Chapter 2997. In To Chaos

Chapter 2997. In To Chaos

Part of Walker was considering trying to make the space elemental plane with the space drain within it a multi dimensional storage. However, that would require him to be able to store something living.

The space dragon itself which was already in a very weakened state and unable to even be conscious or safely absorbing mana.

Yet, that was assuming that there was any other way to allow the space dragon to come in to heb world without Walker keeping the space elemental plane tiny and manageable.

This challenge was reflected in his expression as the two young crafters realized that Walker had been considering how and what to do here.

Besides their own worries since they now had new quests to pursue as they could become crafters that no one else had ever managed to do, it was also the fact that they had managed to see things that they never imagined making them feel like they could witness Walker do exactly what they believed him capable of.

Specifically, save the space elemental plane and the space dragon that they could see was there despite their lack of full understanding of what they were actually looking at.

"We are nearly to the bridge to the world, you will both walk through it and there will be someone waiting for you to help you both get back and pursue your quests. That is your priority." He saw them both about to speak out, "Neither of you are involved with this any further. That is because it is my duty to handle these things. Both of you have a duty to pursue your own strength and grow."

His words were stern.

Not because he was worried they would be unable to handle what he might need to do, but because he had to ensure that they did not lose the chances they had now. He had intentionally brought many of the crafters to see different perspectives and these two had gone with him on a risky journey, although short as it was.

It has changed their entire perspective of everything that the world was and what may be beyond it.

The average person would barely even contemplate what else was going on in the world or what was possible for the world to become later. This wasn’t because they did not care but because they were focused on their own path.

Family could make someone care about the direct world around them. The goal to achieve the best sword crafted in the world could be that reason. There could even be the goal of feeding the people of the world.

No matter what those goals were, everyone had them. Those that had the goals of venturing beyond were also many and preparing themselves to do just that. The ambassador groups training right now were exactly that.

But those who would go beyond the elemental planes to the unknown? Well, you could tell if there were more people able to do such a thing.

"I used a communication crystal to call for Su to come help both of you. She also promised me she would introduce you to the wandering blacksmith since she had already planned to visit him and show him some spots in her shields and armors that might need to be improved. Both of you can see the materials you may need to pursue your quests or ask questions from someone who has forged with nearly every technique, not just forging either."

This seemed to distract the two, but the girl hearing the voice of the spirit within the space elemental plane clearly was still too worried to leave. Yet, she was convinced when she saw Walker still attached to the space elemental plane and could tell he was not going to forsake this duty of his. She also could sense the comfort from the spirit she had heard.

"I will be able to help next time." She promised right away and the demon boy took her hand and they started to walk through the bridge back to the world.

He knew that they were safe there since the bridge was stable and he had sensed the manas within. The bridges to and from the elemental planes were some of the safest places due to their strong mana flows and space mana foundations. Walker had managed to assist in making sure of that so he could rest easy knowing the two were more than safe.

He also stopped at the bridge for a reason.

He had considered the downsides of not being able to allow the space elemental plane to grow along with the downsides of the space dragon being trapped in such a small place.

He also realized that any attempt to fuse this space elemental plane into the central multi dimensional storage he was already growing and expanding was too risky. The odds are it would perish and he would be leaving nothing but false promises behind.

He had an idea though. A better way.

He had explained to the crafters the positions that the world and elemental planes were in. why there were bridges that connected them.

He also understood that the unknown could expand for forever as far as he or anyone else in the world knew.

But he ahd also explained that there was a space of chaotic and dangerous mana between the world and the elemental planes.

The exact area where they moved safely through because of the bridges.

A place that he had not explored and that was too chaotic to be able to be called a place that was safe and sound for much of anything to develop.

Yet, what if he had a protective seal around a space elemental plane that could develop there and would not be harmed by the chaotic mana. What if that space could grow until it was able to be merged with the space mana of the world or the overall greater elemental planes themselves?

Wouldn’t that be the best option?

He’d been apprehensive about it when first understanding that chaotic mana was freely there and very dangerous. But since he had first learned of this, he had developed an affinity and ability to use a lot of natural mana when he needed it. He also had learned how to handle the corrupted aspects of beings, plants, and areas affected by chaotic manas.

Others had been trained to handle such things as well.

Therefore, why not venture in to that space and use it as a place where he could hold elemental planes safely? Why not be the only being that entered there and safely traveled so that he could protect a few of those who needed the isolation to heal and grow?

There was no way he would be able to take two young crafters there and protect them while protecting himself. The pouter elemental planes? The mana was weaker there and he could manage.

This place? Well, he knew that the mana was so chaotic and condensed that it could bend space and break in to the world or the elemental planes. That was just the nature of the place. Soon a seal would need to be done that allowed the space mana in the ambient area to absorb and nourish it and the elemental plane.

His focus on that would be entirely his and nothing else when it came to protecting his body and the elemental plane could be done.

If another was trying to do this, they might find that they were pushing at an impossible wall. Not just in understanding and skill, but a literal wall of space mana that could stop them because they would need much more strength for it. Both mana manipulation and physically to handle that strain.

For Walker, it was much simpler. He has the ability and knowledge to do this while also having the resistance to manage it.

It was why he felt the shift in space mana the moment he began to push. The chaotic mana barely reacted since he was using natural mana to coat himself and the space elemental plane behind him.

Even just the first step moving forward and pushing in to this chaotic mana area showed promise.

The ambient space mana was pulled toward the spatial elemental plane naturally. But it also reacted to Walker following him better as he forced some order in to the chaotic manas around him.

Their clashing reactions were like waves of pressure from all sides. Sparks of fire reacting with water and light clashing with darkness was constant. It made Walker completely understand why this area was not at all one managed by anything or anyone. It was just chaotic manas trying to move and failing to balance in any way shape or form.

He felt the stress but he knew he could handle it as he fully moved in to the chaos and away from what he knew as safe.
