Li Wu was in a terrible state. She had paid a hefty price channeling her curse energy to help Chu Feng’s formation permeate the sacred item. Even so, she refused to get up and instead began to tear up.

“I know the phenomenon was induced by Feng Ling. Chu Feng, no words can repay the debt I owe you, but please accept my kowtow.”

Li Wu kowtowed to Chu Feng. Even though she hadn’t met Feng Ling yet, she could already tell from the earlier phenomenon that he had successfully rescued Feng Ling.

From this, Chu Feng could tell how deep their sisterly bond was, so he didn’t stop her. Instead, he reached into his formation realm and pulled Feng Ling out.

Li Wu rushed forward to embrace Feng Ling.

Li Wu’s killing intent dissipated, but it was replaced with shame. She knew that it would have been no easy task for Chu Feng to rescue Feng Ling and avenge her at the same time.

Li Wu and Bai Yunqing had been observing the Undying Starfield; they had witnessed the terrifying sight of a humongous scroll sealing off the Undying Starfield, as well as the Great Monster Slayer Emperor slashing through the sealing formation.

It must have been a difficult battle.

“Feng Ling and I will repay this favor,” Li Wu said.

“All right.” Chu Feng nodded.

He knew that Li Wu wasn’t the type to speak empty words; her words carried her conviction. Turning down her offer would only make her feel conscience-stricken.

“Big brother, I saw a huge soul entity tearing through the sealing formation that enveloped the Undying Starfield. Is that your doing?” Bai Yunqing asked with glowing eyes.

They had sensed the intense pressure from the soul entity, but they couldn’t tell who that soul entity was.

“It was the Great Monster Slayer Emperor’s soul entity,” Chu Feng replied.

“Big brother, have you obtained his legacy?” Bai Yunqing asked.

Chu Feng had previously told Wen Xue about the Great Monster Slayer Emperor’s tomb. By now, the whole group knew about Chu Feng’s motive for sneaking into the Undying Starfield.

“Yes.” Chu Feng nodded.

“That’s great! The journey was fraught with danger, but at least everything ended well,” Bai Yunqing replied.

“Junior Chu Feng, what are your plans? Do you intend to head to the Immortal Sea Galaxy?” Wen Xue asked.

They had witnessed the Immortal Sea Galaxy’s phenomenon, and they suspected that the phenomenon was related to the Immortal Sea Fish Clan. Considering how much Chu Feng cared about his friends, he would want to investigate the situation.

“Yes, I’m intending to go take a look,” Chu Feng replied.

“I won’t be accompanying you,” Wen Xue said.

“Senior, what is your plan?” Chu Feng asked.

“I’ll first return to the Hidden Dragon Martial Sect to visit my master before heading into the Ninth Galaxy. I was thinking of inviting you to come with me, but it looks like you’ll be staying here a while more.”

“Deal,” Chu Feng replied with a chuckle.

Wen Xue bade the group farewell and left.

“Big brother Chu Feng, Miss Li Wu is still in a dangerous condition, so I’ll help her recuperate first. I’ll look for you once her condition has stabilized,” Bai Yunqing said.

“Miss Li Wu’s safety takes precedence. Furthermore, Feng Ling remains unconscious even though she has induced a phenomenon. You might need to help her regain consciousness. For now, your job is to take care of them. You can look for me once they are faring better.”

Chu Feng handed a location talisman to Bai Yunqing. Through it, Bai Yunqing would be able to locate Chu Feng as long as he was within a set radius of the latter.

Following that, Chu Feng took his leave and made his way to the Immortal Sea Galaxy. He intended to first look for Zi Ling before checking out the Immortal Sea Fish Clan.

Li Wu was stunned.

Bai Yunqing laughed. “These are invaluable natural oddities that are all beneficial to Miss Li Wu’s condition. Big brother must be worried that you won’t accept them, so he hid them in the location talisman.”

“Your big brother is a meticulous man. You should learn more from him,” Li Wu said.

“Of course. That’s the man who granted me a new lease of life. He’s my role model.” Bai Yunqing smiled.

He fused the herbs into the recovery formation, and the recovery formation’s potency shot up. That gave him more confidence in treating Li Wu. He was about to channel the formation when a person suddenly walked in.

“Miss Wen Xue?”

Bai Yunqing and Li Wu were startled.

“Are you here to look for my big brother? He has already left for the Immortal Sea Galaxy.”

Wen Xue smiled. “No, I’m here for your lover.”
