Chapter 3066: 3066. Very Far Away Unknowns

Walker first thought that the language on the wooden door in the middle of a literal field having a mix of elven and dwarven language on it was not strange. Both the longer and more elegant elvish and the rough sharp cornered dwarven languages were present.

However, there is not a normal reason that the two languages would be slammed together like that. Even if they formed a village in the more ancient side of their histories.

The elves and the dwarves never really got along when they were closer in the past. However, that changed over time. They had grown to respect their boundaries and if they could they would not interact to avoid any issues.

There was still only one modern day example of the two races living together actively and that was Genesis itself.

Using the all around appraisal to guess at the dungeon, Walker knew that he would learn a lot more from that than sitting here and letting his mind run. He even accepted that he would just simply end up going in circles since he could tell that there was so much wrong with what he was thinking already.

Just making theories and trying to force them to be was not on his desired wishlist for the day.

’Halfling explorer’s mansion

This dungeon is a broken remnant of a lost race within the multiple elemental planes and the great expanse of true existence

Halfling explorer’s mansion fragment dungeon

This is a dungeon from a vast distance away. It is from a race unknown to the current world due to the extreme distance between them.

Having drifted through the vastness of existence, it settled in to the flow of calm space mana allowing it to become anchored here.

Various pieces of different realms are always capable of becoming dungeons when damaged or when entirely broken. This is one such part broken from its origin and now part of the world in a degrading way.

This dungeon will eventually dissipate but the knowledge, mana, items, and history within can be explored for thirty days until it will no longer exist. It has remained bound to the world for three days so far.

The halfling race was one that could be called new to this world since it is not a race made of two other races mixing. Instead, it was an independent race that derived different feathers at the borders of other races’ territories. It also was seen as being partially related to various races since they had a wide array of different abilities.

They were limited to their smaller size and relied on their knowledge to learn to survive within various situations. Some developed magic while others focused on technology. Some even learned the flow of nature when they had the chance.

This led to them making unique mixed items and techniques, such as their explorer mansions that could dwell within separate spaces without the need for the owner to have a spatial magic affinity.

This fragment is the remains of a mansion sheared from a personal space when their- damage- none...

This remnant is able to be taken from and will never replenish. It is exceptionally dangerous for those without space magic affinity since the shifting insides of the mansion as they break and dissipate will cause harm to those within.

There are magical and physical components and monsters within that are trying to escape but lack the capabilities to do so, therefore, their inner mana is chaotic enough to cause them to rage constantly.

Intelligence is unable to exist within these beings at this time and can not be returned since they no longer have the ability to survive elsewhere but the mansion fragment.

Some items within will degrade the instant that they are touched while others may be able to be retained. The knowledge within can also be utilized...’

Walker’s head hurt.

There were multiple parts of the all around appraisal that seemed to break or entirely halt being explained.

Pieces that most likely were related to the fact that this was an entirely different world and span of planes he could not even get near. Places that might be so far away beyond the outer elemental planes that if he even attempted to understand them he would be injured.

He could feel the will of the world somewhat stopping the appraisal and that explained to him why it had changed as he read it. He didn’t resist that, he felt thankful since he could understand how weak he was in the greater unknown of everything.

However, he was pleased to understand that this race of beings was one that could theoretically exist within their world.

A race that developed on the borders of various others would certainly take bits and pieces of them to grow themselves. That made sense because that was the case for some smaller villages that existed.

But this also explained how such a race would make a strange mixed language that was reminiscent of elven and dwarven languages when written.

It also explained that the unknown beyond had life and people living in their own ways. Whether he could see that sooner or later did not matter, he was not even going to consider that.

He was interested in the fact that spatial magic had been developed to make entire mansions within a stored space that could be used to rest in.

It directly related to the multi dimensional space he had made and was fostering. Although, he was making an open garden and adding manas and smaller creatures to it to create an ecosystem. Whether he would succeed in that and grow it to be more than that was still to be seen. It was developing though.

He also understood that the level of damage to a fragment of any space was important.

In this case, the dungeon formed by that fragment would not exist within a month. That everything inside it was also at risk of entirely ceasing to be anything but the mana that had once become what it was at the origin of its formation.

Something even harder to grasp since that meant there was a deep and intense damage to the underlying foundations of what it was as a whole. Space was one of those foundations, and destabilizing that might cause damage.

Walker could do that if he wanted to be exceptionally reckless.

But to degrade it to the point that something would cease to be and break down in to the smallest and most original aspects of itself?

That was something well beyond his comprehension right now.

Monsters or created somewhat living things within were there too. They were so damaged they were in a state of rage and most likely insanity. The exact reason that the adventurers foolish enough to go in there had been harmed.

Let alone any shifting that could have come from the space moving and breaking down as well.

Taking a deep breath, Walker formed a larger wall around the dungeon entrance and also left words in the wall explaining that no one was to enter the wall or attempt to do so. He had to ensure that they were safe.

In return, he used teleportation to bring his real body here and have the golem body remain as a guard. He could sense his bond as he opened the door but also that there was a shiver in the connection while moving within.

It was a sign that the very fabric of space was damaged. A sign that the natural order and foundation was not there to easily uphold the rules of what he knew.

Yet, he was unprepared for the intricately carved wooden entrance he saw.

Various short and distinct shapes carved in a larger wooden staircase. The walls were adorned with splintered wooden carved statues. Some of them even seemed to have once had moving components. Proving the mix of magic and technology he had just seen in the edited all around appraisal.

Even more so, he found that the floor was broken in places. Some were shiny and well kept while others had a gray touch to them. Like the very mana they were made of and the color was stolen from them.

It was a sign he needed to take a greater care of everything.

Items themselves were not what he was after. They could be interesting but it was the knowledge he wished to chase.

Learning about this far away race that may or may not still exist would help him. It might even give him the methods of expanding his overall understanding of what lay beyond the outer elemental planes.

The places that he could not comprehend and was surely blocked from even trying to get nearby origin beings that kept the safety of the greater elemental planes.

It really made Walker want to wonder what the real size of everything he knew and did not know was...
