Chapter 2996. Voice Of Will

Chapter 2996. Voice Of Will

It felt easier than before.

Carrying an elemental plane with him.

Walker knew that it had stressed him and he hadn’t even realized that it had stressed him. Now though, he felt like he had grown accustomed to it to the point that it was like second nature. Almost like the multi dimensional storage skill was just attaching to it and holding it for him.

Whether that internal interpretation was correct or not, Walker chalked it up to growing and understanding the ability to seal and move elemental planes. He also understood that the uniqueness of a spatial elemental plane was here as well.

He also believed that the small size and need for more mana in this cut off piece of elemental plane was important.

If there was a bit of a space elemental spirit within this elemental plane, then it meant that the plane he had seen had a huge chance of growing at one point. That it had already developed more and more before becoming whatever piece of an experiment it had been cut from.

Although, Walker found himself drift in to though on another theory.

That spatial song cicada said that it was trying to develop another of its kind. If it was a being made of mainly mana, then wouldn’t that mean a consciousness like an advanced elemental spirit might form in to one of them?

So in theory, were the spatial song cicada race just elemental spirits that developed from space elemental planes in specific ways and eventually became the owner and being of what that elemental plane had once been?

Meaning that in its own actions it had cut off the very consciousness it was trying to develop and foster in to one like itself?

That theory rang through Walker’s mind entirely making him believe that he was more than just right about it. He even felt that he might have hit the nail on the head and this was exactly the case.

If it was such, he found some small joy in knowing that the being uncaring of the lives within the experiments they were doing had just given away what they were trying to create. Also, that Walker had the chance to help that spirit and also the space dragon leading toward both having a better future.

"It needs more mana again." The girl pulled at Walker’s robes even more this time.

"I know it will need consistent care. I have some theories about your class and I believe you are not going to be crafting dungeons like I wanted to inspire people to be able to do." He had somewhat made up a theory about this girl and the crafting she would be able to do if she was able to interact with the spirits that an elemental plane might be forming. Or, even able to interact with important elemental spirits like the elemental kings.

The three of them entered the edge of the water elemental plane. Walker and sensed the movement and change in the planes due to their natural flow. However, he had also not explored his theory. He knew that the demon boy was also very interested, yet his form of crafting was also going to be very unique for him as well so Walker would try to allow him some insight on other forms of crafting to give him ideas.

"True water sage, can you see if the water king can hear and speak to this girl? She has a quest and path to crafting some unique things and I want to see if she has the innate skill to communicate with spirits that form because of the will of an elemental plane."

The two looked at the water expanse ahead of them wondering what Walker was speaking to.

When they noticed the humanoid golem shifting through the water and taking on different forms, they were amazed. It had swapped from humanoid to different monster shapes like putting on a show. Most likely to show off slightly for the younger ones that Walker brought here.

"Guiding the future I see, but they do not have affinities with the water. They are interesting though, and that is simply done since the king has been watching you since you arrived moments ago. He sensed her as well."

"You are too weak. Grow more first."

The voice caused a ripple through all the waters. The true water sage even rippled like the golem body they controlled had almost been overwhelmed.

While the demon boy did not hear a thing, the girl’s eyes grew wide and Walker noticed it. He had heard with his uniqueness but she should not have easily heard those words.

"This is the true water sage. An aspect of the water elemental planes. Each true sage gave up their being entirely to represent and assist in protecting the elemental plane they live in. They serve and work with the elemental kings, spirits that came to be because of the collective will of the entirety of their elemental plane."

"And that was proof that you have the ability to hear and speak with the spirits that embody an elemental plane."

Walker felt confident and wondered if some of what he knew was no longer what he actually learned. To him, he felt like he was just spontaneously learning things or remembering them. Potentially an aspect of being part of the origin race.

As he got stronger, innate knowledge might flow in to him due to his racial bonds and aspects.

"That must mean, the path you go on when you finish quests will be that of the elemental plane sculpture, or the plane crafter. You might work alongside very will for the elemental plane to assist in the manipulation and crafting of the plane itself. A class that should normally just be learned by those of a race like mine, the origin race. But who says there are limits that your race can stop you at?"

This was something that both the boy and girl felt had been beyond their imagination.

They knew others of certain races they had met since they had come to Genesis and started to grow there focused on their races for some classes. The dragon knights were ones they recently met. Only able to become such a powerful and defensive knight because of their innate strength and resistances as dragons.

Yet, Walker casually said that race was not truly a limit at all?

"What? You forgot the elves who reawakened their high elf bloodlines and even gained new affinities or fully changed their races to be unique specialized singular elemental affinity elves? Or maybe myself, who was a human and became a member of the origin race through my effort and understanding of mana and all that is?"

He laughed and the true water sage appeared to be laughing as well. Walker knew that the true water sage moved with the flow of water. Yet, he also was learning now that the true water sage was much less serious and more interested in the younger generation.

He felt that this might be true of all the sages, but seeing this side of them proved that they also felt the true core of what it meant for each elemental plane to develop and give rise to new potential.

"Thank you for helping me with that little test. When these crafters grow more I imagine both of you and many others will see their work. I will also look at the potential for younger generations to begin exploring and meeting those of the elemental planes. With the right protections they may be able to meet the younger generations you guide as well."

This sent ripples around the water for as far as Walker could see. The true water sage even changed form to that of a larger whale showing off their desire for this and also the entertainment value of their skills. The two younger crafters looked in awe, giving them exactly what they wished for.

"I will speak with the other true sages, we all have many who would do well to open their eyes to the future you are planting seeds for. The elemental planes are changing, they are growing, and you are helping everything along." The true water sage released the golem body returning the direct area to calm waters for as far as the eye could see.

The small space elemental plane attached to Walker received more mana he drew in, but the sealing that was there and the bond with Walker for now made it perfect for keeping the calm of everything else around.

It was odd, but since space was always present as a foundation, it seemed that the plane with them did not harm anything. Instead, it seemed to easily move compared to any resistance an opposing mana would have.

Another step forward, and they teleported again.
