Chapter 2278 - 2287: Enna Clark Finds Out
Chapter 2278: Chapter 2287: Enna Clark Finds Out
"Who said I’m going to call her? So noisy!"
He was somewhat annoyed by Miranda’s pretentious performance earlier and was very eager to hear that woman’s voice. But having someone say it directly made him quite unhappy.
Scott Harris chuckled, "I thought Lord wanted Young Madam, wanted to call her. I misinterpreted."
Damn, where did he get the courage? Did Enna Clark lend him the heart of a bear and the gall of a leopard?!
Baron Lawrence squinted his eagle eyes teasingly, "I see you really want to go to Country S for some training?"
Scott Harris immediately apologized, "Lord, I spoke out of turn."
He initially didn’t want to let Scott Harris off easily but knowing Enna Clark and the two little ones really liked Scott Harris, the words reached his lips and he swallowed them back, "No next time!"
"Yes, Lord."
"Continue monitoring. Let me know when the car leaves."
He just wanted to show them that the person inside was indeed ’Enna Clark.’
But even if it was just acting, he’s almost unable to contain his impatience.
Scott Harris was right.
He’s thinking about that woman right now.
Clearly, they’ve only been apart for a few hours, but he already starts to miss her!
"Alright, Lord."

Meanwhile, at Birch Garden.
Enna Clark had absolutely no idea what was happening outside.
She painstakingly opened her eyes, got up, freshened up, changed her clothes, and wandered out of the room like a ghost.
Joanne Harrison was already tidying up the house, and upon seeing her get up, quickly poured her a glass of milk and handed it over, "Young Madam, you look a bit pale. Didn’t you rest well last night? Do you want to go back to sleep for a while?"
Enna Clark didn’t just rest poorly last night, she hardly slept at all! Thinking about this, her waist started aching badly.
She rubbed her waist with her right hand, while accepting the milk from Joanne Harrison, walking towards the sofa, and shook her head saying, "I’m fine. I won’t sleep, if I sleep too long, I won’t be able to sleep tonight."
She sat down and drank the milk in one gulp.
Just as she put down the glass, her phone rang.
It was a call from Edward Jackson.
Enna Clark immediately put the phone to her ear, "Hello, Uncle. Hmm, no argument. Hmm, already explained to him. Hmm, don’t worry."
She quickly hung up the call.
Thinking about yesterday’s events.
Yesterday’s issue of not receiving Baron Lawrence’s call was over, but she forgot to ask him about Miranda’s matter.
Enna Clark remembered Miranda’s boasting words yesterday, furrowed her brows slightly, and pondered for a moment. Picking up the bag next to her, she said to Joanne Harrison, "I’m going out for a moment. If Gigi wakes up, please take care of her."
"Alright, Young Madam."
As she walked out, she phoned Hayes, asking him to come by too.
Then she got off the car, hailed a taxi, and headed to Lawrence Headquarters—
minutes later, she arrived at Lawrence Headquarters.
She initially wanted to call Baron Lawrence first but worried he might be in a meeting and didn’t want to interrupt him.
Enna Clark thought that since she was already here, she might as well not make the unnecessary call, entered the elevator, and went straight to the 88th floor.
Lawrence Headquarters still looked familiar.
Without thinking much, Enna Clark walked through the lavish corridor, heading straight to the President’s office—
Midway, she suddenly heard a familiar name.
It seemed there were a few people gossiping and chatting at the corner of the hallway.
Just as she was about to walk past, she suddenly heard someone saying, "Who was that woman who came to see President Lawrence this morning? She looks quite like the President’s wife, don’t you think?"
