Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 506 Confrontation!!!

Chapter 506  Confrontation!!!

Luis was not deliberately trying to orchestrate anything, but he had at least created some precious time alone for his wife and her sister-in-law. The question was whether his wife would be able to seize that opportunity, and whether she even possessed the boldness, the sheer nerve, to do so.

Downstairs, the situation had devolved into complete pandemonium. By the time Luis arrived, his mother-in-law, Ruth, had also just reached the scene.

Kiara, the property manager, was a born shrew. The moment she spotted Ruth, she flew into a rage. "You bitch, finally decided to show your face, huh? Your stunt today wrecked my car and blocked the community gate. How exactly are you planning to explain this?"

Luis's mother-in-law, Ruth, was every bit the formidable matriarch herself. Seeing Luis approaching with a dark, grim expression, her heart suddenly swelled with immense confidence.

Seeing that they were surrounded by familiar neighbors, she immediately raised her voice to a shrill pitch. "You've got some nerve blaming me! You parked your stupid car sideways, hogging three of my parking spots. Is this how your precious property management bullies the homeowners around here?"

"That's one matter entirely! I could have moved the car!"

Kiara was so furious she ground her teeth. "But you had my car towed out, and you completely destroyed the handbrake system and everything else! You are paying for the damages, and that's final!"

Yana, who lived in Phase Two, immediately began to mock her coldly. "Oh my, you Phase One folks really have it rough, don't you? Over in our section, we call it a 'Property Service Center,' but you guys call yours a 'Property Management Center.'"

"So it sounds like you pay through the nose just to hire a bunch of entitled overlords to come and push you around."

The residents immediately buzzed with discussion upon hearing this. Ruth's confidence skyrocketed. "Did you hear that, you rotten old hag? I pay my management fees on time, every single year! You bunch of bastards take our money and still think you can ride roughshod over us!"

Someone nearby who loved stirring up trouble had already chimed in.

"One car taking up three spaces? The hell else could that be if not deliberately looking for a fight?"

"Yeah, right! Auntie Ruth's family has two cars and three spaces. One time I couldn't find a spot and asked if I could park there; she was super polite and didn't mind at all."

"They're absolutely right! The property management is supposed to serve us. This crap about riding on our heads and bullying us, what the hell is that?"

Kiara instantly realized she shouldn't have admitted that. But she was far too used to lording it over others.

As the wife of Leok, she didn't just run this property office; she also owned a real estate agency and had access to all the inside information. Usually, she just coasted through life, playing cards and idling her days away.

She had always looked down on people like Ruth, considering them beneath her league. Now Ruth dared to speak to her like this?

She was absolutely livid. Her face turned icy cold. "You damaged my car! I'm telling you, you can talk until you're blue in the face and it won't change a thing! I have the evidence! You will pay for this, whether you like it or not!"

"We'll take legal action!"

At that moment, Luis strode over, his voice cold as steel. "A lawsuit? Fine, we'll fight it with you. Isn't this your favorite trick? Whenever something goes wrong, you just make excuses and tell everyone to 'follow legal procedures.'"

This remark prompted many other homeowners to chime in agreement.

Phase One was mostly made up of relocated residents, and frankly, their general decorum was often questionable. There weren't many who were particularly reasonable or courteous, but at this moment, that trait became an unexpected advantage.

Especially when it came to their other talents, they were absolutely world-class, fanning the flames of conflict and gleefully spectating from the sidelines.

Kiara's eyes went wide with panic. "You little bastard! Who the hell asked for your opinion?!"

Luis was already standing protectively in front of his mother-in-law, a cold sneer twisting his lips. "Turning off our power, splashing paint on our door. You're quite the scoundrel, aren't you? We've already caught your man and sent him to the police station. Right now, I'd love to see how you plan to explain yourself."

"Don't you dare slander me!"

Kiara wasn't flustered; instead, she gave a nasty, mocking chuckle. "Who the hell knows what goes on in your family? Those women in your house look like nothing but loose sluts. Maybe your mother-in-law or your wife was out seducing some other woman's husband, and that wife came to your door to splash paint. That sounds about right."

"The fuck did you just say? Shut your stinking mouth!"

With her fiery temper, how could Ruth possibly tolerate that? She lunged forward, delivered a resounding slap across Kiara's face, grabbed her by the hair, and began tearing into her.

Yana didn't hesitate for even a second. As Ruth's devoted best friend, she was incredibly reliable. She had been silently biding her time, but the moment Ruth made her move, she pounced without a moment's hesitation.

"Ow! What are you all standing around for, you useless bastards?! Beat them! Beat them to death!!"

Kiara's shrieks turned to howls of pain because it wasn't just the two of them attacking her; two of Ruth's close card partners had joined the fray, throwing themselves into the fight without a second thought.

Several middle-aged women launched a sudden, ferocious assault, and the usually arrogant Kiara was quickly pinned to the ground, screaming in agony. She desperately called for the security guards nearby.

However, there were only about a dozen guards in Phase One. Half of them were elderly men just going through the motions, and they all stood there dumbfounded. Only her few trusted cronies remained.

The first one to rush forward, rumored to be her cousin or some such relative, was immediately sent flying backward by a single kick from Luis.

Luis's expression was cold and ruthless; his smile was dark and dangerous. "You all seem to be misunderstanding something. I'm not here to play nice. If you want to throw down, I'm more than happy to oblige."

Hearing this, Virga raised his hand, his telescopic baton snapping out with a menacing click. "Brothers! Let's show these bastards what we're made of!"

Over a dozen security guards from Phase Two, already replaced with younger, stronger men, along with the combative hotheads Virga had brought from the main group, had been itching for a fight. Now, like wolves unleashed, they eagerly surged forward.

The scene dissolved into utter chaos, a full-blown brawl. The residents were thrilled, cheering wildly, and many even took the opportunity to join in and vent their own grievances.

In the early hours of the morning, everyone involved was taken away. But they weren't brought to the local police station; they were taken directly to the municipal public security bureau.

While waiting for their turn to give statements, Luis focused all his attention on his mother-in-law and Yana.

His mother-in-law was brimming with manic energy. "Don't you worry! We didn't lose a bit. That bitch Kiara, though, her face is completely scratched up!"

She was in an almost feverish state of excitement, like an old woman suddenly gripped by a wild, youthful frenzy. Truth be told, at her age, she had long since settled into a quiet, docile life.

Her marriage to Arthur was devoid of any passion; it was a stagnant pond of daily trivialities. But this incident... this experience was far too thrilling.

To her, it felt absolutely insane. She never, ever imagined she would do something like this alongside her son-in-law. The sheer exhilaration was almost unhinged.

"That fucking bitch Kiara! I've loathed her for years!"

As she chattered on excitedly, a young auxiliary officer called Luis away. Everyone assumed it was just routine, a normal rotation for statements.

But inside the interview room sat Jian. He offered a faint smile. "Conflicts between property management and residents are pretty normal. I just didn't expect you to have such a temper, actually throwing punches yourself."

Before arriving, Luis had called Hail and briefly explained the situation. Although the guy hadn't shown his face yet, he was definitely lurking in the background, watching everything.

"Shutting off our power and splashing paint on our door terrified my wife. And on top of that, my mother-in-law was humiliated. I wasn't about to just stand there and let those women take the brunt of it."

"I don't blame you."

Jian nodded readily. "But we caught the guy who splashed the paint. He's not connected to the property company, just some jobless lowlife from outside. He also has full-blown AIDS and other severe STDs, the kind of case detention centers refuse to take."

"He's adamant that he holds a personal grudge against your family. He insists the property company didn't put him up to it."

Jian lowered his voice. "I've looked into this guy. He's a real pain in the ass, a tough nut to crack. If he's this stubborn, it means someone paid him off handsomely. Prying the real truth out of him won't be easy."

"He hasn't relapsed into drugs yet, as far as we can tell. But with money involved, guys like that usually can't resist."

"Oh? Can I see him?"

"You can look, but don't make any contact."

Jian readily agreed and led Luis to the investigation area where the statements were being taken. As they walked down the corridor, Jian subtly tilted his head, a silent signal.
