against the edge of the wall, and she unconsciously covered her mouth to stop herself from making a sound.

She couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

Even though that monster, Jonathan, deserved death, this was not something she had ever imagined.

The darkness surrounding him was beyond anything she could have understood, and the screams coming from within it made her stomach twist.

Yet when she looked at Aether, her fear became even greater.

His calm expression…

That smile…

Those eyes watching everything without looking away…

Just looking at him made her body tremble.

He looked exactly like a devil.

“Munch… Crunch…”

The darkness child continued chewing, her small hands trembling slightly as she held what she had taken from Jonathan. Her face carried a twisted expression of hatred, yet beneath that hatred was something else, something broken and exhausted.

Then, suddenly, a soft hand gently rested upon her head.

The child froze.

Her chewing stopped.

A warm light spread from beneath that hand, and the darkness covering her body flickered violently before dissolving into countless black fragments.

Her eyes widened.

She stared down at her own hands as the darkness vanished from her fingers, revealing the small hands of an ordinary child.

For the first time in what felt like an eternity, she could feel warmth.

She slowly raised her trembling face.

There, standing before her, was a pure white figure.

The figure possessed no frightening presence, no overwhelming aura, and no trace of judgment. Only a gentle smile remained upon their face, soft enough to remind the child of something she had almost forgotten.

A mother?

The child’s lips trembled.

“M… Mom…?”

Tears immediately gathered in her eyes.

Then the figure lifted one hand and gently patted the heads of the other children.

As soon as the hand touched them, the darkness covering their bodies flashed away.

Everyone looked confused and surprised at the same time, as if their hatred, pain, and everything that had bound them to the darkness had suddenly vanished.

The pure white figure slowly knelt down and spread both arms toward them.

“Come here, children.”

In that instant, their eyes flashed.

The white figure disappeared from their perception.

Instead, they saw their own mothers and fathers.

“M-Mom?”

“MOMMY!!”

“D-DADDYYY!!!”

“I am so scared… Dadddyyy!”

“MOM!!!”

“Don’t leave me… Mom… Mom!!”

The children threw themselves into the white figure’s arms.

Some clung desperately to the figure’s waist.

Some buried their faces against the chest.

Others simply sobbed while gripping the clothing with both hands, as though they were terrified that letting go would make their parents disappear again.

“MOMMY, I MISSED YOU!”

“Daddy… it hurt… everything hurt…”

“I tried to be brave… I really tried…”

“I don’t want to be alone anymore!”

“Please don’t leave me again!”

“I was waiting for you!”

…

..

The echoes of a hundred children came together.

Their voices overlapped, sometimes becoming incomprehensible through their sobbing, yet every voice carried the same thing.

Fear.

Longing.

Love.

The desperate need to be held by someone they had once trusted more than anything in the world.

They wept and sobbed as everything they had kept buried inside them finally poured out.

They cried for the pain they had carried after death.

And they cried because, for the first time, they finally felt safe.

The white figure embraced them all, one arm around several children while another hand gently stroked the hair of a crying child.

“It’s alright… no one is going to hurt you anymore, dear.”

The figure’s voice remained gentle, carrying the warmth of a parent speaking to a frightened child in the middle of the night.

“Mommy/Daddy are here.”

A trembling child looked up.

“Really?”

The figure smiled.

“Really.”

“You promise?”

“I promise.”

The child stared at the figure for several seconds before finally burying her face against the figure’s chest again.

“Nobody is going to hurt you anymore,” the figure whispered.

“You don’t have to be strong anymore. You don’t have to keep fighting….. You can rest now.”

The children’s sobs slowly became quieter.

“Can I sleep?”

The figure gently stroked his head.

“Yes, little one.”

“Then… don’t let go.”

“I won’t.”

The child’s tiny hand remained wrapped around one finger of the figure’s hand.

Every trace of fear gradually disappeared, leaving behind only the warmth of their beloved embrace.

Their bodies began to glow.

Soft white light spread through them, illuminating the darkness that had once consumed them.

One by one, the children began to disappear… Their body became softer and softer until they faded completely.

The white figure watched them leave.

Then only one remained.

The last child seemed older than the others. She stood quietly before the figure, her body already beginning to dissolve into glowing white particles.

She looked down at her fading hands before looking back up.

A peaceful smile appeared on her face.

“Thank you, Big Brother.”

Drip…

A single tear slipped from the white figure’s eye.

Her body dispersed into countless white particles.

The particles drifted through the darkness like tiny stars before vanishing completely.

The white figure remained kneeling there.

Then another tear rolled down the figure’s cheek.

Yet the figure continued to smile.

The white figure slowly stood up as the glow gradually dimmed, revealing… Aether.

THUNDER!!

Aether began to walk forward as he muttered,

“These hands… will take the life of everything.”

His hand partially trembled before dark shadows crawled across it, revealing a wicked, monstrous black hand with elongated fingers and unnatural claws.

“And these same hands… will give life to everything.”

THUNDER!!!!

The monstrous hand flickered, transforming into a gentle white glow that surrounded his fingers and palm.

“I will kill… and I will protect.”

!~Ding~!

[Trinity: 05% ↑]

“I hold no judgment… for I have sinned.”

“I seek no righteousness… for my hands are stained.”

“Yet… I must be the Judge.”

[Trinity: 10% ↑]

“I must bear the burden.”

“For I am innocent… of the sins I condemn.”

THUNDER!!!

Right at that moment, something pierced through the darkened sky like a fallen star. A brilliant and immaculate light descended from the heavens, tearing through the darkness as it fell toward the earth.

The Dead Walkers looked upward in awe. A warm sensation spread through their bodies, washing over them as though, after wandering through endless darkness, the light had finally descended upon the dead.

TANG!!!

A radiant spear stabbed into the ground as it landed directly beside Aether.

Aether calmly turned his eyes toward the glowing white spear. Its surface vibrated violently, producing a deep humming sound that seemed to resonate through the entire world.

The black hair covering his head slowly began to fade, revealing his true white hair beneath it. The illusion surrounding his body flickered repeatedly before breaking apart like smoke caught in the wind.

It was not only Nightfire’s illusion.

Dora’s illusion was also beginning to collapse, as though neither illusion could contain what was truly standing before them.

SHATTER!!

His true body emerged.

Allen’s eyes widened as he stared at his friend… and the spear beside him.

He knew that spear.

It was the very same weapon that had erased their armies.

Lily’s eyes widened as well, unable to comprehend what she was seeing. Only moments ago, Aether had looked like a devil standing calmly within hell.

Now…

He looked like a god who had descended from heaven.

Just then, right before everyone’s eyes…

Sluckkk…

Jonathan stood up.

Or rather…

What remained of him stood up.

Sorry for the delay, guys! And… well, this chapter got a little too big for its own good, so I had no choice but to split it into two parts.
