Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 505 Someone Is Causing Trouble

Chapter 505  Someone Is Causing Trouble

Nina took out a box and handed it over. Luis glanced at it and immediately broke into a wicked grin. It was a box of 0.1 millimeter ultra-thin condoms.

Nina sighed and said, "Bella instructed me to pay attention to hygiene issues and to try to persuade you to use these. That way, I don't have to worry about getting pregnant either."

"She's that open-minded now?"

Luis placed the condoms into the storage compartment and teased, "It's no use, though. I prefer finishing inside without a condom, and I really enjoy oral creampies and facial shots too."

Just as he was speaking, his phone suddenly rang. It was his wife, Lily.

Her voice was trembling, almost on the verge of tears. "Honey, where are you??"

"What's wrong?"

Luis's heart clenched at her tone.

Lily's voice shook as she said, "Can you come back? I'm so scared. The power in the house keeps flickering on and off. I tried to go out and check earlier, but someone splashed paint all over our front door."

"What? I'm coming right now. Don't leave the house, stay right where you are."

Luis's expression shifted drastically. He immediately told Nina to turn the car around and head back to City Garden.

Nina steered the wheel and asked, "What happened?"

Luis gave her a brief rundown. Nina's face darkened. "Distant water won't put out a nearby fire. To be safe, you could call Dominic. He's already transferred his most trusted security team over to City Garden."

"Has the conflict escalated that much?"

Luis said doubtfully. He hesitated for a moment, then decided not to make the call.

Seeing this, Nina called Bella directly. After explaining the situation over the phone, she filled Luis in on some background.

The City Garden project was a Tiger Real Estate development, divided into three phases. Phase One consisted of relocation housing, and Phase Two was commercial residential buildings.

Recently, the residents had been pushing hard for the two phases to be merged. The separation made everyday life extremely inconvenient, taking the bus, buying groceries, everything required a long detour.

Phase One had better sports facilities, while Phase Two had superior amenities and greener surroundings. To make matters worse, the community kindergarten was in Phase One, but the residents' clubhouse was in Phase Two.

Neither side was satisfied, and the calls for unification grew louder. From a property management standpoint, a merger would mean only one company could run the entire complex.

Nina spoke bluntly: "This isn't just about merging two residential zones. It's about the Taiga and Leon families fighting to the death over who controls the property rights."

At the heart of the matter was Phase Three of City Garden, a villa district developed under special regulations. About twenty villas sat near the back hill of People's Park, a quiet pocket tucked away from the city's hustle.

After finishing Phase One and Phase Two, Tiger Real Estate had barely broken even. Profit margins were slim.

But Phase Three was different. The villas, though modest three-story homes rather than luxury estates, were ready for sale. Their total value exceeded one hundred million dollars.

That was the real profit, the quickest path to liquid capital. It had been a fierce point of contention between the Taiga and Leon families from the very beginning.

Though construction had finished two years ago, internal conflict had blocked the pre-sales process. The villas sat fully renovated, waiting.

Nina let out a soft sigh. "Business is never simple. This is a battle between the Leon and Taiga families, but we've tried to stay out of it."

"It's the same on the Taiga side. The Phase Two property management is run by one of Dominic's mistresses. If anything, they're even more invested than anyone else."

"Because once it's decided who takes control, one company will manage all three zones. That's millions of dollars in annual revenue, even on the low end."

Luis suddenly asked, "And what about Bella? Which target is she aiming for with that ambition of hers?"

Tiger Real Estate had many assets. Most of what the two families had jointly invested in could be liquidated cleanly. Only derivative projects like City Garden remained mired in dispute.

Nina hesitated, then said quietly, "I wasn't supposed to keep this from you anyway. But I think you should ask her yourself."

"If you're going to play that game, then I'm not interested."

With that, Luis led Nina back into City Garden. At the entrance, they ran into a familiar face, Virga, the head of security at Tiger Real Estate.

Once arrogant and overbearing, he now greeted Luis with fawning eagerness, rushing up with a grin. "Brother Luis, you're back."

"Virga, what's the situation?"

Luis asked, his tone tense with concern.

"We slipped in quietly. Had eyes on the place from the shadows. Some punk was flipping the main breaker on and off and messing with the water valves. We nabbed him and sent him to the station. Made sure they know who he is."

Virga spoke with absolute confidence. "Brother Luis, don't worry. We've got this place covered."

Just then, several security guards from Phase One Property Management arrived. Their manager's face was ashen. "What are you Phase Two people doing on our turf?"

Virga waved Luis off, signaling him to head inside. Then he turned and sneered provocatively. "I'm not Phase Two property management, you idiot. I'm the head of security for Tiger Real Estate. And after all this time, you send out a couple of bottom-feeders like yourselves? This is what you call picking a fight?"

As he spoke, over a dozen of his men stepped forward, their expressions fierce, spoiling for a confrontation.

Luis, too worried about his wife to linger, made his way upstairs. When he reached the door, rage surged through him. The entrance was splattered with red paint, and the security camera had been deliberately smashed.

Lily was curled up on the sofa, waiting. The sound of the door opening made her flinch. When she saw it was Luis, she scrambled to her feet and rushed into his arms.

"Honey!"

Lily sobbed, her voice trembling.

Luis held her tightly, stroking her back. "It's okay, it's okay. I'm here now. Nothing's going to happen. As long as I'm here, the sky isn't going to fall."

She cried for a long time before she noticed Nina standing quietly behind him. Nina had just hung up her phone and offered Lily a gentle, warm smile.

That smile was so radiant, so disarmingly beautiful, that for a moment Lily was captivated. Then she returned a shy smile of her own and quickly wiped her tears away.

Nina stepped closer and said softly, "Bella just told me. Dominic is personally looking into this now. It might get a bit more intense later."

"Leon is probably here too."

Nina walked to the balcony, cast a cold glance downward, and said, "He must have arrived earlier this morning."

She pointed to a white BMW parked in front of the real estate agency. "That's his car."

The situation in the community was growing more chaotic by the minute. Residents out for some evening air noticed the unrest. Not only had the Phase Two security team mobilized, but unfamiliar faces had also appeared throughout the neighborhood.

The two property companies had clashed frequently lately, but nothing this serious had ever erupted. Today, the tension had finally boiled over.

"Nina, stay with my wife. I'm going downstairs."

Luis had spotted his mother-in-law and Yana rushing back into the community from the outside. Worried they might walk into trouble, he hurried down without a second thought.

Nina nodded with quiet understanding. "Go ahead. Be careful."

"Be careful, honey."

Lily had stopped crying. If Luis had looked closely, he might have noticed something strange in her expression, an odd flicker of excitement beneath the tears.
